City Furniture is always a great place to find good quality products with a great price, but what made my shopping experience even better was Camille, my sales associate. She was knowledgeable, gave me advice on designing my space, supplied information, gave me options, worked with my budget, and most importantly was not pushy or aggressive. I will be working with her as I finish furnishing the rest of my house.
The first person my husband and I met when we arrived at the store was Rebecca. She greeted us with a smile and patiently listened to what we needed, ( a recliner). She encouraged us to try out several until we found what we wanted. She was patient, knowledgeable, and did not push or rush us. We actually enjoyed the experience and ended up buying two recliners. Now we are waiting for the delivery, and hope everything goes well so we can call this an amazing experience. Thank you, Rebecca.

I have never did business with such a finely organized furniture company so organized and efficient . I went in on Thursday and ordered 17 pieces of furniture from chairs tables beds sofas and received 14 pieces of furniture the next day. Amazing service and the crew told me they would have all 14 pieces including my king size platform bed in my apartment within 45 minutes and they did . The crew was efficient and set up everything and cleaned up afterwords in an excellent job . I highly recommend this store and its customer service to everyone.Steve Polonsky

I open the umbrella to enjoy a sunny day. While sitting on the bench, a slight breeze would occasionally blow by, but nothing significant. I followed all the installation instructions, such as 200 lbs of all-purpose sand in the base. The umbrella tipped over during one of these light breezes onto the ground causing damage to one of the canopy arms and Almost hitting my dogs. Now I cant imagine using this product for the reason some will get hurt. What I find offensive is the City Furniture customer service denied my claim. I stated that I took all responsibility because City Furniture didnt set it up; they even tried to sell me a repair kit to find it didnt exist. Even after escalating the claim, I was denied once again but was emailed by the store manager. City Furniture doesnt care much about it customer after they delivered the merchandise. This is the second time I have had an issue with City Furniture. I will no longer take my business there, and I recommend you do the same.

I was all excited to buy new furniture. I ordered a living room set, dining room set and bedroom set. The selection was fun and the associate helped a lot. The furniture was all on back order for 1 month. I was willing to wait one month. But then the delivery came and I didn’t get all my furniture. It was backed ordered even longer. I was upset! Then the delivery I did receive I had multiple items damaged. The process to return and exchange is a nightmare. Then I had to go back to store to select something different because I just refused to wait for back order that I ordered in June and said would not be in stock until October. So the reselection could of been a lot more tolerable if the sales associate who was helping me would avoid helping others while attending to me. Customer service is horrible and Sales Associates are just money hungry because they get commision off of what you buy. What happened to the customer in front of you. The sales person must of answered the phone at least 4 times and is helping the customer on his computer all at the same time I am sitting in front of them waiting for their help. I could of been in and out as fast as he helped those on the phone if they would of finished with me first and then attend to other customers. I will never go here again!

Will not purchase another item from this store. We ordered a sleep sofa (canceled the remaining orders) and the two guys who showed up couldnt carry the sofa up the stairs stating the ceiling was too low. We asked that they lift it over the railing to take it up - they said they needed more people. We were told they would bring a 3rd person to help lift the sofa. They came back a few days later with 2 new guys that still couldnt handle the sofa. We paid for a white glove service and asked that if their people cant do the job then they need to come and take it. They are refusing to reimburse and also to come and pick up the sofa. Fair warning to anyone considering buying furniture. Look elsewhere.

What can I say? Too many accolades to list. The store is spotless and well designed. The inventory is magnificent, elegant and varied. The sales staff demonstrate a full understanding of their inventory. It’s both a private and pressure free interaction. New to the area, all my questions were answered all my apprehension was dissolved. The bedroom furniture I purchased today is perfect, as was the cost. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

My partner and I have been searching for outdoor furniture as we’re going through a complete yard renovation. After visiting about 8 different stores, we went into City Furniture on Federal Highway in Ft Lauderdale and met a salesperson called Thomas. He was very knowledgeable about the patio furniture and what he wasn’t sure of, he found out. He went above and beyond to make our first visit there a very great experience. We decided that one of the sets we saw was the one for us and made sure we went back the next day to meet with him specifically. He was very honest about the difficulties with getting product due to the pandemic and led us in the right direction. Very upset at the customer care provided by this location. I ordered a full bedroom set in February of this year and the dresser and 1 of the side tables came damaged. They offered me store credit for the side table which expired after 1 month so I couldnt even use that, would only offer an exchange for the dresser which they said was on back order until August, now I am hearing it is on back order until December, literally 10 months of having a piece of furniture I cannot even use. They refused to refund me and could not offer any other options, even after purchasing the 3 year warranty. Very disappointed.

