Helpful but no stock. The people in this store are so helpful. They will stop and try to help you find an item in a heartbeat. I dont mean tell you the aisle number and describe where the item should be I mean actually walk you to the spot and pick up the item and ask if they can help you find something else. This is not the case in all of this chains stores. I just hate that they never have most of the stuff in stock that I am looking for. If they could get their stock levels up to my standards I would easily ride past the other stores that are closer to me so I can get the service that I want. What else would make me shop there more exclusive discounts just for me based on my purchasing history.

This Home depot is great for finding your home improvement needs, but customer service is hit or miss. Today, it was miss. The young woman at the Customer Service counter was disinterested in providing help, failed to respond to good morning, and rushed me alone. All of this after one of those big pep meetings that they have in the middle of the store!

The store was well organized & clean, I went in for chimes for my Ring doorbell system. Upon checking out Joy was very helpful and suggested applying for the Home Depot credit card. The whole process took less than 3 minutes before I was approved. Joy was awesome and her personality displays genuine customer service.

This store is very well kept. I was looking for a washing machine and the sales people in that department were busy with other customers, but they assured me they would be right with me. They took care of what I wanted and secured and delivery date for me. The only thing I didnt like was they only give you two days to try out your appliance and get back to them off theres anything wrong with it. I feel they should at least give you a week.

Home Depot is unorganized in my opinion. Many people live and die by this place. I wont knock what works for someone else, but this place just doesnt do it for me. Just my own personal opinion; not my preference.

Picked up a gallon of the whitest white paint available, Behr# PR-W15 ULTRA PURE WHITE

I needed keys copied, a mailbox lock, felt pads and grill cleaner. Guess who had it all??? Home Depot FTW

Love this location. The associates ask you if you are finding what you need and are very accessible for questions and product information. I am closer to two other Home Depot locations, but travel to this one because of the outstanding customer service. Kudos to Gus and Ms. Shirleen, who were the superstars on this visit.

I want to thank Mr. Willie for helping me last winter (several times) over the phone when I was having issues using my new snow blower. He was SO patient and nice. I bumped into him today while he was helping my friend load mulch into her car. He was with another gentleman named Felipe. Both men were super nice and helpful! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

They have everything you could ever want or need......except FIND AN EMPLOYEE!!! SO MANY ORANGE VESTs, BUT NEVER an employee that WORKs IN the DEPARTMENT YOU FIND THEM...LOL...This is a great second job!! You can hide in plain site!

Not all Home Depots are created equal. Well staffed with knowledgeable helpful people. They approached me asking if I needed help.Also well staffed at checkout.Needed to return something and it couldnt have been smoother.

My husband and I went there to look at Wall Double Ovens, and to look for a Contractor for Installations. We were greeted by Don of the Appliances Department, he was very knowledgeable and helpful to us. He was also pleasant. We were pleased with his Service to us. I had the worst customer service by a young lady named Kimberly. When she couldnt help me I asked for a supervisor. His name was Mike. He couldnt help me because he claimed there was nothing he could do after a ticket was closed. (Which I know is not true). So I called The home depot headquarters and they actually handled the issue. The issue was handled FROM ANOTHER STATE. Do better on how your employees treat your customers The home depot!!!! Seriously

Spent less than 15 minutes to get paint and a few other items...not many people and helpful, courteous staff.

My wife and shop here frequently. Easy to find items. Service is always available when needed. Vast assortment of items to choose from. We love doing gardening and other home projects. Prices are fair compared to Lowe’s and ACE Hardware other local competitors.

This place is the best. Me an my brother take a 5 mile walk each day an we come in here to walk around to shop, view new items an chit chat with the friend staff here. We then find our selves buying stuff we dont need. But we love the store an the friendly folks here. The security guards are noce, never judgemental an professional. Best HD Ive been too in a long time. I not only found someone to help me but they actually new what they were doing! Jay you rock! And then a wonderful person checked me out. Mary you rock! Give them a raise and a day off! Sadly this is not my local HD so I will continue to get Mediocre Service from my local home depot in Glenview

I went in the store looking for a power saw asked and employee for help she did not help me and told me to go look for it myself. I also asked her if she could cut some wood for me she said that the wood I wanted to be cut could not be cut diagonally. This girl literally was the most unhelpful person I just wanted to find what I needed and get out why did it have to be so difficult please do better I dont want other people to have this experience I have been to other home depots before and never had this problem.

Finding what I was looking for along with clear signage labels just needed to look up. Very neat aisles.

I picked out 3 appliances (fridge, range, microwave) online that the website said were available in the Oak Lawn store. I called the store for assistance purchasing and was put on hold repeatedly for 25+ minutes. Never even got to speak to someone in appliances. Then the store closed. I would have been such an easy sale, all ready to go knowing exactly what I want.

Staff were on their cellphones and in deep face to face conversations. I felt like I was intruding asking questions. I stood at the key making counter for 30mins after requesting assistance before asking for a supervisor. The supervisor said nothing about the staff he witnessed on their cellphones. My point is, staff should acknowledge customers, they dont even look up. Manager said they were probably on emergency calls. Lol, what could I say after that...

Good store has everything for home improvement. Just wish some employees new more or would get someone that new more about an item if they dont

Pretty big store. Great customer service. Dealt with it a lot past couple weeks as bought a house. Had an issue where the grill didnt fit in my SUV, barely. One of the associates, Helped me return the grill and got me a box to assemble at home, which didn’t know as an option as they had assembled in the front. Anyway, saved me a lot of time. Went above and beyond.

I liked the fact that it was open at 0600 so that I can pick items up after I get off work. Self checkout with divers was pretty neat. They also have curbside delivery as well.

John is Hardware Depot went above and beyond for the Husky Rolling Tool Cart I was looking for. Not only was he able to find it right away with only me giving him the price it cost. But when I said I was on my way to pick it up. He already had an electronic order picker ready next to the item to get it ready for me to pick up. Most Definitely 👍 a GREAT EXAMPLE OF OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE 💯! This made my shopping experience more pleasant than the competitors to The Home Depot!

What’s the point of providing free masks and the HUGE mask required signs at the entries/exits if it isn’t being reinforced? Everywhere around the store employees can be seen either maskless, masks on chin, or not even worn properly having their nose exposed. Just putting others at risk same by allowing customers to come in and shop around mask less

Today getting customer service to help was awful at best. Normally this store is good with order ahead or ship to store pick ups.

The men in that store need to get their game together. 3 men either send me to the wrong isle or didnt know what I was talking about. One young lady noticed I had walked pass her a couple of time asked if I needed help. I showed her a pic of the product I was looking for and she directed me to where it should have been. I looked and didnt find it and went back to her. She immediately stop stocking and ask me to follow her. She went to the same place she directed me to and was amazed it was there. She ask another employee ( Young lady ) what happen to all of the fogger. They went like hot cakes stated the the 2nd lady. After a minute of conversation the 2 of them started pushing a ladder to go up on top of a storage shelf and bring 5 down. I say great job!
