Learn SCUBA with Paul was an amazing way to be introduced to this spectacular sport. Paul has years of experience both in diving and teaching and is a friendly person. I had no problem diving with him and enjoyed the diving he organized in both Key Largo and Ft. Lauderdale. In fact I plan on coming back to Paul again for my Advanced Open Water training in the winter. All his gear is for sale as he states but this gear is also very high quality, it was comfortable and in great condition and all for a reasonable price. You will not be disappointed with your diving experience if you choose Paul to be your instructor.

My daughter Sophia (10 years old) wanted to get certified, so I called around some dive shops in Miami, some Called back, some never did, but Paul got back to us immediately with detailed information, so we booked her open water with him.He may look young but very Responsible, Punctual and a great Diving InstructorPaul made diving such a joy for her that she followed along with the junior adventure diver program.Paul is fantastic, every dive was a different and great experience.We really enjoyed diving and learning with Paul, we look forward to diving with him again soon.

A great learning-to-dive experience! Just finished my diving certification today with Paul. We did our final 2 dives today, both wreck dives. I enjoyed his class and recommend it to my friends. Just finished my 3 day open water certification with instructor Paul today and it was a great experience !!I needed to get the course done in 3 consecutive days, rather than over the course of a week or 2 like most dive schools I looked at, and Paul was very accommodating and flexible to that.It was nice to have a one on one course with the instructor- he has a lot of experience, is very informative, all of my questions and concerns were addressed and by the 2nd ocean dive, I felt completely confident in my abilities.He had a great attitude, was very patient and encouraging with me as a newbie, and in all made the course fun and easy.If I have time to take the advanced course in Florida, it will definitely be with Paul.

I thoroughly enjoyed my three-day open water training class with Learn Scuba With Paul I signed up for the class and received clear instruction by email that told me what to bring and what needs to be prepared ahead of time, the time and direction to get to the pool, and so on. Very organized dive center.I had one instructor in our class (1 students in total): Paul. He was very experienced, matured, and knowledgeable diver, and you can certainly tell that he enjoys teaching for the love of the sport. Throughout the whole class,he was encouraging and very patient with us.As for the class structure: First, it is a very small class.Just to give you an idea about the schedule - the classroom portion takes 4.5 hours (including 5 quizzes and 1 final exam); the open water portion takes about 4 to 4.5 hours. After that you continue on to the third day in the ocean. After the class, I was absolutely exhausted as we were cold and tired by the end of the day, but we learned so much and it couldnt be done without Erik and Ryan.You get a referral letter at the end of the class for continuing learning ScubaOverall, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, I am planning to continue my education with Paul.

Paul was a fantastic instructor ! He took the time to explain the requirements before each dive and he flexed his schedule to meet my needs. Paul was very diligent when he ready my knowledge reviews from the Adventures in Diving book and took the time to review my answers and discuss them at the end of every knowledge review. Paul picked fantastic dive sites, I had no idea there was so much to see underwater in Ft Lauderdale and in Key Largo. I cant wait to do my Rescue Diver certification with Paul next year !

Both my brother and I were certified for open water diving by Paul this summer and we couldnt be happier. Paul works around your schedule and makes the learning process fun and gets you excited for diving. During the classroom session, he works at your pace and doesnt move on to a new lesson until you have fully grasped the previous one. During the confined water dives, he helps you master your skills and works as long on each skill as it takes for you to become comfortable with it. Just did an open water dive with him today and I can only say good things again. He makes sure youre comfortable on your first dive and makes it exciting and an unforgettable experience. If youre looking to get certified, I absolutely recommended using Paul. Neither my brother nor I had a single complaint throughout our entire certification process and will DEFINITELY use him as a guide for future dives.

Learning to scuba diving with Paul was great. He was a great instructor and not only taught properly but made it extremely fun and interesting. Id recommend getting certified to anyone, but also recommend getting certified with Paul

Paul is a very knowledgeable instructor and will focus and teach the class in a way where you take away the most important things. The video that he records on the day of the dive is amazing and he sends it to you the same day which is great!

I did my first DSD with Paul. It was a great experience. Paul made my feel comfortable and safe. It was fun and exciting and I really enjoyed. I am definitely contacting Learn to Scuba with Paul very soon to get my Open Water Certification. :)

I recently visited South Florida from Portland, Oregon. I was in need of a charter and a dive buddy. Unfortunately, most of the local dive shops wouldnt have me as Im a new diver and the only days I was available to dive was during mini lobster season. After calling around for a couple days with no luck, I stumbled upon Pauls site. He reserved a spot for us on the Sea Experience, working with my time constraints. Not only was he a fantastic guide, I also felt very safe with him on my first dives outside of certification. I wholeheartedly recommend Paul, and will definitely call him the next time Im in town.

Paul was the best! We came down to Ft Lauderdale just before a trip to the Bahamas. We still needed to get our Open Water dives in so we would be certified for our dive trip in the Bahamas. Since we only had 2 days in Ft Lauderdale, Paul made sure to rearrange his schedule to get our open water dives done in time. He was very patient, helpful, and fun! The days we went were very choppy and we ended up having to dive in a lake, which would have been not-so-fun if it wasnt for Pauls great attitude. I would highly recommend him for any SCUBA students. Paul did a great job in my advanced open water course. Hes always patient, professional, and prepared, and keeps everything calm and fun. Nothing bothers him. Pounding waves, puking newbies, BCDs with deflator issues? No problem. Just relax and SCUBA. And he knows the Fort Lauderdale dive sites like his condo. There are some great wrecks out there, and Paul knows the perfect way to dive and enjoy them. Whenever I take a diving course, I want an instructor whos a superb diver, flexible, patient, and professional. Paul exceeded all those expectations. Thats why he has my highest recommendation.
