I came here to get a donut once, but I kept coming for the great warmth and neighborhood feel inside this place. Everyone working here makes you feel at home.Also, lots of very friendly regular customers. Just love this place.Also, in the span of a few minutes I heard Ryan speak 3 different languages with different customers. Annie is super kind and friendly too.

My family loves these donuts! My hubby picks some up for us every once in awhile (half a dozen for about $6.60). They offer a nice variety of flavors. My favorites are the delicious blueberry cake donut, and a chocolate one with chopped nuts on top. I prefer this style over others. The are inexpensive, but taste like a pricey treat. I highly recommend you give them a try.They only accept cash.

The best old-fashioned donuts in Oakland. The owner is the baker and he is super focused on making donuts that have crisp donut exterior and soft moist inner. With all the flavors to choose from including my favorite Blueberry. The donuts are made fresh daily and are often still warm before 8.

Fun and friendly! Also delicious super fresh donuts! They treated everyone who came in like old friends. While we were there, the FedEx guy and then the mailman came and laughed and talked. We felt at home!

The exterior of this establishment is rather nondescript but once inside I only need to look through the display case at the wide assortment of baked goodies to find inner delight just to be near all this sugary goodness. Roughly translated, I come back again and again for the doughnuts which are fresh and light. I have never been disappointed. An extra bonus — the people behind the counter have been kind and cheerful.

I love this donut shop. Ive been going there for awhile now. I try to go every morning to get coffee or tea and a donut. The donuts are fresh and delicious. The owner is very nice. He also sells lots of lottery tickets and his shop is know as a lucky retailer. Its never too busy and the personal attention to each customer makes the trip worthwhile. I highly recommend this donut shop :)

Really cute donut shop! We went about an hour before closing and the lady serving us gave us extra pastries with our order. Pretty standard donuts, which is nothing to complain about.

This guy who owns the donut shop is amazing. He has been there for a couple of decades. He is a wonderful person and he makes great donuts. The people in the neighborhood love him and I admire him. I wont buy donuts anywhere else. If he goes out of business I will never eat another donut again.. okay well that is probably not true but I would be sad and it would be a loss for the neighborhood.

By far the best local donut shop. I travel to this store even though theres closer shops around my area. The owner is super cool and theres a great variety of donuts.

This has to be one best doughnuts in the Bay Area. Slightly crunchy outside and soft as a pillow inside doughnuts. ... Im not sure what kind of magic they are using to accomplish this but its the only place I go to for great doughnuts
