Yet again, Fed Ex Ground cannot complete a delivery. My apartment building has locked gates. So some luck or actual communication, is necessary to receive a FedEx Ground delivery. Today I was home when they attempted delivery. This apartment building has had locked gates for over 50 years, and FedEx Ground has yet to figure that out. They simply will not do the efficient thing and call to be let in.FedEx pretends to permit the receiver to manage the delivery. But I cannot even tell FedEx which of their locations to delivery my package. I will have to drive by a FedEx office to go to another location to pick up my package. USPS or UPS are smarter and better than the absolute worst, FedEx Ground.
The representative was amazing he helped me in a crunch it was on Pardee Street in Oakland, California near the airport.They went beyond what was suspected and I got my package ship and its a great place.FedEx does have employees that take pride in their work.
The absolute worst experience. I was trying to pick up a package here and the employee was so difficult and rude. I couldn’t pick up the package. I hate FedEx. The worst company. The 1-800 FedEx customer service people told me I could pick it up here. Wow.

Poor communication all around. The call center representatives never know what is going on with specific stores and are unable to give out accurate information. I was instructed by their website to come to this location *on a Saturday and after* 5pm to come collect my package. Due to covid this location has suspended weekend package pickup. Even the door signage isnt 100% clear on their new policy. Communicate with your customers better FedEx.
I can honestly say FedEx has become either completely incompetent or hire people that lack the ability to be truthful or they have taken it to a new level for being both incompetent and liars. For the 2nd time in the past couple of months that my express packages are not delivered as requested. On both occasions our offices were open with staff available but for some reason the FedEx drivers say they were there and never actually arrive. In both instances a door tag was supposed to be left and in both occasions no door tags was left. The package that was to be delivered today, Keeping in mind we started calling at 11:30 to track our package and was told several different excuses as follows: The first excuse was driver could not find the address. Then the driver actually found the address at 12:22pm but no one answered. But when I called at 12:34pm, as soon as we received the bogus exception I was told on the phone the package was at the fedex stations and I could pick up st the station at 12:42. While speaking with a supervisor he said he would transfer me to the local facility but instead send me to review his call. I chose completely dissatisfied!! Then when I call back I got sa lady that came up with several different excuses after I repeated myself to a 3rd person. After lessing to all the dumbest excuses this lady came up with the one that got me the most was when my tracking says a door tag was left and when I told here there was not one left she said they DO NOT leave door tags for businesses. That lady is a liar and I told her that I was done talking to a liar as she showed absolutely no concern for the situation they put themselves in . I then was told that the package would not be delivered today not be reattempted today and the best they could do is by Monday at 10:30am. After the 4th call I was promised a call back again and still nothing. FEDEX HAS LOST THEIR ABILITY TO BE HONEST AND NEVER SHOULD BE TRUSTED. I hope UPS will treat their customers with a more respect because I am about to find out!! As far as Im conconcerend if Fed Ex want to keep my business will require MUCH better customer service.
These drivers are lazy af! Friday 4/2 I received a text saying failed delivery attempt. I was home with my door open waiting on them! Same thing today! 4/5! My neighbor is outside in her car and says the driver just drove down the street, didn’t even try to get out the truck! I live in a gated appt but the gate is broken! You would know that from the street!
FedEx delivery service in Oakland is AWFUL. Drivers do not attempt delivery, but scan packages as if they did. They do not leave door tags. Their customer service is completely unhelpful. Calling them only makes things worse. An item that was supposed to have a signature bc it cost over $1,000 was left in a highly visible place and they did not even try ringing the bell.

Not too bad picking up packages considering you have to stand in line for over 40 minutes due to high volume and covid restrictions. Other than that, my package was found rather quickly. I basically stood in line for 40 minutes for a five minute transaction.

