Native Rituals is an impeccably clean and well run establishment. I’ve been pierced here several times, and will only trust the crew here to pierce me. Ali and company explain the process, jewelry, pricing, and healing in detail each and every time. If I have any questions after my appointment, I receive a quick and thorough answer (I make sure to email or message during hours of operation.) I’ve always felt at ease in such a clean space knowing everyone working there has gone above and beyond in their training and certification. I know the jewelry I’m having put in my body is of the highest quality, and, might I add, worth every single penny knowing the quality of jewelry as well as all of the extensive training and care put into every service. I refer all of my friends, family, and clients to NR.I can’t wait to walk back into the shop as soon as they are safe and open for business wherever that may be.

I was online googling places near me where I can get my nose pierced. I came upon this place, the reviews were awesome, so I decided to give them a try. I made an appointment with Ali, based on her reviews, but honestly, they all had great reviews. The place was super clean, staff was awesome and friendly. The place had a nice, chill vibe, which put me at ease. Ali was absolutely amazing. She was super knowledgeable and kind. I felt like I was talking to a friend. She explained how the procedure works and answered all my questions. The procedure was done in less than 5 seconds and was relatively painless. I definitely recommend Ali and Native Rituals.

Amazing shop! Ali, Caprice, Oscar, and everyone else are all very professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly nice! Jewelry selection is awesome and Ali is a wonderful piercer! I always feel comfortable and safe, never rushed, and every visit is a truly enjoyable experience!

Been going here for 13 years and every experience has been wonderful. Everyone in the shop is really friendly and helpful and they each have their own style. Most of my piercing were done here because theyre one of the few shops where piercers have APP certifications.

Pretty pricey. Their septum jewelry was over $200! They were really nice, clean and professional. Id probably go back for piercings. But, definitely not for jewelry.7/25/18 Thanks for replying NR. I did view many pieces, but was told all were over $200. Even the basic titanium horse shoe. The piece I was most interested in was titanium, not gold. And had no precious stones.

My experience at the shop was Great! Michael did my belly piercing and he was very nice and patient. The lady with the red hair at the front desk was also nice. If I want anything else done I will be coming back

I went to about 8-10 different tattoo shops to find somewhere I felt confident and comfortable as my last tattoo was while I was in North Carolina. I walked in and everyone was super friendly. I wanted my chest tattooed and Randy got right to work! Randy does an amazing job I will not go anywhere else!

I had a superior experience at Native Rituals! The shop is very neat and clean and the young lady at the front desk was very personable and informative. They have a very nice selection of jewelry. I went to Native Rituals for a nose piercing after talking to a number of people who had their piercings done there. Admittedly, I was terrified of what I was in for, but I tell you that Mike, my piercer, is top notch. He is patient, professional, and has a very calm demeanor. Mike immediately put me at ease by giving me some background on himself and how long hed been piercing. After he applied the antiseptic to my nose, he told me to take a deep breath and seconds later (literally) he was done! The process went so smoothly and painlessly that I really didnt know he had pierced me. If youre contemplating a piercing, Mike at Native Rituals is your man!

Took my daughter for a piercing lady at front desk was so unprofessional. Asked her questions about studs and nose rings she was not able to answer my questions. Walked out and went down to a tattoo shop in Crestwood. They not only answered my questions but gave my daughter an extra stud free. And we ended going back for my piercings for her. Never again would I go to Native Rituals.

Lucky to have such a well managed, clean tattoo shop so close to home.

First time at Native Rituals getting a belly button piercing. Super friendly staff! Everyone made me feel comfortable. Decently fair prices. I am so happy I came here and will only come here from now on! Incredible. The only problem I had was finding the place because the sign was located across the street from the store. Great piercer! Today is my birthday and me and my best friend went to try to get piercings. The place was very clean, the staff was very friendly, very helpful!!! The reason for the one star is the pricing. My nose piercing was priced at $73.50 and my best friends ear piercings was priced at $127.50.....yeah we walked clean out. Its a shame that in Illinois piercings cost that dang much!! That is complete highway robbery!!!!!! I will never pay that much for that! If it was more affordable I would have gotten it done. Such a shame!

Extremely clean place. Their decor definitely makes it a fun place to get pierced or tattooed. Ive been tattooed by almost all the artist there. Each one has their tattoo specialty and are very respectful to customers. They have house rules so respect them.