City has a large selection of furniture in multiple styles, at least one of which would suit anyones taste. And most items are either in stock or available within a few weeks.I was assured by Jess who is very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend her to anyone shopping for furniture at a fair price.
I like the Tamarac location, simply because they seem to have a larger selection of current styles.

This delivery is beyond being a joke. It did rain for about 1/2 hour. This crew called me at approx. 9pm and told me they will be at my house shortly. I waited up until 11:30 pm. I tried calling the number that called earlier but it went directly to voicemail. For a delivery that was supposed to be made between 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm which never happened is unacceptable. I wrote to them DO NOT DELIVER WITHOUT A CALL TO ME. NOW I WANT THIS ORDER CANCELED AND COMPLETELY REFUNDED.
We ordered a couch for our living room.... we LOVE the couch but wanted to switch out a smaller piece for another larger one after delivery. We originally had some issues calling in to do this via the 1-800 number but our salesperson Susan was absolutely amazing in helping us to get it done. No questions asked she stepped right in and made it happen.... For such a large brand I assumed this exchange would be a nightmare but Susan made it super easy!

Purchase a bed from city furniture. Bed is on back order however the price and the quality of the bed is worth waiting for we’re looking forward to our delivery when it comes in. I understand a lot of things are on back order due to this damn damn man in the supply chains. City Furniture has kept us informed through the whole process.

Today I had the Pleasant experience of shopping at City Furniture Fort Lauderdale. Rose, the kind sales associate who would it turns out, have lots of patience for me, as I was really feeling the effects of lack of sleep from the night before from pinched nerve in my neck and was in and out of pain while I was there, was awesome!As a new person to Florida and a new homeowner Ive been under a lot of stress. But Rose was the greatest. I would recommend it to anybody to shop here they have lovely styles different for any person and the price was great!

I wish I would have gotten her last name but out sales person was Jess. She was just great. Not pushy just being of service. We ended up buying the floor model of a recliner and got a really great deal. When you buy floor model you can take it home yourself. Well we dropped the cord along the way out and had to go back looking for it. There were several sales people that looked around inside and out for us to help us find the cord. It was no where to be found. They helped us find a replacement on Amazon. I’m sure it was not a typical day for the sales team there but they were all great. Definitely a happy customer and would shop at City Furniture in a heartbeat

This store is clean and beautiful and has so much to offer. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because the sales person is very short and almost seems to rush you from the very start. And the after care service you pay $100 dollars for is AWFUL. It takes a while to get someone to your house and when they actually show up, the job isn’t done well. So yes I shopped here twice. And yes I may come back because the quality of city furniture is amazing. It’s just a shame they have such awful customer service 😒😒
We went in to City Furniture looking for a recliner. At the front desk we encountered Charlotte who was just fabulous throughout. We purchased a great recliner at a great price but our takeaway from this whole experience was Charlotte! She was incredibly knowledgeable, demonstrated superb interpersonal skills and couldn’t do enough to help us. My husband and I were seriously wowed by her. Such a rare thing to be overly impressed with customer service in current times but we sure were. Great place, huge selection of furniture at great prices - and Charlotte!! I highly recommend City Furniture.
My experience with City Furniture..Was ok Furniture delivered no problem but when the guys came to enter my home I noticed they were not wearing those covers for their shoes. Per the worker they only use them upon customers request. When delivery guys arrive at ANY customers home their shoes shld be COVERED..Other than that Im happy with my dinning room table.So to whom it may concern I have a delivery schedule for June 3rd and I would appreciate if the guys shoes are covered.Thank you,Freda Robinson

This place has very elegant furniture that’s extremely affordable, I had an issue with my recent order. It turns out that one of my pieces was not delivered. I was very frustrated, but the delivery guy Jovan went above and beyond to redelivery the missing item even making further accommodations to ease my troubles. Additionally, after complaining about the issue to a manager name Robert I was very very relieved he attempted to resolve my issues but it had already been resolved by Jovan. But the manager Robert was great to work with, he even provided a $150 credit towards my future order for all the troubles. If you have issues with your order this company is good about fixing it right away. It’s hard to get a hold of a manager but once you do they will go above and beyond for your satisfaction. Robert does value his customers, he’s a great manager and highly competent. I do recommend dealing with Robert if you have an issues.