What can I say about this place? Nothing good. The guy working the counter seemed like he did not want to be their. I asked him about what fedex boasts online about city to city same day delivery? He said fedex does not have city to city same day service? But online it stated city to city same day service in this area, even had a map of the bay area. Again he seemed like he did not want to be their. I asked about if they deliver on the Holiday and he said yes, they do not recognize holidays? I said if I mail express will you deliver next day on the Holiday and he said yes. I said can you just leave it their if no one is around and he said they cannot leave deliveries at a business. But he just told me they can deliver? He seemed like he did not want to be their. Well fedex did not work for me and I would have to say that the service from this rep was a big F-. What I tell anyone who works customer service if you do not like what you are doing do something else! When working customer service be friendly with the customer. If i could give a no star i would. What a bunch of morons. I needed to return AT&T equiptment and AT&T said to put equiptment in box and drop off a nearest FedEX. When you call FedEx to confirm loction Drop off you cannot get out of the phone tree and then they disconect your call. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Just like AT&T same service as in NONE, take take take. What a company both of them, If you want a company who does not give a rats behind you these morons FedEx and AT&T. I will never and preach to the world.

Very sketchy, customer service is bad, wants to charge extra for residental delivery. Never pick up the phone. Strongly suggest UPS. I get the run around when calling them on their phone or referred to someone else. No one should have to go through this.

Fedex was supposed to deliver my refrigerated medication on Saturday and they have reported Customer not available or business closed - Access is controlled by customer! This is an absolute nonsense lie! Our building has lockers and USPS, Fedex and UPS have keys to the lobby and therefore to the lockers. Thats the way I have received my medication once a month (mostly on Saturdays) for the last two years!Are you guys aware that someones life and health might be depending on thar refrigerated medication the you were just lazy to deliver?I have to wait until Monday now to get it and have just to hope for it still be usable because I am not sure what is the temperature in this lazy and lousy Fedex warehouse that they are keeping my medication now!
Its obvious that the people at the counter care about their customers. As I rush in to make a drop off deadline or am in a hurry to leave for my next appointment, the workers here are in tune enough that I feel seen and receive the help I need. More than once I have felt relieved of a lot of stress because theyve been so helpful.
They dont take calls here. The corporate person who helped me said they would let me in if I was a little late. 5 minutes late and they wouldnt let me in. Pretty Rude. It was all paid for and everything. All they had to do was a hand off.. They said the system is down and therefore couldnt release it. I know bull when I hear it. Due to Covid they changed their hours from 9 to 6pm. I work from 9 to 6pm. They didnt change the hours on the website. They dont answer the phone. Ugh. Im done.

I came in on a holiday looking to ship off an item to a customer.USPS was closed, but FedEx close by. The African-American woman that helped me figure out the best way to ship, was so very patient and helpful. If I went back here, it would definitely be because of the excellent customer service I received.
They are taking customers one at a time. Line spacing is marked on pavement for only 2 customers. It was unclear what happens after thst. We were lining up in the parking lot, across traffic. Security guard was wearing his face mask over his chin and though he was working hard, he was too close to customers and not protected.
HORRIBLE so sad. One person up front at 6:45 had a line of 6 and 3 needed help wraping a package and like i said ONLY ONE PERSON. THE PERSON DID THE BEST SHE COULD. TERRIBLE PLACE. IF your in the service business you should PROVIDE QUALITY SERVICE.
Ive been waiting at home all day for my package, I need a new phone I ordered from boost mobile. I checked the status of my item and they said they tried to deliver, no one knocked or rang my fully functional doorbell thats on my door. I dont have time or money to go all the way to Oakland for pick up. Knock louder next time dont knock lightly once and assume no one is home!

Recently ordered from ELOQUII with 2Day shipping for both orders. Epic fail. First order arrived 2 days late. The package looked like it had been ran over by a truck and the contents were damaged. The next order, No attempts were made for delivery as I’ve been home waiting for the order. No notice was left. No tracking number... Had to call the vendor to track down the package. The package is at a service center 11 mi away. Dishonest, lazy drivers absolutely unacceptable

Im 69yrs old and disabled I always ask for a phone call when delivery is at my apt building because it is a locked complex the same gentleman has been delivering to me and always calls. He is very sweet and accommodating. Today the customer service said they will not call so I have to wait in the lobby for about 5hrs that is very unfair to a disabled senior citizen. I will be writing to the main office to strongly complain. This seems a violation for disabled senior citizens. Nancy Wells

I arrived around 5:15pm, plenty of parking, but the lobby seemed small because there was only one rep in front. I was fourth in line. About 10 minutes later another rep signed in and 5 minutes later Im out of the building with my package.