Love this shop! its really clean, the staff is very nice. I went here and got my very first tattoo from Jimmy. He was hilarious and made me feel comfortable because my tattoo was on my calf and pretty big and for not knowing what to expect I was a little nervous. He was great, the atmosphere in the shop was awesome and everybody was very knowledgeable. I already have an appointment to go back to Jimmy to start a half sleeve! Cant wait :-)

Ive been here once to get my friends nose pierced and once to get my cartilage pierced, and both times were great. Ali was so nice and helped me despite my horrible indecision (literally took 45 minutes go decide which earring I should get). I would definitely recommend this place!!!

This is a long review, but I wanted to post this especially for those getting pierced for the first time.I visited Native Rituals three days ago to get my nose pierced. I was super nervous because Ive only had my ears pierced and that was decades ago. I called the shop ahead of time to see if they would take walk-ins. The woman who answered the phone was super friendly and told me to come in whenever I was ready.I came into the shop a few hours later and was greeted immediately by Oscar. I told him about my nerves and he was extremely patient with me. He walked me through the process and helped me pick out my jewelry. He quickly provided me with an upfront price and proceeded to prepare my electronic paper work that explained everything.He went back to get everything ready and sterilized, giving me a chance to check out the shop. Everything is really beautiful and super clean. There was a relaxing video playing on the big screen that I thought was such a nice touch for those who may be a bit scared. There was music playing in the tattoo area and each artist was talking calmly and cordially to their clients.It didn’t take long before Oscar was ready for me. For piercings you get a private, very clean room with a cushioned table to lay back on. Oscar was great! I honestly can’t say enough about how kind, calming and professional he was.It’s also super weird that the piercing hurt nowhere near as much as I had anticipated! There was barely even ANY pain and was over super-fast. My care instructions were emailed to me, which was extremely helpful.The piercing was sore for about an hour, then after that, it was like it wasn’t even there. I’ve been following the care instructions and already it feels like I’ve always had this thing in. I know it’s different for everyone, but so far I’ve had no redness, no swelling and no residual pain whatsoever.If you are thinking about getting anything pierced, I would 100% recommend Oscar.I plan on visiting again in 4-6 weeks to have my healing process checked and will update my review accordingly.Week 5 Update: I went to have my jewelry changed last week. The process was done by Mike this time as Oscar was not working that day. Mike was also very nice and the reception staff was as amazing as the first time. He was able to change the stud without removing the backing. It felt weird, but didnt hurt. He also took a look at the piercing and said it was healing well.I still have not had any pain at all and was even able to make it through a cold successfully. There has been no “piercing bump” outside or inside of my nose (I read about these and assumed it happened to everyone… it doesn’t) and no infection whatsoever. The piercing is able to move freely and there has still been no swelling.I plan to go back to see Oscar next week just to check things out. However, its been over a month and I would still 10/10 recommend Native Rituals.

Very happy with the knowledge they have here. They take there time with each person to ensure that you understand what and how things work, showing you every step of their sanitzing procedures. Will be back for additional work down the road.

From Allie, to Mike, to Oscar (all piercers) they are great people, and Chris is new at front counter, very nice young man. All very patient, knowledgeable. I have and will continue to refer others to them. Mike did most of my piercings, Oscar some. Allie has helped me pick jewelry for my daith, travis, forward helix, conch, and another young lady with red hair, I dont know her name 😑 but they are awesome equally.

Went in on 3-10-2019. The receptionist was very nice. I told her what I wanted and she offered me a seat and went in the back to get a tattoo artist. What she told him when she went in the back I dont know. He came out about 15 minutes later. He was NASTY looking and I felt some trepidation about him working on me. He had dirty clothes on and not only that his finger nails were filthy and his teeth were loaded with plaque. When he first started speaking with me you could tell he did not want to be bothered. That told me that what the receptionist told him was probably semi-nefarious. I told him I want My 3 Sons just below my neck at the top of my back. He told me it would be $200. I told him for 3 words? He says there is a $100 minimum. So why would it not be $100? Im going to assume he was trying to get rid of me because I was not getting a costly tattoo and not because I am black. I have other tattoos and I did not pay $200 for a single one. I dont recommend this place at all.

Fantastic work both from paul and dav. Reasonable prices for quality work. Also i liked the way they suggest ideas in addition to your own to make your tattoo as unique as possible. Definitely worth every penny.

I couldnt look past the the first point of contact. Customer service means everything to me especially when spending my money. The young lady at the desk was very sarcastic and condescending. That may work for some but not me. In fact, Its kind of disrespectful. I took my money to another shop with good customer service as well as artists.

Dahveed was my tattoo artist for my first tattoo and he was awesome as person an artist. They all treat you like a friend and are reasonable for pricing, with an overall friendly atmosphere.
