Very impressed so far. The instruction seems to have a high level of detail, which is very important in dance. My daughter absolutely loves it and is excited to go back to each class which shes attended. When we signed her up for a class that was a little too high, the instructor was very supportive and discreetly told me.she should be9ved down a class. Even though my daughter was a little behind the rest of the class that day (which usually frustrates her), she still had a great experience.

Cant say enough good things about Sandy, Jenna, and the rest of the staff at Young Dance Academy! Weve been a YDA family member for nearly 7 years and have watched our daughter, once a small child simply enrolled to be involved in an activity, transform into a beautifully talented and skilled performer on stage. This program offers so much more than you can imagine. The curriculum and education may start with a few dance steps, but thats not where it stops. Know that your child will absolutely walk the rest of their lives down a brightened path paved by the experiences, structure, attributes, friendships, and fun that all began with a tap class. Our three kids have been a part of this studio for several years and they love it! My daughter is part of the competitive dance program and she has had so many positive experiences and opportunities. The teachers teach the kids to be positive role models for others and they have great values that they instill in our kids. This studio has some of the most talented teachers around and I couldnt be happier with the progress my kids have made at this studio. There are so many different types of dance classes students can take from beginner to advanced.

I researched several dance studios for my young daughter. So glad I decided on Young Dance Academy. The progress she has made in only one year is amazing. The instructors experienced dancers & are absolutely great. They are so patient & extremely energetic. The price is comparable but the costuming & recitals are hands down the best in town. I could not ask for a better place for my daughter to be!!!

I have been a part of this studio since age 2. I went through the Technique Intensive program and competitive program through middle school, and continued to take classes while in high school. This program gave me an excellent foundation of technique, and I was able to go on to be successful on my high school and college dance team. Something I love about YDA is that there is a class for everyone at every level! They truly inspire kids to have a love of dance. I am thankful for my experience and wouldnt trade it for anything!!!

My daughter has been dancing at Young Dance Academy for the past three years. We have had nothing but positive experiences with the studio. The classes are taught by experienced dancers, including the owner Sandy. The cost is very competitive, and the recitals in June are simply amazing! I would highly recommend this studio!

My 5 year-old daughter loves taking dance classes at Young Dance! Weve been taking her since she was 3. The studio is well-run by Sandy and her staff. I have always liked how the older girls help in the younger girls classes. The shows are phenomenal and the skills my daughter is learning at a young age are great to see. The teachers shes had have all have high expectations, but the environment is very nurturing and caring.

BEST dance studio in the Milwaukee area. It’s well run, very experienced teachers and so many different classes to chose from. The older girls at the studio take care of the younger kids and take them under their wings. The recitals are run with precision and are so artfully put together. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Absolutely love this studio! The adult jazz class is a great opportunity for adults to get out of the house, socialize and learn something new. The addition of the adult tap class was icing on the cake this year! Would recommended Young Dance for any dancer of any age!

The teachers are outstanding. Both of my girls dance there with complete opposite personalities. One is very shy and timid the other very outspoken and a handful. They have both been bale to excel in class as well as everyday life and I have the staff to thank for that. I love that on the younger aged classes there are numerous helpers to keep the kids on track and correct them so that they are learning to their fullest potential.

YDA is not only a fantastic place to be but the level of technique, creative choreography and the option of many great dynamic dance styles, is just amazing! I have took many classes there for years and now my kids do. We both love it and enjoy the awesome recitals every year!!

My daughter has attended this dance studio for 2 years now. The experience has been nothing but positive. The teachers are amazing, the assistants in the class are so nice, and then entire atmosphere of the place is excellent. The talent and skills of these dancers and this studio is hands down the best.Most recently we also held a 6th birthday party for my daughter at the studio. There was 15 kids and they had their nails painted, hair done, face painting, played bingo, parachute, and of course dancing. I had many contacts with parents about not only the party being one of the best parties and that is all they talk about but also about starting at the studio after their amazement of the place. The birthday party was run so smooth and they were kept busy with a ton of fun. The best part of it all is that the decorations, set up, clean up, all necessary plates, napkins, silverwear, snacks, and juice was all included in the cost so it made things so easy on us as well.We would easily and will always recommend this studio to everyone for dance or a party! I could never thank the people at this studio enough for all their hard work and dedication to these students.

YDA has been a great place for my daughter to develop in her dance skills while having fun! The staff is excellent and a committed group of teachers. There are a wide range of classes for various abilities - from recreation dance to professional competition. We took a small break from YDA, but ended up coming back. We are very happy with our experiences here.

My granddaughters started out at a different dance academy, but when we switched, we were SO pleased. With the old dance academy, the children on stage copied their teacher instead of knowind the dance.After the very first recital with Young Dance, I was TOTALLY impressed with how much the girls had learned. ALL of their performances were done without the aid of their teacher. They both have learned so much, I love when they come over and show me what they have learned and parts of the dances for the upcoming shows. CUDOS to everyone at Young Dance for making this a positive place for my girls to learn all about dance!
