This is THE place to get your fresh noodles and wonton or dumpling wrappers!They have a wide selection of egg noodles (thick, thin, etc.) and multiple cuts and sheets of fresh rice noodles (great for making chow fun or pad see ew). I buy the thick dumpling wrappers when I am on a dumpling making frenzy and they come out perfectly and stand up to my pan fried technique.Yuen Hop has a number of other fresh items at the check out counter like soy milk and tofu (not made in house) that is usually still warm. They also have fresh mochi that some of my friends swear by. The store itself is stocked with Chinese grocery staples and some fresh veggies and fruit in the front. Service is the usual brisk and transactional Chinatown style with the Asian grannies cutting you in line. Yuen Hop is still a gem of a grocery store.