My honest experience, Well let’s put it this way one of the screws literally fell off the bed so as nice and fast as the delivery was im scared that the bed is going to fall on the ground and considering I spent almost 6 thousand on the bed the box and the mattress I was very disappointed. and only at the end of the sale I was told I was not getting the added pillows and usual benefits they advertise like 300 dollars for add ons etc . So now I have to lift the mattress and make sure everything is tighten with no instructions cause they took all the manuals
Worse furniture I ever shopped. The sofa ripped all over in 3 months but wanted change it so I could sell so can buy different sofa but for more then a year still trying to get sofa. Delivery keep changing date more further months and they don’t even call you. Horrible customer service and furniture so cheap made

Illya at the Oakland Park store was terrific and made sure we had a good experience, checking for what was in stock at short notice even though we werent making a huge purchase.Wish wed found this option a bit earlier!
Came in the other day to buy a bed. Upon entering we were immediately belittled for what we thought we wanted in bedroom furniture. We almost felt scolded and put in a corner like school children because we obviously didn’t know what we were talking about when communicating the space we thought we needed for the new mattress we were searching for. Thankfully our business was well spent elsewhere.
I wish I could give this place and the whole of City Furniture negative stars. They are pretty nice and sweet when it comes to ordering stuff (hey thats where commissions are) but after that its all downhill. I would advice against doing business here.We ordered a bunch of furniture along with bases we needed for mattresses. I specifically asked for one of the bases to be delivered on a certain day, which was no problem.We are moving from the NE to FL and are currently in a hotel rental and had planned for deliveries on a certain day so we can be out of the hotel. They texted/emailed me the day before to ensure that someone was home for the delivery. They called me at 8.30am in the morning of the delivery to let me know they will be there in an hour. At the time of delivery, they call me to tell the thing that they were supposed to deliver is not on the truck. They cant deliver it today though they had promised. They couldnt even tell us WHEN they could deliver again. So now, we have to continue renting because the bedroom furniture and mattress is useless without the foundation.I asked to cancel the order so I can get the base from somewhere else. I spent 2 hours on the phone only for the sales rep at this location (sales has to cancel an order, for some weird reason, customer service can not) to hang up on me. I need to cancel so I can order elsewhere.This is the worst most frustrating experience I have ever had. I will NOT be doing business with City Furniture even if my life depended on it.Edit to respond the owners response below: Talked to sales to see what they could do and the response was basically:1. We cant get the truck to go back to the warehouse, even though the warehouse is half hour away (basically, we will F@#$ you and you should just bend over and take it)2. I asked to cancel to three different people (customer service, sales and their social account below) and no cancellation yet3. We have to continue to spend an additional $500 on hotel rentals and they will NOT comp us in any way. GREAT!So no Mr. Owner the issue is not resolved.
Worst communication, worst customer service Ive ever experienced. We ordered a high top table and two chairs from this location in October 2020. I understand furniture was back ordered because of COVID, that was no issue for us. We received our table in early December, it is absolutely beautiful.. only problem is the chairs were back ordered, again, I understand. The delivery date was pushed back until late December, then again for January 8... on that day We never received an email with a time frame for expected time. We called at 3pm and asked where the truck was, they said someone should have called you, one of the chairs were damaged and they canceled your order. Day was wasted. The next delivery was set for today, they deliver one chair. Called the store, asked for a manager and the phone was disconnected. Called customer service and they say the system showed one chair was delivered in January. Manager never spoke with me from customer service. Called the store and spoke with my sales person, she was helpful, but again no manager acknowledged the 4 month old problem. I called the store again to verify they didnt just blow off my problem like they have in the past, a manager answered the phone, but only introduced herself when she says she was sitting right beside my sales person when I spoke with her. The manager, Marcella, wanted no part of my situation or to speak with me. I simply wanted someone to take responsibility for their actions. They say they have to perform a warehouse check to make sure the chair wasnt delivered... so theyre pretty much indirectly calling me a liar. Sounds to me like the delivery person either took the chair home or checked it as delivered to keep things simple. 4 months and we still have a gorgeous, but useless table and chairs. She says the audit will take up to 72 hours, here is to hoping they stick to their word for once.

When you visit this location ask for Charlotte! Shes extremely helpful, knows the products and is very warm to work with. The first rep i had a few weeks ago was cold. I think her mistake was assuming i wasnt spending a lot of money and not treating me like a real customer. I came back today and canceled my original sofa. Upgraded to a more expensive one and added a desk and a dresser. If you make a customer feel valuable they will spend and remain loyal. Thanks Charlotte
I actually cannot believe what this company has put me through. I went into the store located in Fort Lauderdale in early February and was helped by a store associate Rose. I picked out a bed frame and headboard, nightstand, dresser, tv entertainment center and a painting. In total i spent a little over $4,000 and was told by Rose a few of the items are on back order I should receive them by mid to late March. I agreed and proceeded to swipe my credit card and pay for the furniture . A few weeks later my dresser and nightstand show up. As the end of March approaches I find out that the rest of the order is still going to be delayed and hopefully will have it in April. It is now the middle of May and I am missing almost all of my order. Customer service is a complete joke and blames the sales associate for not informing me. I try to contact Rose and she doesn’t get back to me. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a company and has completely ruined my move into my new apartment. Do not ever shop at this location or deal with an associate Rose she will lie to make a sale and leave you in a situation like I am now in.
In order to make a sale, the sale rep Jonathan Slaton Wilson told us they had a free delivery promotion, and that we just needed to put the chair together ourselves.Come the day of the delivery, my wife stays home from work to receive the chair, only to be called by the driver and be told that the free delivery is only to the first floor, and that they couldnt move it into the elevator and take 10 steps, to actually leave it by our door.Jonathan did not explain that to us. He was only worried about making the sale. When we called Jonathan, he simply backtracked acting like he had explained this, and took no responsibility. He even backtracked on the fact he told us that the assembly of the chair was simply to screw on the feet.When I arrived to my condo, to help my wife with it, I found the chair we ordered abandoned in front of the elevator.City Furniture should do a better job in training their sales people!