Surprised by the bad experience, mainly customer service, here because I have had such good experiences with all other FedEx locations in the past. I missed a package that was supposed to be delivered and on the door tag it said I could go to the office to pick it up and that I needed a government issued ID. I went in, had my door tag and drivers license and they would not give me the package because my drivers license does not have my current address printed on it (I just moved here and have not had a chance yet to get it changed) so in an attempt to still get my package and show them other forms of ID the worker was less than helpful to get this resolved, even after I said I had utility bills and other forms of ID to prove that I was really me. I was told that a passport would also be valid, so I came home (after business hours unfortunately) grabbed my passport and lo and behold, my address is nowhere to be found on it proving that the name on my drivers license plus my door tag should have been enough, so either way the worker had no clue what she was talking about. So partially I am frustrated with the lack of empathy that the worker had and partially with the lack of clarity on the instructions left at my door for me to pick up my package (if in fact it was the workers fault). Customer service people, its not that hard!

The service can be rude initially, but if you are kind they will reciprocate your kindness. There were a few people in the shop treating the employees in an entitled way, so I can understand their frustration with the clientele. Also, working in shipping in stressful. They shipped my packages no problem; thanks!

I am compelled to write a review and hope management reviews these posts in order to improve customer service. I had two packages around 6;00 p.m. today. First, when I arrive there were two customer service folks. One talking, while helping a customer, about how she had to replace her RUSH card because someone stole her identify. Meanwhile there are at least 6 people in line waiting for service. There was more non-Fed Ex chitchat going on between the 2 employees while customers are standing in line getting a bit agitated. I proceed to the counter and have two packages one going out of state and one in state. The Fed Ex employee talking about her RUSH card says to me while scanning the package this aint going...Now Im looking perplexed wondering what in the world is she talking about because I received the packaging from the vendor. So I say Excuse me what do you mean. She continues you have passsssssed the 5:30 deadline. (Purposely added several s because thats the way she said it). I then said ok so does that mean its going out tomorrow? She says yes. I then said okay thats fine. What would have been more appropriate ...Youve passed the 5:30 cutoff and therefore package will go out tomorrow.Fed Ex spend a little more $$$ on customer service.....please!!

I was home waiting to receive my package that I was notified would be delivered on Sept. 5th. Around 1:30p I received an email saying they missed me and required a signature. I was home? Theres a car in the driveway? You would think the delivery person could put one and one together. They left a paper on my doorstep saying they needed a signature. Okay. The next morning on Sept. 6th, I put my signature on the paper and taped it to my door THINKING I would get my package while I was out at work. NOPE. Got an email around 1:30p again that they missed me, but I have the paper signed and on my door??? The delivery person working for this location is obviously blind, cant be bothered to knock, and is lazy. I didnt receive my package.

WORST SERVICE EVERHad to make 9 phone calls, and was told the package would be guaranteed to be delivered by the end of the day (this is after 2 signed delivery door tags were left out in the open for driver, and having driver explicitly told by his superiors to leave the package outside the front door). I then was told by customer service representatives that I was a ranting crazy, and then passed on several times (10) to other areas and then told that the previous people were the ones supposed to help me. I was treated and talked to incredibly rudely, and when I asked to speak to the manager, the Lead Supervisor Customer Advocate Mario refused to even listen to my requests after having been on the phone for 1.5 hours. In the end, the company REFUSED to fix their 3 mistakes, and then told me that I now had to go retrieve my package since it was impossible to deliver until the next week. This is completely false since I had been told earlier that same day that at the latest I would receive my package by the end of the day. Alex, a customer representative at this location was so incredibly rude, and completely unwilling to even acknowledge that HE had made this mistake. When talking to other customer service reps I was told that they tried to transfer me to Alex, who blatantly REFUSED to speak to anyone regarding this issue. The complete lack of respect for paying customers and the unwillingness of the staff to even address this issue at all is completely unacceptable in customer service.
