I was a little worried at first, since the bike shop was in a shady-looking place, but I had nothing to worry about. They were wonderful. As soon as I walked in, someone asked me how they could help. He was informative and attentive, and had a fantastic attitude. Definitely recommend this place!

We rented a couple of bikes for our family here. The staff was quick to help us and very friendly. They go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable experience.

These guys are awesome! Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My bike had a flat and a broken brake. I ended up getting a tuneup which was very reasonable and included these fixes plus an overall check. Service was prompt and they texted me within 48 hours to let me know my bike was done. The team is very friendly and I would definitely return for a new bike purchase or bike repair and highly recommend the shop!

WOW...what a great shop. Needed to rent a bike to ride Santos/Vortex and was able to get a 2021 Santa Cruz Hightower which is what I ride. Dealt with Chris the shop owner and couldnt have had a better experience. Super knowledgeable and shop was stocked! Everyone there was also super nice and helpful. Im definitely going back!!

Ordered a new kids bike from Liv on a Friday, bike was ready the very next day! Picked it up, it was complete and ready to go. I expected some of the usual do you have this or that questions, but all I got were smiles and I hope your daughter loves it. I was told it had lifetime adjustments through the shop and absolutely no BS, got in and out in less than 5 minutes. All the staff I interacted with were very helpful.

Called the shop to check on inventory ended up with a sweet ride. When I called the shop, Colleene, AKA The Closer picked the phone. Six minutes in to the conversation I was reaching for my card and prepping the truck for the 8 hr commute. When I got to the shop they did not disappoint. Pro shop full of goodies with easy going staff. The bike was ready on arrival, but The Closer struck again. I walked out with the bike, some funky purple pedals and a matching teal water bottle and gloves.Overall, awesome experience, I recommend the shop but watch out for The Closer!

Awesome shop. I rented a bike to ride Santos & Vortex and had a mechanical that I didnt have parts to fix. Brought it back to the shop and they had me back out on the trails on another bike in minutes. Great staff. Cant wait to go rent from them again when I visit next year.

Nice shop. Busy. Looks like they know their stuff. Convenient to be located next to the trail. Sign at the door indicates masks required and all patrons appeared compliant. However did not see ANY staff masked. Whether or not you agree with masks, seems the employees should follow store requirements. Will take my business elsewhere.

Well how to start lets talk about living on the edge like the chain on the bike(Giant talon 27.5) that my friend rented from here, not even half a mile into our ride and the chain pops off at an exponentially fast rate. Or the fact that the gears indicator are non existing and broken. Changing the gears felt like grinding metal through sand and constantly popped through gears. The tire was low and. Couldnt air up the pres to valve because it was bent. Was not asked how my ride was they just took the bike and said that he was good to go.

I have used Santos Bike Shop several times now from service, rental, to recently purchasing my dream bike from them. What a great shop! Very helpful and friendly staff. Their service department does great work and always gets it the work done more quickly if it is something that is keeping me off of the bike. Such great service and so friendly. Getting a new trail bike for my 18 year old soon to be college student and they were so helpful in picking out the right bike and also a 5 day return policy. If you need a new bike, make this your first stop! Avoid the chain grocery stores that happen to sell bikes too!

I bought my full suspension Santa Cruz from them I absolutely love this bike! I’m so glad there’s a Santa Cruz dealer in town! When My wife and I were looking to upgrade I knew I could count on santos bike shop to fit me on a premium bike! From the moment I walked in the door I knew these were my people. Santos bike shop is extremely helpful, I rented a Santa Cruz 5010 carbon which is a pretty expensive bike my dad and grandfather rented two salsa timberjacks. The shop is right next to a trailhead and you can take the trail to the vortex. I wish I had a bike shop near me that I could buy a new bike and right away hit the trails. The shop had everything you could think of like petals and bike racks. Most the bikes are mountain bikes but they do have e-bikes and roads bikes.

Got the little ring service and ended up with a bike covered in grease (the wipedown was down with a disgusting rag??) and a chain greased so heavily (why are they putting grease on chains?) that I had to remove it and thoroughly clean it and my entire drive chain. I had them work on another bike to replace a derailleur hanger and they did the shifting so poorly I had to take it to another bike shop after.

My husband bright me here as a surprise to go mt biking for the first time. All the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. The trails were awesome and fun. Pricing was fantastic to boot!

Very disappointed with this shop. Entered this shop to inquire about dropping my MTB off for a full service and new bars and upon entering noticed there were many people inside not wearing a mask. When I walked inside the workers picked myself and my friend out and told us to leave because we didn’t wear a mask. I do not own a mask. Multiple people, even employees were mask-less and we were singled out. I guess I will buy online.

