Hi my name is Lisa Jackson and my Husband and I visited Huck Finn Restaurant for Breakfast on Sun 6/6 . I was greeted by a young lady she said that if we take a booth it will be 25 minutes but instead she worked it out thank God . we sat at the bar even though we sat at the bar it was still even better. As we sat at the bar we was greeted by a young lady name Tammy very Pleasant & kind with patients she wasnt rushing my Husband and my self when she was taking order because she saw that the restaurant was full. When Tammy bought out the food it was Hot the French toast was out of sight the grit was on point....... yeeeeesssssss to the pancakes Thank you Miss Tammy your service was well pleased

Food was great..fried catfish and fried chicken...with all the vittles you can eat..vittles=beans and ham,hush puppies,pickles and onions and coleslaw...great service..would def go back..

Ive been coming here for years with my family. Nice diner. I recommend coming here for any occasion. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dates, gatherings. They have a few locations. I love coming to this one and the one on 105th and Cicero in Oak Lawn. The service is great. The food is delicious! Their cream of chicken is delicious . They only have it on selected days. Ive always had a great experience. It is open 24/7. The atmosphere always feels great and welcomed. They have huge donuts! The pastries are delicious too

I ordered a BLT with chicken and dumpling soup. I really enjoyed the BLT and the soup was acceptable. 🙃 The place was overly crowded, which I consider a good sign, but with COVID, not so much. What made the experience so great was the huge donut. It was fresh and worth the wait!

I got a turkey croissant and chili. Both were great!! Other members of my family got breakfast meals and they were big enough to split. And we got a 6 pack of donuts too. All good

This is the quintessential Greek restaurant that I miss most since leaving the Chicago area. The service from Angie was excellent. The biscuits and gravy were better than I expected. The eggs were a little undercooked but tasty. The three sausage patties were delicious but dry. The 2 dozen donuts taken to the customer were thoroughly enjoyed. The menu is large and varied.

I grew up in McKinley park and went to the one off of archer for most of my life. Then I moved to midway about 10 years ago and am so happy to have this one down the street.Great diner food, good service, and gives me a feeling of nostalgia. Plus the soup and bread is so good. So long as Huck Finn is open, I’ll be coming back :)

I visited 3 times and loved it!! The service is always great doesnt matter if they are busy. I been in the middle of the night and Sunday morning and every time I got the same good quality service.

As always it was amazing. Some of the best biscuits and gravy in the Chicagoland area. Coffee was a little water but the food was not. Although the hash browns came out almost cold. They were still good

Horrible, if I can give this place a 0 star I would. I order 4 scramble eggs and they gave me this...They claim this is 4 scramble eggs. I call and ask them about it and said that is not our problem, deal with it with Doordash- When in reality Doordash is only a delivery company. The way they handle paying customers is very poor.

Huck Finns restaurants have been my favorite go to place to take my clients after a long business meeting, to discuss their thoughts and plans. Because their service and menu will fit any taste buds and nearly any culture.

Breakfast was mediocre. Expect a wait time due to covid-19 restrictions and safety precautions. Donuts were also a solid 3 out of a 5 star rating.

The ladies on the registers/on phone taking call order are very rude. They dont let you finish saying your order, cutting you off so rudely to get you off the phone. Owner really needs to hire better people who are nice with great customer service experience that welcome people not make them feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.

The food was great and my waiter was wonderful.

My bf and I were visiting from out of town and stopped here for breakfast. I recommend the chorizo skillet, really flavorful. That said, the donut selection (and size) is what caught my eye. Plus it seemed locals ate here and they were consistantly busy the entire time we were there.

Good comfort food at reasonable prices. Open 24 hours. Tried a cup of chilli for an appetizer. It was good and they dont skimp on the cheese. Had the philly chicken pita. The chicken was cooked perfect. All white meat and very juicy. The onions and peppers had the right amount of char on them.

Very tasty breakfasts, served 24 hours a day, good service, great donuts. Easy to park. Hamburgers and dinner options are good also.

Food is great but the main star are the donuts! The donuts are simply amazing as well as the price. Not too expensive but yet not too cheap. Their Texas donuts is amazing!

My Auntee Gail and Uncle Pete took my sister Tamo and I there for lunch. The service was out of this world and the food was fantastic. We were treated like royalty. A great place to visit.

This is still my favorite place to eat home cooked meals. same owners since the dinosaurs roam the earth...lol. Great food Friday is pot roast dinner or sandwich and its so good perfect with their specialty sauce on a fresh french roll with cheddar cheese and pickles,omg the best meal ever.

Typical diner food, nothing to write home about. NO staff wore masks and no social distancing of guests. Omelet was underwhelming and a bit overcooked, hashbrowns were overcooked aswell.
