Great staff and they crushed it on decorations and tried really hard to make everyone’s holiday awesome.

Seemed short on help.. line went fairly quickfor the day before Halloween .

There are several locations of party City all of them are geared up for Halloween and any other part of you want to have directions are great easy to find

First time coming here but will give it another shot. Got my daughter a large blow up Minnie Mouse and get it home and her head was slightly deflated. Drove back up and they topped her off but couldnt find a leak. Got Minnie to the party and her head was deflated like before. Not a huge deal just a little disappointed only for the cost.

Id give a zero if I could. I will never go back. The staff were rude without cause and the wait to be assisted... beyond ridiculous - their smartphones were apparently more important than working.To top it off they refused to take cash - I should have walked out.

I had the best experience at Party City. I work in a public schools system and I met a clerk who was also a student that goes to the same public schools system. She was friendly, pleasant, and we had the best conversation. Everyone had on a mask and they practice social distancing. My child was being indecisive with what they wanted and the clerk was very patient while waiting on us. I will definitely visit again.

If I could give this location 0 stars I would! Ordered 60th birthday balloons for my father who lives near Novi. I’m from out of town so I placed the order with intention of picking them up right before his party. Arrived and the associates informed me that they had run out of the 0 balloons so only had a 6 for me. Obviously, I didn’t want to Bring just a 6 to a 60th birthday. Associates said that if I didn’t take the rest of the order, the single 6, I wouldn’t be charged. Fine. Later this week checked my credit card and I was indeed charged. Called the store, explained the situation and was told I would have to drive all of the way (45 mins) to that store to receive my refund. How frustrating!!!

Store was short staffed, unorganized and busy. Felt bad for workers and people waiting in line. Employees were doing their best under the circumstances.

A very kind employee helped me fill my pre-bought balloons and even replaced one when it ripped. I will definitely come here again if I need balloons filled again!

The day after I bought balloons for a birthday celebration, the biggest one had lost a lot air and another one had popped. When I walked into the store, Kaylynn and Hala were extremely helpful and aired the one back up for me and replaced the other.They were so nice and caring about my situation. I appreciated the kindness and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this Party City to anyone. I will be going back in the future when I need something.

Would give 0 stars! Will not be back. Had a gender reveal balloon supposed to be blown up.. they told me I could pick up 4/04/21 at 10 AM. (as it says on my receipt) EASTER SUNDAY. well they were closed! No calls, no nothing. Already paid for it. I want my money back. Completely Ruined gender reveal.Update: The manager was super apologetic and gave me a full refund for everything I bought. I appreciate them for doing so. I updated my stars. I will be back again. It was a big misunderstanding, mistakes happen.

Amy there is incredible! Ordered an item online for a pick up and she went to a different location to make sure my son would have it for his birthday! Something she did not need to do and simply could have canceled that part of the order! It’s hard to find great staff now a days so for her to do that for us was honestly mind blowing! I found everything I needed for my kids party. It was so easy to choose in the variety they have in colors and characters for kids. The personnel very friendly when asking questions regarding items I couldnt find. No complaints at all...

My job responsibilities includes lots of community events. Whenever I attend an event that has a dress up theme I go straight to Party City. They have such a vast selection of crazy skirts, wigs, tights, sunglasses and all kinds of party wear. They also have a huge selection of party supplies. In the card section you are absolutely guaranteed to find just the right card for any occasion. Hands down they have the largest balloon selection. The Novi, MI location is always well organized and the employees are very friendly.

Worked there for less than a month and it was a disaster to say the least. Also, manager is very rude. From the very second week, she constantly told me she would help me on a project we started the very first day I got there and one day I asked her about it and she said “you just need to figure it out on your own! I am not going to help you with everything” uhm okay then don’t say you will do something and never do it. To my very last day, I had two employees completely disrespecting me (mind you I was PT front supervisor) and she completely blamed everything on me and said “what is wrong with you? You just don’t know how to handle things” LMBO I was out after that.

Had a curbside pick up.. after waiting awhile, I had to go inside to get it. store wasnt busy and had multiple workers at the register, they just didnt bring my order out.

Clean and well organized store. Has a lot packed in. Great for specific party supplies, but prices are a bit higher than other stores. Can seem overcrowded especially at Halloween time. Overall a decent store for party or theme needs.

Selection and stock were very limited. I was able to make items work for what I needed and the young man behind the counter was extremely helpful. If you are looking for a specific theme that is not a childs birthday I recommend ordering on line and picking up at the store. If there was better selection, or at least stock for what what they do carry it would be 4 stars.

