The staff at this one wasnt very friendly or helpful.

I’ve been shopping at this location for years. Well, the last 4-5 months the hair dye I’ve bought for you years has been out of stock.Every time I ask them about it they say “well we get shipments every Tuesday and they sell out”. If you have a product that you know is popular you should keep more in stock don’t you think? Now I have to go to turkey creek any time I need my dye. It’s ridiculous that they don’t keep popular products in stock or order larger inventory’s. How does this place make any money with no inventory.

Awful experience with management, the old lady just tried to hurt my special needs 4 year old. Please dont give these folks your business when the Ulta down the road has wonderful customer service & products. Tan old lady manager who is skinny with dyed brown hair/ with reddish-blonde highlights was agitated with my special needs 4 year old at check out and tried to shut her hand up in a box that her personal stuffed animal had fallen into- the box didnt have anything harmful in it, just extra check-out bags so there was no way she was trying to save her. This lady really tried to hurt my kid today, I cannot stress that enough. My kid is fine, just scratched and she didnt cry out but it was so unsettling I feel like I should almost call the cops in case she tries to sneaky hurt another kid! The lady was extremely rude before we checked out and gave me a hard time about my return, even though I had just called the store to make sure I could come in. She called my returned product contaminated which was unnecessary and offensive. Worst experiencerience Ive ever had in a retail store.

This store has a very poor selection in all that Sallys Beauty Supply usually has to offer. I have gone in so many times and tried to buy the 70 pack of double-sided replacement extension tape and been told they didnt have that kind but had the top-pix kind, which is the roll of tape kind. Today, I asked an associate if they had any of this very common product and she told me again, they only had the roll kind which is typically for toupees or wigs. I asked when they were going to get some in and she told me that they stopped carrying the packaged kind. I didnt think that sounded right so I asked if this was a company wide thing. I told her I had gone to the Alcoa location about a week ago and purchased the 70 pack kind and that they had plenty in stock there. She again assured me that the company itself had stopped carrying the product. I asked if there was anywhere else she knew to get it and she told me Kings Beauty Supply in Knoxville. I still was not satisfied with this answer, so, I called the Alcoa location. The Alcoa associate on the phone told me that they did in fact have plenty of the kind I wanted in-stock and that furthermore it is their best selling tape for tape-in extensions. I asked her if they were going to stop carrying this product to which she replied that they Definitely would not do that since it is so highly sold. I guess I will always have to go to the Alcoa store to buy plenty of this tape, which is fine. I just dont like when associates arent more able to help and maybe even offer to call another location and inquire if they had any. The fact the associate at the Oak Ridge location told me that company wide they were stopping carrying this product really disturbs me. I always wear tape-in extensions and dont want to have to order it online and wait for it to arrive if I can go down the road and purchase it at a great price right then. Truly disappointing that she led me to believe that they were dropping the product all together. She could of easily said that they were just out of stock or that their location was discontinuing to carry it but other stores did. If your going to ask if I need help then dont just blow me off when cant help me find the product Im looking for. Please take a little second extra to help me figure out why you dont truly have it and where I could find it. Still buy other products there but disappointed that I was told such a lie.
