What a magnificent place to visit if you appreciate the evolution of video games, trading card games, used games (from Nintendo to SEGA to any possible game console) they even had dream casts int there. Their collection of comics is well organized and a section of certified rare comics!!! If youre a Millennial born in the 80s and 90s, you will take the best trip down memory lane that youve experienced Ina really long time. I am so glad I got to that I got to experience that with my 8yo son in this store. Thank you, the used games I bought for my son 3ds were great and I went back the same day for some comics. THANK YOU, I will most definitely be back.

This was the perfect place for any collector of any sort! The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions! We were just getting back into the collecting game since the pandemic and they made it such a fun experience we are looking forward to many more trips!

Heard about them from the employee at game stop which was cool, was looking for a PS1 power cord which they had at a great price. Props to Kevin for hooking me up. I could have ordered it online but its great to support local businesses. Bearded browncoat has a very wide selection of comics, video games and video game consoles. In addition they carry Magic The Gathering, Pokemon and Warhammer products. I go there biweekly and the owners and employees are so helpful. The culture there is a very inviting one, I play Magic there and my group always will let someone join in or watch/ask questions.

Great store with friendly staff. It was well lit and well organized. The back gaming rooms were very spacious with lots of tables. Their prices were pretty good and what I would expect to pay. They had a good video game selection and most of the prices were lower than EBay. I liked their D&D section and they had a good selection of figures, books and accessories. Definitely worth checking out of youre in the area!

Came in just to look at pokemon and comics and I was blown away. They had a little bit of everything. Comics, cards, retro games, even a room in the back to play games. It was a lot bigger then I was expecting as well. Everyone was so nice there and made me feel welcomed. ​Will definitely make this a required visit every trip.

They even have back rooms to use for DND or Warhammer -all for free! Love this place. Comics and gaming paraphernalia galore. Staff are nice and helpful. The stock is constantly changing and theyre always getting new things in. Prices seem fair, but can be a bit on the high-end for some items. So be sure to know what youre looking for when you go in.

Wonderful selection of used PS3 games which was whatbI was looking for, even found the ones I wanted. The gentleman was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place for all things gamey. They had a ton of comics, everything was nicely labeled and organized.

This place is super cool probably the largest of its kind in the area however I noticed a couple of flaws that I dont like. One I dont see a place for for people to actually get together and play games or cards or whatever have you which Ive seen at other locations around the country and other places. Second the prices are outrageous here. I never realize how much I markup is for role-playing games and other cards and things of that nature. I will say that the customer service is very nice oh, this is one of the nicest places for I guess for this kind of hobby store. It looks amazing.

Really cool store. Super friendly and was able special order a D&D miniature for me. My first time in the store, they had an awesome selection of pretty much everything you’d hope to find and a few extra items you wouldn’t expect. Prices were fair and I would definitely go back. Looking to also find a D&D group here to play with as well. Hope I can get involved with that.

This place is amazing. I love finding good game/comic stores, and this is the one. If youre looking for retro games, they have it. Been able to buy new controllers for my old consoles here, as well as games. They have board games here, and an area to play games in the back. Drinks and snacks are sold here as well if you do decide to stay to play a game or few. If you need paint or figures for your game, you will also find it here. Wide selection of comics, Funko pops, some manga, figures, and the list just goes on. Its one of those places you need to take time to look around, just so you wont miss anything. Ive found both old and new products here, and I just love coming back here. Would recommend everyone to take a look.

I love this place bcuz they have most of the games and comics that i have ever looked for and if they dont have what youre looking for, they can most likely get it. Also they have a wide variety of collectibles and things that could possibly peak your interest in other categories. Ive started collecting things that I never thought of before I had ever stepped into the store. Now Im there at least once a week. Not to mention no one else in Ocala that I know of has anywhere near the inventory that they have. My go to and safe to say Im a customer for life.

Nice store But, The prices are 25-35% over Ebay prices and the owner will not come down on any of it. Seems like he looks at listed prices and not sold prices. I understand he has overhead costs that ebay sellers dont and i wouldnt mind paying 5-10% over to support local business but selling a 10-15 dollar comic at 30-40 and slabs that are going for 2-300 dollar and selling them for 400 is not a way to garner return customers. Especially when they find out they overpaid for item. I hope they read this review and start using sites like 130point.com to find the actual FMV(fair market value) for what they are selling. Meanwhile ill take my money else where.

Very Friendly staff, ans excellent selection of goods, from games to models to comics! The atmosphere is always friendly and calm. I frequent here because of Warhammer mostly, but Ive always found that the cool and relaxed tone is fairly comfortable to just sit down and read or build models. I greatly recommend hobbyists, tabletop gamers, and comic enthusiasts alike to check it out!

This place has a huge variety of comics, retro games, pop figurines, d&d miniatures and more. Personally, I come here the most to get the things I need for my d&d campaigns, but my other nerdy friends I bring with me are always able to find the comics and geek like things they need. Nice retro games and all, but I bought a PS2 game here one time, and it didnt work! Disc had a bad scratch in it and my good working PS2 system doesnt read the game most of the time. Took it back for my money back. -1 star. I have some good working games from here too.Not saying this is bad or anything but yeah.

They want not helping customers at all when I was in there they were stack shelve and talking on the phone and didnt ask me anything if I needed help.

Great selection, friendly staff. They recently re-did how their games are organized, so it made the whole place seem more open. Very broad options for board games, and pre-owned video games, including classic systems such as NES, Dreamcast, Genesis, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance. They have smaller selections of even older systems like Atari 2600. Im not a big manga/comic book fan personally, so I cant talk at length about that selection, but it looks like theres a lot to choose from!
