-- update 3/10 --The second tub they ordered to replace the first one they recommended was also wrong. We confirmed 2 times with them in writing so that it didnt get lost of misunderstood that it needed to be on the left side. A tub was delivered with it on the right side. They also delivered incomplete linear drain kits causing us to put a total hold on the bathrooms because these have to be installed before they can tile. We also lost a day of work for all the contracts we had on site to do the work. When asked them to provide some kind of a discount for the additional delays they said their suppliers dont do that.I came up with the solution of replacing the drain parts with parts from another kit so the team could move forward. They agreed and in 2 days we were able to start the job back up. The tub is still not here and they expect yet another week long delay with no gesture for our patience.Lastly, in an email exchange with the VP Ken Avery of the store, he ends the exchange with a threat to sue me for my review. He ends the email with Please remove the negative reviews or we will be faced to take further action. I add this in to warn potential customers that if you decide to use Jack London Kitchen and Bath, you have been warned that leaving a truthful review may end up in with the threat of litigation in addition to dealing with their fulfillment inadequacies.Ive included a screenshot of the entire email with Ken Avery so that you can see the type of customer care I received from what seems to be the most Sr member of their leadership team. I for one would never buy from this company again!-- update 3/10 --Great selection but horrendous service and infrastructure. The person that helped us was helpful. She has a great handle of what was available and what would work well within our space. So Id give 5 stars to all presales. When you order however expect delays, damage to the products and horrendous service after the fact.To start we ordered a tub by giving them the measurements of the bath room. They ordered the wrong size so we had the delay of having to wait for a second tub and the cost of buying two tubs because they dont take back tubs. So now we have an extra tub thats small if anyone wants it. The deliver of the tub was even worse. The delivery person just left the tub in the back of the driveway. My contractor gave him explicit instructions on how to access the garage to drop off the tub and the guy couldnt be bothered to walk down a flight of stairs and push a button. They didnt call anyone to say it was being left outside so the tub just stayed in the driveway overnight.Ordering was a nightmare. My sales person went on vacation and I was sent through a maze of people to try to place an order of two drains. They over charged me for parts and their computer systems being down delayed my job by 2 weeks. The sales manager, Matt, called the manufacture of one of the vanity I wanted to order from a different showroom to block the order so that I couldnt order it from anyone else adding additional delays to my order.Look on google for other showrooms that offer great selection and pre and post sales. Here you will pay a premium and get mostly headaches.
Ordered a tub with the overflow on the left side but received a tub with it on the right. Also had parts missing from orders. In my job, Jack London Kitchen and Bath has been the only source of delays. This was followed by an email where the VP of the store Ken Avery threatened further action, for a bad review and BBB filing.I would caution buying anything here their fulfillment is a mess and the store management, Matt (manager) and Ken (VP), have treated my wife and I with disrespect and a lack of professionalism.
I didnt buy anything but Beautiful well laid out showroom, lots of remodeling ideas. Lots of neat shower fixtures. Spoke to a gentleman he just sells fixtures and doesnt have a clue about contractors installations or what they charge. I mentioned i was remodeling a small house. He didnt offer a contractor referral or was interested in anything I had to say. Condescending snooty salespeople.
Beautiful stuff, Horrendous service! Stay away from this place! They will put the blame on you for incorrect orders placed by them, they do not need your business and act as they do you a favor by serving you. We filed with the BBB.One edit a week after the review: JL has agreed to reimburse the wrong tub that was sent and returned. We are still waiting for the correct replacement, but at least we wont lose money.
Good selection. Informed sales people. Trade discount.
Didnt but anything but the people on the floor were very helpful and nice
Nice place, good service, crazy expensive.
Overpriced, you can get all the stuff at Amazon for half.
Called to ask for help with an order and no one returned my call.
