This place is amazing, fresh food choices, super friendly people. Always returning. We brought our visiting vegan father in law and he fell in love too.

It has good vibes. Very fun. I was a little dubious at first because the place is a little chaotically decorated, but once you get used to it it just feels homey. Got the California (box) bowl lol. It was great. No complaints 👌 ingredients were fresh. Ill def try the real sushi next time. The boba was fresh! got the sesame drink, it was good but a bit too savory for my mood. Def gonna try 😌 kumquat lemon next, love trying new flavors.

My son and husband love the burrito sushi. The burritos are huge and you can choose from a large assortment of ingredients. Theyre rolled with seaweed nori. I love the Hawaiian poke bowls. Within a base of white steamed rice, I can change the ingredients and sauce and have a new flavor everytime.

I am now in love with their sushi burrito! Great place and the ladies behind the counter are very kind and accommodating to newbies. Be warned that they do not wear masks but they to prep your food with gloves. I also tried the Taro smoothie with almond milk and it was a hit. I would frequent it more if it wasn’t so far away from me!

Never get my order right. I mean never. Today was the last straw. No sauce? How are you going to forget my spicy mayo AND my ginger.

Well this place is wonder full and cozy and very welcoming I rode over here on my bike on a hot day and they let me in plus they have Boba and sushi burritos my favorite its like a subway for sushi but with many other stuff including Ramen combucha ect.. but yeah its worth visiting they have yoga sessions which I might actually go to I love this place

Food was great.Spicy krab burrito was VERY spicy. I actually couldnt finish it and ordered a different burrito. Cute little joint with local music. Could definitely be cleaned up though - lots of random stuff laying on shelving and the bathroom was a little on the yuck side. But very sweet people working there.

This place is awesome. I live near here and try to go often. I always get the sushi burrito and it is fantastic. My wife loves the poke bowls and Boba (not really my thing).Owner is an awesome person and they recently started selling local draft beer and have live music. Girls behind the counter are nice and provide very fast service.

The boba’s were actually pretty good however, I couldn’t help but notice a middle aged caucasian male staring us down whom I’m guessing is the manager. I didn’t think too much of it because sadly in this day and age I’m kind of used to it, but he decides to follow us out the store and approach our vehicle asking us if we planned on buying some honey that he assumed we stole from the shelf. That’s disgusting seeing as we actually took our time to come visit and spend our money with them and he couldn’t help but to stalk us and accuse us of stealing. Poor customer service don’t spend your money here.

Owner came to my car and accused my family of stealing honey. The employees didnt wear masks or have on gloves when preparing our “bobas”. Bad experience and not a good choice for oriental foods. Store doesnt look anything like the photos. Would not recommend

Haven’t been here a long while but it’s just as good as day one. They’re bobas are awesome! Could use a little pickup but the experience is always warm and welcoming

Nothing much on the shelves. This is not much of a store,only a couple things to purchase off shelf. But the do serve cooked food. I havent tried the food but my son raves about their Boba.

The staff here are nice, but I cant say the same for the rest. I ordered 2 boba teas and both had so much syrup in them I threw them both out after a couple sips. The poke bowl was okay, but some of the ingredients seemed stale and it looked like a mess thrown together compared to the pictures in the reviews. I know its a small place, but they only have 2 shelves and during my visit and they were barely stocked with no variety. If you want to get quality asian food and varied products, youre better off driving to a better actual market/restaurant in Tampa or Orlando.

Im sure that this place has good sushi burritos but the look of the store, (an old convenience store from the look of it) and the lack of options turned us off so we went downtown ocala to eat instead.

Flipping love this place! Started off by going here for the variety of Boba teas (btw best boba outta all places in Ocala) and eventually tried out the food. Poke Bowls are DEE-LICIOUS! On some occasions the shrimp has had a funny texture or taste to it, but for the most part its usually great! Atmosphere in the store has a cool vibe and the owners are super nice and pleasant to chat with. Store also has an interesting variety of imported products that are great for authentic meals or just for shiggles if you wanna try some foreign junk food/candy.

Drove out of our way to visit and expected that we would be able to buy our typical staples like udon noodles, rice, ramen, etc. Found two rows of shelves with scarcely anything on them. We were very disappointed and I wish I had read more of the reviews before visiting. Considered trying the poke bowls, but none of the employees were wearing a mask.

This place is incredible! The best rice I have ever had and the tuna was so fresh and tender. I had the make your own tuna burrito, Im hooked. I love that I controlled the ingredients and did not have top choose from a menu. I also had the seaweed salad, it had that wonderful fresh pop to it. The staff were so accommodating, I have several dietary issues that they worked around. I am on my way back as soon as I post this review!!

My first time experiencing a ‘sushi burrito’ & it was delicious! I could tell immediately that they only use fresh ingredients & their staff is very friendly and accommodating as well. Also, the last time I had an authentic boba tea was yeeeears ago at an Asian festival in Orlando, their boba tea comes pretty close to it & is very good!

I have been twice in the past month and really enjoy this place! Everything has been delicious and fresh. The tuna they get is very fresh with a noticeably smooth texture. I will definitely be going back!