I went to this bike shop for a bike rental. The online booking was very simple. When I arrived on site the staff helped me with setting up the bike and adjusting a few things. Then they gave me a map of the trails. This is a big trail system and I am not from the area so it was very useful. From the shop I rode right to the trails and had a blast on the Santa Cruz Tallboy I rented. This is a $4k bike that I was able to ride for an entire day for only $65! Amazing. When I returned, I asked questions to Kim, one of the many employees there. I told her I was looking to purchase a bike in the near future. She let me try a few bikes, gave me a bunch of information. She was great. Before my experience at Santos Bike shop I wasn’t sold on buying a bike from a local bike shop. My experience visiting bike shop in my area was just okay at best. Now I understand the value of having a bike shop to help you select a bike that fits and support you after the purchase. Just have to find the right bike shop. Santos is one of those. My best friends Gina and Doris have brought their bikes there for years! Santos is affordable for any bike repairs. I have full confidence in anything I need from them. It doesnt matter what type of bike either. They do it all! Today I brought my co-worker and her son for his bike to be repaired and they were also pleased with the estimate, knowledge, and expertise! I have been around the country on business trips where I have rented bikes, and the crew here was both professional and friendly, and I felt really comfortable walking in and getting my rental. I pulled in about fifteen minutes before they closed, and they quickly fixed me for $10! They were extremely friendly and obviously loved their jobs, talking with us well after they closed.Ive had poor experiences with other bike shops, but these fellows were very experienced and knew what they were doing! Rented to 2 bikes on a recent trip for my 2 kids. I called the shop and they helped me identify the correct size for the bike and provided excellent suggestions. My kids loved the bikes and they fit perfect. They gave us excellent suggestions of which trails were best suited for my kids and they loved them.The location is perfect and it connects right onto the Pine tree loop. The shop has a changing room. I liked the bikes they have for rentals better than Greenway. My son rode a Giant Brand Bike and my daughter rode a Salsa Timber Jack. The prices are very fair. I wont hesitate to rent from here again. Great place. Thanks

Great LBS who provide excellent service every time Ive been in. I visit once a year to ride trails and make a point to stop at the shop to see what is new and maybe grab some gear. Chris remembered me from my last trip which is impressive with the number of people who come through. He and his crew were helpful this trip getting me set up in new Five Ten shoes & answering questions about dropper posts. Great bike shop! Weve rented bikes from them twice while there on vacation and Id be happy to again. The bikes were in great shape and really worked well on the fun trails nearby. The easy connector trail right from the shop makes it so easy to enjoy the riding. The staff were friendly and helpful with making sure the bikes were set up well for us, and with trail advice.

The staff at Santos is caring, Knowledgeable and Professional. Some friends and I were in Ocala for a few days to ride vertex and the Santos trail system. I stripped the threads on my cranks the first afternoon- I thought my trip was ruined! I called five local bike shops out of desperation and Santos was the only shop that could help me. Everybody else told me that they would need to order a new crank. Santo’s was the only shop that said they could repair my crank. I Rushed my bike to them at 4:00 on Saturday afternoon. Hector and the crew jumped on it right away and had it fixed by 5:00 (closing time). They were amazing and they saved my trip. Thank you Hector and the staff at Santos. You saved our trip and allows me to enjoy Ocala amazing trails system!!!

I purchased a used bike from a private owner and discovered a problem almost immediately. I stopped in to the shop and was immediately greeted by Chris. He quickly assisted me and corrected the problem. I was in and out within minutes and when I offered to pay for the trouble was told that it was free. You can bet that any issues that we have will be taken here for service. Visiting the area from up north I stopped by to check out Santos bike shop for some accessories and riding clothes. Ryan was very knowledgeable, all the guys were helpful, and the prices were fair. I talked with Scottie about a hub issue and a remedy for it. Ended up on a group ride later that night and got a great tour of the trails. If I were local this would be my shop. Highly recommended!

I have been to a few bike shops and find that bike shop employees are generally friendly and informative. I think their love for riding has a lot to do with that. Santos employees are no different. I have been there several times before deciding on my Giant Talon 4. I spoke to different people each time and they were all great. Love the fact the shop has access to Santos Trail Head. Took my first ride today and loved it. Why did I wait so long to buy?

Local bike shops are the best. Got a set of backup tires to put on the backup wheels for the gravel bike when all I really needed was shift cables. Good selection of tires and other bike accessories.

A very good bike shop indeed! I bought a road Mountain bike here and later on, I upgraded to a entry level road bike. I had it in to get some tweaks done on the shifting components and they didnt even charge me! I wouldnt have minded paying either... I am currently in the market for better clip in pedals and riding clothes. This will be the place to get it all! Oh, and by the way, the owner is very honest and helpful to say the least (including all the staff) They have upgraded to a bigger store but it is still in the same convient location.

We will never rent anything here again! What was supposed to be a fun family outing (newbie mountain bikers) turned out to be a headache. The lady (I can only assume shes either the manager or part owner) was rude since the beginning. Well one of the guys from our group got hurt on the trails and it took us a long time to find them and make our way back to the store - mind you, we had to go back to the car to get a phone. Well, instead of being understanding of the situation, we got charged late fees and got more attitude from that lady.Needless, to say, Ive had a much better experience from the bike shop across the street from the trailhead and theyre cheaper.

Santos we super helpful! I called before coming in with some questions about changing a 70s moped tire. The repairs department was helpful and quickly fixed my tire when I came in. I brought a few other bikes and the technician showed me which ones needed fixing and which ones were simple fixes at home. They even showed me how to replace a chain and walked me through the repair free-of-charge. My experience with Santos was very enjoyable with their clarity, promptness, and honesty.

Great place to do business. Took my 22 year old bike in for new tires and a tuneup. Quoted a price and the work they would be doing. When I picked the bike up they actually performed all the work needed plus some extra things at no extra charge.