So I bought a couch at city furniture a couple years ago & purchased a warranty plan for it. I made a claim on it on April 28th & because of where we live they had to outsource the repair company. The repair company called me to schedule but they only come to our area once a month. I wasn’t able to be here for the May or June service so I called them a couple weeks ago to schedule for July. The repair company told me that city furniture closed my claim. So I called city furniture on 6/17 and was told they reopened the claim and to allow 24-48 hours. I still hadn’t heard anything by 6/22 so I called the repair company & they said they still haven’t received the new fax. So I called city furniture AGAIN and they told me they resent it and to allow another 24-48 hours but assured me that they stayed on the phone with the repair company until they confirmed they received the fax. So on 6/25 I called the repair company to see if they did actually receive the fax and they said they did not. So I called city furniture AGAIN and was told to wait another 24-48 hrs. On 6/25 I called City furniture again and the representative who went by the name of Will (who knows if she just gave me some bogus name) said she talked to the repair guy and he would be calling me between 6-8pm on 6/25 to schedule an appointment, Will also assured me that her sales manager would be calling to make sure the guy did get in contact with me. So now it’s 6/26 and I just spent an hour and a half on the phone with city furniture because the repair guy nor the sales manager called me last night. Today I was told that the “hold up” was because they needed better pictures of the damage (mind you, I already emailed them pictures when I submitted the claim on 4/28) so whatever, I sent them more pictures. The man on the phone told me that the fabric obviously cannot be repaired so they would just replace the piece. Then he tells me oh sorry we don’t deliver in that area so we can’t replace it but they can offer me a $300 city furniture gift card or $17 back from my home care plan. HAHAHA. Is that $300 or $17 going to buy me a new couch?So I went online to see if order a new couch from city furniture if I could add a protection plan on it and have it delivered to my address (where they don’t deliver) so basically I discovered that I can order a couch online from them AND add the protection plan, so I asked the guy on the phone how that works if they don’t do warranty replacements in my area. He basically told me that if I bought a new couch online from them and added the warranty and ended up wanting to use the warranty that at the time of the claim they would just refund my money since they don’t service my area. So what about someone who doesn’t live in their service area and orders a new couch with a warranty plan and they don’t end up using it, they basically paid for a warranty plan for no reason. Sounds like stealing to me🤷🏻♀️LOW QUAILITY FURNITURE THATS EXTREMELY OVERPRICEDCITY FURNITURE WILL NEVER HAVE MY BUSINESS AGAIN

Salesperson, Susan Spinello, was very helpful. I took a couple appointments to look at different bedroom sets and she was very patient. The delivery was right on time, they called 45-60 minutes before they arrived. They had everything set up and cleaned up in about an hour. Weve been getting a good nights sleep for a week now.
Visited City Furniture in Tamarac a couple times in December and finally decided, after looking at numerous bed frames on line and other places, to purchase the one we saw at City. Instead of going back out there we just called and got a customer service person named Margaret Fitzgerald. She was great. Ordered and paid over the phone. She scheduled delivery and when we called back to change the date it was no problem. Our delivery was seamless too. 3 guys showed up, one was expert furniture assembly guy, he was teaching another one, and they were so efficient. Couldn’t be happier.
Wow, I purchased a twin xl Beauty Rest Black mattress less then 3 years ago. It was sold to me with a Kevin Charles adjustable frame. Over the past few months the bed started to collapse in the middle. I slide off each side if I sit in the middle. The tech from City Furniture just came out and sent in his report. I received a call from City Furniture and they denied the claim ....its not even 3 yrs old.. wth. He said its general ware. I said I can sleep on a bed of nails or anywhere, so its not my back etc. Needless to say I will not be buying anything at that store again. I will write to BeautyRest as well. Very disappointed. What a waste of money!! Help Me Howard, Action Lines etc will also get my call!!😡
The sales person Juliana was wonderful and very helpful. Not only was it a great sales experience, but she also helped with a tricky delivery schedule. Overall we were very happy with the experience.
