I havent been to Big Lots in a long time. I went looking for fall decorations for my dining room. I loved the table cloth and place mats & I got a beautiful center piece with candles for the table it looks great! The store itself looks much cleaner and bigger even with a lot of furniture.

I really enjoyed my experience at the store. The staff was very helpful and very friendly and welcoming. The girl that was working the cash register today was telling everybody Welcome to Big Lots as they walked in the door. Any question I had was answered promptly. The selection of things they had at this location was excellent. I went in there for one thing and walked out with $100 worth of merchandise.

Picked out and bought a living room set here and when we came to pick it up we were informed they sold a piece of it. How do you sell a part of a set someone else had paid for and going to pick up? Huge disappointment!

I will start off by saying it looks much nicer in there since the remodel. Prior to it the store looked dirty and old but now it looks fresh, clean and more modern on the inside. Its laid out nicer and seems more spacious. It markets as a discount store but I find it kind of expensive for being discount. I can get the equivalent at a regular store for the same price or cheaper sometimes so I rarely waste my time going into big lots. We have bought furniture there in the past and it has stood the test of time. I cant race about the furniture enough. I was hesitant at first but its impressed me with the quality. Make sure you have plenty of time to commit to actually buying your items. Ive walked out plenty of times because I wasnt standing in line for one item behind lots of people. Rarely they might open a second register. Oh with the big lots reward card you sometimes get cool offers emailed to you so that would be the other perk. Thats why it got a middle rating because I do like a few things about the store and really dislike a few other things

They sell a variety of items from housewares to groceries to tools to toys. Something for every room in the house.

Its not a discount as they say it is.

Great deals. I couldnt believe how they have made some wonderful changes the store was very very clean and no clutter sitting in buggies everywhere. Great Job BigLots!!!

Has upgraded to like a Target but smaller. Products are not as discounted and prices have gone up significantly but if you prefer shopping without a crowd and know some things youre looking for they may not have then its a good place to shop.

I HAD A GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE. MY BIRTHDAY IS ON TUES/ JAN 29TH, SO I WANTED TO GET MYSELF 2 DECORATIVE PILLOWS FOR MY BED. I FOUND ONES I REALLY LIKE AND I AM PLEASED. BIG LOTS HAS NICE HOME DECOR AND I LOOK FORWARD TO MY NEXT VISIT.

So many discounted prices and the service was excellent. People helped me when I was looking for certain items and they helped me. Store is very clean and isles were opened and not blocked by boxes or things not properly put away. This is is a great place to shop and also window shopping for upcoming holiday shopping

They are definitely not the same store they started out as. Theyre getting more expensive than Walmart. You might find a good deal if you look hard enough.

The one in Oakridge has really went down hill. They use to have a great variety of toys and household items. But now almost half of the store is FURNITURE. Using a part of the store for furniture is fine. But NOT just about half of it. Before you never knew what kind of different things they had (that other stores around here dont).

Well the salesman was extremely helpful and was very knowledgeable....he is an older gentleman in the furniture section.

Very nice ! And the associate was very helpful and fast, pick up order was fast and efficient, helped with loading it on our trailer, also the associate helped me with bedsheets and comforter a very pleasant experience I will be going there again.

The Oak Ridge Big Lots staff are all super nice. I had an online coupon that was all fouled up, and Terry and Markell went above and beyond to figure it out and make it work for me.

This place has lots of unique types of foods not to be found in the usual stores. Plenty of other deals also.

Not half bad, but they could use a few w more open registers. I went during the middle of the day around 3pm(when most folks get off work) and there was only a single register open, despite the fact that there were about 8 carts full of items in line, and everyone wanted to tell the cashier about how their grandmother went into surgery, despite the customer having no clue who the cashier was.Tennessee locals are weird like that.Anywhoo, the store was okay.

Big lots has become a great furniture outlet complete with stacks of everything else around them. Looking for a good deal on furniture including bedding, go to your nearest Big Lots.

Remodeling changed this store from a junk store to a nice store loaded with furniture. Racking is now in the back of the store leaving a great sight line.