My wife and daughters eat here often, I finally had a chance to get the sushi nachos. New favorite. Im a larger person and it filled me up.

Very welcoming and friendly staff! The biggest thing that stood out to me was just how nice they were, and how much they cared for this place. Its unassuming decor gives it a cozy and hole in the wall feeling, like you just found a local secret spot. They have a straightforward menu that offers lots of sauce and topping selections that you usually dont find at a poke restaurant. I got the sushi burrito and loved it. Its fun and interesting but a little hard to manage, so I would opt for the poke bowl in the future. Overall 10/10-Local God (elite level reviewer)

I go here occasionally and always order the Hawaiian bowl. Never lets me down and they have a lot of toppings to choose from! If youre looking for boba that has coffee, get magic boba :) tastes amazing

This is another gem in my stash. Absolutely delicious. I ordered the sushi bowl and I was blown away. Oh and the staff..too cool.

Went and finally got to try the poke bowl and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. Ingredients were fresh and delicious and it was made to order. It was like building my favorite deconstructed sushi roll! So delicious. If you havent checked this place out, do yourself a favor and pop in there. Staff is friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. An out of the way location that you need to start looking for now! Stopped in on advice from our son & we were pleasantly surprised. We enjoy two poke bowls & one sushi burrito. Every bite was amazing & the choices were widely varied which certainly made the poke bowls a culinary delight.Also made purchases the Asian market of some surprisingly great foods. We have already started our own Kimshi to enjoy here at home.We will be returning soon for another round of poke & sushi burritos.

I like this place a lot and love to support it. However, the fact that absolutely none of the employees or other customers were wearing masks means that I definitely won’t be coming back any time soon.

The food and boba is absolutely wonderful its one of my favorite places to go for lunch or for a snack. The atmosphere has a lot of potential and i can see that they are trying to make it more welcoming, which is great. I just wish it was a little more organized, a more direct and comfortable way to order (especially for people who are new) it has so much potential, just needs some more care. Still highly recommend, the food and boba is the best asian food and boba in Ocala by far in my opinion. ❤️

I am thrilled that I have found Michelle and the Lotus Food Market. I came with a long list of ingredients for 2 dishes and Michelle helped me every step of the way. I am disabled and she was kind enough to fetch and carry my items. She, also, Googled information for brands that I was looking for and explained about the local grass fed beef, chicken and organic eggs that they sell. Cant wait to take a sushi class and maybe she will teach me how to make yogurt, too. I will be a lifetime customer.

My fiancé and I tried this unique place yesterday. We were completely blown away by their incredible sushi wraps and sushi bowls! Everything was fresh, delicious, and the staff was so friendly! They were so patient with us and described all the details/instructions on how to order our food.We will definitely be back!!

Great people great selection and great atmosphere. Very helpful! They did not have one of the products that I was looking for like many places but unlike the others Lotus was willing to open up the book and help we found what I needed and get it ordered. A delightful shopping experience local produce local free range Meats & best of all the money spent there stays in our community.

They have super tasty, gorgeous, and affordable poke bowls, sushi burritos, and yummy boba drinks.

Great food and drinks here. If youve ever been to Oahu, Hawaii then this is a throwback for sure. The Spicy Poke Bowl is wonderful! And the boba teas/smoothies are delicious. I like the in-house made tapioca balls 10 times better than the popping balls. Those tapioca balls make the long drive worth it!

The only place in Ocala (so far) to order Poke. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but I went one day to try it out. I love the feel of the market where you can buy authentic Asian supplies, but the poke bowl was also delicious. They have lots of options and I love being able to write yourself on a ticket what you want. I also had a boba tea, however I didn’t realize that it automatically came with milk and I am severely lactose intolerant so I did not drink it myself, but my coworker said it was delicious. It’s a nice and refreshing change to everything else that there is to eat in Ocala (chain restaurants)

Food is fresh and delicious!! Staff is friendly and helpful. Love the grocery area; tons of unique items. They also sell local farm fresh eggs and meats.

The place is very dirty inside. Came for an asian market, left without seeing any ponzu or soy sauce even. Photos arent even close to representative of whats on their shelves; they had very little on the shelves and it was a colossal waste of a trip. The employees dont care and are slow to react. The entire store needs a mop bucket and a wipe down, just filthy. :(

Owners are always friendly! Food is delicious and large portions. They strive to serve fresh healthy foods - which is a rare find in Ocala!

Its a new store in the area and they are not quite up and running yet, even though they are open for business. Mostly they have packaged foods from Korea. There is a very small refrigerated section (1 fridge) and no produce, though there is an area for it. Im guessing when they are fully up and running this will be a great place to come for Asian foods. The bottled sauces were a bit high. I can get soy sauce at Publix for almost half the price. The customer service was fantastic and very friendly. Ill be back, but will give them time to have a fuller stock.

To call this place a market is a real stretch. A couple types of teas, beverages and rice do not make a market. We went there to purchase some sushi wrappers and were told they do not sell them and only use them to make their sushi. What a wasted trip.

I go almost every Wednesday to get a sushi burrito. Little does everybody know tucked away in the woods is this amazing little grocery store with the best sushi in town. Very nice owners and workers also.
