Im grateful that we have a shop in the area that provides such high quality craftsmanship and reliability when it comes to motor builds, maintenance, and aesthetics. Chad and Daniel have serviced my FXR and helped me rebuild the top-end. They built my Dyna including the chain drive conversion, California fuel pack, pistons, cams, suspension and installation of bars and bags. They pay great attention to detail, dont overcharge, come through on-time and give unbiased feedback and direction.

Fantastic shop and really great guys, I can’t recommend highly enough! They took my FXDLS and transformed it: S&S 124 with Legends front and rear, plus they connected me with a great paint shop. Much more than simply mechanics, they really guided me through the build process. 👍

With a few adjustments, Chad and Daniel took a good enough bike and make it great - all while rollin steady through a good amount of customer ignorance. Thanks guys.

Im new to the area, and found these guys on-line and decided to give them a shot. I worked with Chad on a couple issues I was having with my 2015 Sportster. He was very accommodating to my schedule, creative with solutions, and really easy to work with. My wife even called him and they surprised me with the risers I was planning on installing before I came to pick it up! Overall, it was a great experience, and I plan on working with them again. Great work, and highly recommended! 👍

These dudes are legit had a stator issue fixed here was pricey but he gave me different options as to what part to use and said he wont put a cheap part in because they dont hold up. That being said Im sure the dealership wouldve charged me more. The thing that stands out to me the most is whenever Im having an issue I can call them and they help me diagnose it over the phone instead of telling me to come in and charging me for the labor. Definitely will be coming back for any issue I cant fix myself. These are solid dudes running a great business.

My bike is only ever worked on by myself or the dudes at Steady Rolling.I met Chad and Daniel when they were still working out of their garage. Now that they have a full shop it’s easy to say this is the best independent shop in the East Bay. No matter if it’s Chad or Daniel working on your bike or Trevor welding something for you, you are always in good hands. Reasonably priced, professional, honest and friendly staff, quick turn around times, and never compromise a riders safety in his/her wheels.. hence the shop name.

After a horrible experience with another Harley shop in the East Bay - Steady Rolling is a godsend. Bring your bike here, Chad will take care of you and youll be happy. Chad is friendly, super communicative with updates on his progress via text message, his turnaround time estimates are accurate, and his prices are more than fair. I will happily bring my FXR back to him whenever it needs work.

Last weekend on Saturday during Fleet week in San Francisco, My throttle cable snapped just as I was approaching the bridge. Thankfully I was able to get a tow from Cycle tow Really awesome guys there. The driver knew of a shop who could take care of me. Take care of me they did. Unfortunately they did not have my cable in stock, But they were able to make one work for me and get me back on the road in less than 15 minutes. Awesome guys!! only charged me a few bucks. If you break down in the bay area definitely hit these guys up for all your needs.

Chad and Daniel are absolute legends. I initially found them when looking for a small part for my FXR, but have since gone back for everything from a front end swap, to wiring issues, to custom fabrication. If you want great work done at an unbeatable price, look no further.

This shop owner is a blatant liar. The dog and people he claim are not affiliated with his shop have photos posted directly on his Instagram account @steady_rolling_motorcycles . A gray pitbull thats the shops shop dawg? Come on. As for the tall skinny guy I talked to, after reading the other reviews my memory was jogged and I do in fact remember him introducing himself as Danial.Heres my previous review; Desperately needed an oil change on my Ducati so I braved passed the 2 gates and pitbull staring me dead in my eyeballs. This place is confusing, theres a building out front that looks like an office but I think its a residence. Walking back I smelled a strong marijuana odor and was greeted by a older woman in legwarmers and a tall skinny dude (Danial, if I remember correctly) with joint in hand. Both were stoned out of their gourds and confirmed that was their motorcycle shop. Place looked real cool, but didnt feel right. Went online to look up some legitimacy but this place isnt even on the map as far as a registered business. See other great reviews on here, maybe its changed this review is months late. Found a great spot right up the street, legit, thats been open 20+ years so for now Im set.

Steady Rolling Motorcycles can help you get your old harley back on the road. Ive seen a lot of different types and years of harleys go through the shop - Pan-head, Iron-Head, Shovel-head, Sportsters, Buell-sportsters, Dynas and FXRs. This is a good place to get basic service for a deal and also to get your engine rebuilt, handlebars installed or get your brakes fixed.Hell tell yeah straight if your parts are fkd or not!Chad has access to some great parts and knows where to get excellent machine work done for any advanced restoration requirements.Good all-round harley service without having to head to SF or pay dealership prices.
