I don’t write negative reviews. But I also don’t take rude attitude from staff when I’ve been perfectly kind so this is a special circumstance. I had a uhaul reserved for 9:30am. Yes I was late but I’ve had a stressful morning. They called and left a message saying they’d cancel me by 10. Totally understand. I call back and apologize for not being there and give the guy an idea of where I am and promise him I still will be renting his truck - can be there by 11. He throws attitude at me for being late and not calling him - asks if I’m wasting his time and if I will really show up at 11. Keep in mind I was very nice until this point but after this point I threw a little back. You don’t talk to someone like that and expect them to take it. I said yes I’ll be there by 11, why are you haggling me - I’m having a stressful morning. I told you I’ll get it by 11, I’m trying to give you business! He fires back saying I have attitude and he won’t do business with me. Cancelling.Wouldn’t trust this facility with anything....

I booked this storage from Texas and when I arrived, Shamus was very helpful in getting me a space right away. They are in the process of upgrading everything - lights, security, cleanliness. I know my stuff is safe there. And even better - they are cheaper than most other places I checked in the area. Great storage site!

Came up from Los Angeles and needed a place to store some critical gear, household stuff and these guys were first rate, worked hand in hand with U-Haul, gave me a killer rate and hooked me up with a couple spaces right next to each other in just the right size. Theyve been the best storage service Ive used from coast to coast and I cant say enough about how Shamus and Dennis, (the two site managers) make a transitional time in life safe, secure and Ill say it one more time: Best Storage from Coast to Coast!

My daughter had lost her business and we needed a place and some people we could trust to store her investment. Just got an email from Empire Mini Storage in Novato informing me that new management has elected to end their climate controlled refrigeration section for wine storage due to costs. I moved overseas and am now stuck due to the COVID situation, and now risk losing my wine collection as the climate controlled section that Ive been paying for is converted into nothing more than a hot oven. Clearly this new management is for the worse. I hope Ill be able to arrange for someone to save my wine. When Im finally allowed to fly back to the states for a visit, Ill be sure to end my relationship with Empire.

Great staff!! Bill was amazing, kind and nice to my mom who rented unit there for awhile. He was amazing! I wish I could express in words how grateful and appreciative I am for his kindness and help as moving can be stressful but he made the experience seen easy.

Easy rental experience for a uhaul pickup. They were also very kind in helping me with some shipping needs I had. I dont use their storage facility but if its anything like their uhaul experience then I would recommend it.

Horrible customer service, oh yea, and mice! I found them in my unit January 29th and report d it to managements. They claimed it was because of the rain. Its now July and Im over trying to wait for them to take care of this. I had allowed them access to my storage unit to replace the mice traps and they didnt do it- I always had to bring the full traps to the office. Theyve never offered to genuinely help and now Im stuck with furniture that stinks and saying goodbye to my sentimental items. Dont rent here!

Then buy it from U-Haul was the flippant answer I got when I asked the price of boxes and told the man that U-haul had better prices.