Wide variety of collections required for any party related stuff. Visited a while ago and lots of new varieties had been added now. Items are moderated to high. Found the staff helpful over the counter.

Sydney and Darrian are amazing, and went above and beyond to help me (even after closing) to get everything I needed for my husband’s 30th birthday & make it perfect. They gave me opinions, helped me color coordinate, and stayed late for me. I will never forget their kindness. They are both qualified & professional. I couldn’t be happier with my purchases. I went here to get 50th birthday stuff for my dads party and they had like nothing... I went to the dollar store after and got more there and paid less than I did at party city for like 5 things... and there was like absolutely no staff there.. I seen the check out lady and that was it when I asked her if she had something in the back she said I dont know and moved on with ringing me up. Do not recommend going here check out your local dollar store first.

One.. ONE person was working the counter. Stood in line for over 15 minutes and 2 other workers walked by, saw the line and then disappeared. The one female behind the counter was going as fast as she could, but when the other 2 co-workers walked past and saw the line growing they couldn’t be bothered to assist her. Complete waste of time and didn’t even bother buying balloons. This is the closest Party City to me but it looks like I’ll be driving elsewhere. It’s a shame!

Manager would not even call another store for us. And tne store had only 1 other customer. Completely rude.

Robyn handled ordering and creating our wedding invitations, and they turned out wonderfully! She was so helpful, and assisted us in creating the most beautiful invitations! Even when the printing company made an error on the order, she went above and beyond to make sure our order was taken care of. We will definitely be visiting this Party City for any other party planning needs.

I placed and purchase a balloon order online a day or two before, when I got there it was not ready, and they did not have all of the balloons that I paid for.

Went to pick out a piñata for my sons birthday party and when I asked how much a certain unmarked one was, the lady at the counter told me she thinks its $20 and she just stayed leaning in the counter and made no effort to tell me the actual price. I decided in that moment that I would not be buying my pinata from here because of that. No thanks. I also could not find a single party game. I will not be returning to this store.

I dont like party stores because very little of what they carry appeals to me in any way. However, when, on the night before Halloween, my daughter was heartbroken because she had been hoping for realistic fangs (not those plastic chompy things), I came here as a last resort after visiting several other area stores. Not only were there fangs, but there were numerous varieties in stock in spite of the fact that most people had finished their costumes days or weeks before. I was able to properly spoil my child so that she could be the unicorn-riding vampire princess she was hoping to be, and for the resulting daddy points (and the other Halloween supplies that were conveniently available on my way out), I will look here first in the future for any urgent Halloween needs.

Went in to buy 16 helium balloons for my grandaughters birthday. We were amazed how many ballons they had on display, largest my wife and I have seen. Quick, friendly service and only a very short wait. Other places near us are having a helium shortage so we were glad to find this place wasnt having one.

You get some things you cant find elsewhere. Other than ordering online.

Ordered a LOT of balloons for womens show, in sets of 4 with weights. Called said we wanted them in bags and WOULD PAY THE 4 DOLLARS when we get there. Well they didnt do that and the girl said yeah we can do that, stand in line and wait, while there are 15 people in line.I SAID AT 2PM THAT DAY TO PLEASE BAG THEM IN 4 GROUPS AND ILL PAY THE $4 WHEN I GET THERE!!!!! OMG!! How frustrated whould you be!? Young girl pony tail on top. Very rude!

Terrible customer service. Took 25 minutes to get a few balloons purchased and blown up. It wasn’t that busy- the two cashiers at the front were just slow and not calling for back up despite the long line that was accruing. I even asked if they could call for some extra help and they said they were going as fast as they could. Ok well I guess that’s that. Needless to say it was very frustrating and caused us to be late to where we were going. I won’t go back to that party city.

The customer service was terrible. All the cashiers were standing at one end of the registers but then told the two customers who lined up at that end that the line was at the other end. Then only one of the four cashiers for on register to help the, by then, four customers while the remaining cashiers carried on their conversation.

Called and waited on hold for someone to check for a quality of an item I needed for Halloween. I was pleased to find that they had exactly what I needed and asked if they could hold those items for me and was told No. I explained I would be there to pick them up in an hour as I live that far from Novi and was told that it was store policy not to hold anything during Halloween. I asked why another store readily agreed to hold items for me no problem and was told the store manager for that location set their own policy and allowed no holds. Well after calling 6 different stores I could honestly say there is NO concern for customer service at the Novi store ....take your business elsewhere..I will be writing to corporate...........

This would be okay if the store was packed and I was trying to sneak in, but the line was empty and only one of two cashiers had customers.
