I having nothing but praise for Richard and Todd. I had my basement remodeled and they did a fabulous job. Nothing was too difficult for them to tackle. I gave them my wish list - new steps with cable bannister, a pantry, cabinets, craftsman style windows, a paneled ceiling - and the work was done beautifully and without a hiccup. The Father and Son team listened to my wants, were easy to work with, and very professional. I would not hesitate to use RD & Son and highly recommend them.

Todd, Rich and team did an outstanding job finishing our basement. They were responsive from the start, immediately understood our vision, gave helpful recommendations, and started work quickly, even while their business is overloaded during COVID-19. They actually completed the multi-week project ahead of schedule. And there was zero sacrifice on quality: The craftsmanship is top-notch. I was introduced to Todd @ RD & Son, when we were living in Belleville and remodeling our kitchen which had previously been remodeled by a prior owner approx. 15 years earlier. We decided we needed more counter space and looked to replace the peninsula countertop with cabinets and a wider countertop to provide additional storage and counter space for prepping. Todd was instrumental in bringing about that vision to exactly match the new cabinet profile and color to the existing cabinets and also in assisting us in locating a matching slab of granite to the original granite countertopsThis was no small feat to accomplish in a kitchen previously remodeled 15 years earlier, but Todd came through with flying color making the new blend in perfectly with the old. We worked with Todd on serval other projects at our Belleville home from replacing a front bay window to renovating our family room, adding a beautiful oak handrail where no handrail existed before.Todd’s craftsmanship without question made a difference when it came time to relocate and sell our beautiful home. We had over 100 families visit our open house and went into contract a few days after the open house and closed within 60 days with no issues. Todd’s efforts and workmanship no doubt made the difference providing multiple offers and many letters from prospective buyers asking us to sell our house to them.When we located a new home, we immediately contacted R&D Construction to look the new home over that we were interested in buying to get their professional opinion, again Todd without hesitation met us at the new home to look the house over and listened to what our interest were in the house, given that the prior owner had lived there since the home was built in 1954 with little to no changes since the house was built, so there was a lot of work to accomplish. After we closed, we contracted with R&D Construction on our new home to complete a full Kitchen renovation, along with a full basement gut and remodel, all new windows and construction of a new deck and patio. The process was seamless, and Todd was always eager to assist and direct us with the renovation avoiding many pitfalls that homeowners generally fall into when attempting to renovate a house. Todd has many reliable professional licensed tradesmen that he works together and coordinates with on a renovation project.Todd and R&D Construction brought our project to fruition, while we were living in our new home and renovating at the same time, this again is no easy feat to accomplish, but with Todd, it just works because of his professionalism, knowledge of construction, craftsmanship and above all his integrity. RD & Son Contractors did a beautiful job on my upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. We had two leaks in both our shower floor and in the pipes in our upstairs bathroom, which leaked into our downstairs bathroom. What a mess! I called RD & Son, and they immediately put my mind at ease. Having three children, I was in panic mode because I thought that I was not going to be able to utilize either of my bathrooms for an extended period of time. However, RD & Son were able to make the repairs and renovations in a very timely manner, allowing us the ability to utilize the downstairs bathroom in the evenings throughout their repairs. Our new bathroom upstairs is beautiful and our downstairs bathroom is repaired and is as good as new! Honestly, our upstairs bathroom is now my favorite room in the house. RD & Son Contractors are reliable, trustworthy, honest and do very beautiful work. I would recommend them to anyone!
