New management is fantastic! He went above and beyond to help me find the cord I needed for my equipment. Almost every employee greeted me as a walked past and for a retail supply store of this size thats hard to come by. Definitely recommend shopping with oak ridge staples.
Allowed me to print my OSHA-30 Certificate on high quality gloss paper for framing and gave me a extra copy completely free of charge for my employer to document.The workers stationed at the printing station seem polite, tech-wise, and are assistive. The store also seems to be finely organized for the mostpart and the prices are reasonable for office needs at any moments notice.
This Staples location has gone EXTREMELY downhill recently.The new management doesnt know how to manage or keep people who actually know how to do their job and do it effectively. The new girly girls in the copy center seem to like talking and gossiping with other staff more so than they like helping people in their assigned duties. The boy supervisor who was there knew what he was doing and produced exceptional work. I never had issues with asking him for help. However, the newer staff doesnt know what they are doing and there is always an issue. I went in today and was told that they would have to outsource a simple print that the former supervisor would get done in a few hours. Its crazy! I mentioned that the other guy would do it no problem and was rudely told he doesnt work here any more.Its sad that a company cant keep their valuable employees whove been their for years, especially in a time when good TRAINED staff are in need. I fear this location only has a few months left anyway.I hope Oak Ridge gets a Kinkos or other another copy center. Otherwise, I know more and more people will drive to Knoxville for their copy services.

The people that work in the work shop area wont help you with anything. They always give an excuss to get out of ihelping a custome. Dont bother a waste time.

The worst worst experience I have ever experienced in my whole life!! Even worse to my two year old who was playing!! Asking her to put the things she was playing with back in a very rude way, I mean how do you talk to a toddler the way the guy at staples did!! He kept going on about how he was tired of people like me not controlling our children!! (Yes I understand when you turn around for a second you don’t know what the little one will get into and of course as the parent you go after them and make sure they don’t destroy anything) I also asked him a question about a water mark on a paper and told me it was ilegal in a way as if I was asking him to do an awful thing (it was just a question)!!! I spoke to the manager and he said he would talk to him, but it’s obvious he didn’t care!! Employees like that are the ones who make customers never come back!! Definitely shop local you might spend a few extra $ but you will never experience such attitude such ugliness towards another human being, specially a 2 year old!! Specially as a parent to have your child spoken in such way by a complete stranger!! Over all shop local help the businesses in your community not this big companies that only take your money and think it’s okay to treat you horribly!! If you need something printed visit Precision Printing and Graphics!!! Even Knoxville will give you better options, even amazon to order your supplies but stay away from Staples and their horrid customer services!!

Nice gentlemen helped us find a printer cartridge. We also found some Really Useful Boxes, thats the brand name and they will be, also some Post-it Tape, so cool. I just love Staples.
I love our oak ridge Staples! The employees are always friendly, the store is always clean and its organized, spacious aisles and products are all priced and labeled nicely. The print marketing service is what i use most. I always email in what i need, tell them a time to have it ready by and its in and put quickly to get it. They always have it ready for me. I think some things are a little bit too highly priced but thats not the store itself fault and i just dont buy those things there. The Staples rewards program is great and i have gotten some great savings such as a fresher cleaning product up to 5 dollars and 7 dollars off of 10 dollars to name a few so even shopping there occasionally its worth signing up. This is a good staples store and one worth going to visit
This place is horrible. Feels like it hasn’t been updated in a decade.Bought a laptop last year from Oak Ridge Staples and it was so slow I found an older used laptop on on eBay that’s was 10X faster and $150 cheaper!! Staples laptop was returned.Then I go into staples to buy an iPhone X case. All of their cases are in anti-theft security plastic boxes. I go to cashier to see if they can take case out of theft box so I can get a better feel for the case. I had to agree to strip search and lie detector test just to see phone cases closer. Who wants to buy a iPhone case without trying it out first? I went next door to Verizon store and they had no problem with taking any case I wanted out so I could try it on my phone before I purchased. Trust me, shop at staples soon because you will miss your chance if you don’t. I guarantee the oak ridge store will go out of business before 2020.
The young man in printing area was very helpful. I did not have a car design n he walked me through it in bout 2 minutes...it would have taken me much longer. Then printed cards inlesd than an hour. Very helpful and professional young man.

Jordans customer service stood out! The item that we were looking for was out of stock, and not available at any nearby locations. I know this because he checked in the inventory system. We found a substitute that was not on the shelves. Jordan went to the back to locate what we needed. Pleasant shopping experience all around.
I went to the store to purchase a big and tall office chair, I noticed they has two in stock at the store. After waiting 10 minutes someone finally asked if I need help. I asked for big and tall office chairs, their was one on the floor. I was informed that unless I knew the name of the chair or the stock number, He could not help me. They suggested I go home and order the chair online come back and pick it up. Went to Office Max in Turkey Creek, got a great chair, at a great price and very friendly staff. Worth the drive.
TERRIBLE and RUDE personnel. Female employee was so rude and refused to let me speak to the manager who I could hear through the phone. Finally, agreed but put me on a 5 minute hold just to hang up on me. When the corporate office called, they would not answer the phone. Then after getting through after a long period of time corporate employee was told manager was not in. They are awful. Shop anywhere but at this store.

Earlier this year (about two months or so ago) I brought into your store in Oak Ridge, TN, 10 ink cartridges. I awaited a coupon and did not receive one. I contacted the rewards center and they made an enquiry and found that I had not spent the required 30 dollars on ink products as was implemented in March of this year. I informed him that I didnt know of this and would adhere to it in the future. He assured me that he would get me the coupon expeditiously. I didnt receive it. I went to the Oak Ridge Store and was ready to purchase the required 30 dollars in ink products so I could get the coupon e-mailed to me (I figured that was the problem). I was told by the store that you had to purchase the ink products FIRST and then turn in old cartridges to get the rewards.This just seems to be another layer of confusion created for your advantage. I was willing to submit to the purchase last Saturday when I thought I had been in the wrong; and then this...I am retired military with a second career with Department of Energy and do have assets to spend. At this point I wont even consider future expenditures at ANY Staples store and will go out of my was to find another dealer.Doubt this will get posted anywhere, but it did give me a chance to vent. My experience with Staples stunk today. I bought 2 reams of paper and did not notice that a rebate was associated with them . After spending too much time on the computer trying to fill out the questionnaire, the staples page kept rejecting my applications without explaining what was wrong. I finally called on the phone and the employee was very helpful, took all my data and apologized for my problems. He told me I would receive my $8 rebate in 4-6 weeks. This experience I DO NOT CALL EASY

They do not properly tell you that they use a 3rd party for warranties or that you have to call the 3rd party to set things up. Never buying anything ever again from any staples because of bad business practices.
I went in yesterday to purchase a Nexus 7 tablet (they had 3 in stock). When I asked about their holiday return policy I was told that if I purchased it on or after black friday I would have 14 days from Christmas day otherwise 14 days only. I asked about buying one now and returning after black friday the manager said that I could not purchase the one I returned. I asked if there was anything they could do to help. He said Sorry 14 days only His condescending attitude and lack of concern with customer service made me leave without wanting to return. How refreshing it was later that evening to go to walmart and find out that their holiday return policy started November 1st and they gave me no grief whatsoever. When I purchased the nexus 7 from them the employee even called returns to confirm their policy and gave me a gift receipt .
