This place used to be pretty efficient at the drive thru. It has become totally unacceptable the amount of time waiting to pick up meds... UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
Extremely helpful. Clean good access. Expanding the FedEx service up to having envelopes, etc would be a service to the community.
I spoke with the Pharmacy about 10 days before my order for special blood glucose equipment. All seemed good for a Medicare refill of sensors and transmitter. First problem they filled too early ignoring my date that was given to them. This required a call to tell them the Medicare date again. Next problem I get to the Pharmacy and only the sensors are filled not the required transmitter. I ask about it and they claim an insurance Medicare problem. There was no contact or follow up prior to me going for pickup. Now I must wait 3 more days and make an additional trip. The sensors are no good without the transmitter. VERY POOR PHARMACY MANAGEMENT. The issue should have been discussed with me as soon as a problem was noted.
Rude! As I was explaining a situation the person on the phone gives me the yea ok ok ok cuts me off puts me on hold for 8 min. And nobody will admit who it was talking to me. Its not over I will find out who it was. Because you talk to an treat the elder people like garbage you will not do it to me an think its alright.
This store dose not update there systems. My wife reported to them she no longer takes a certain medication do to a allergic reaction. They continue to refill this medication. This time we did not catch the mistake.we have been forced to eat the cost. “Being just outside large retirement communities making mistakes like will cost someone there life”!
My wife called the pharmacy at approx. 12:30 pm today to see if I needed an appt. to get a flu shot. She was told that the pharmacist would go to lunch from 1:30 until 2pm, but if I could make it before that shed see me. I arrived at approx. 12:50 and was 2nd in line at the technicians window. The pharmacist was explaining an order to another patron. When the technician told the pharmacist that I needed a flu shot at 12:55, she was told that I would have to come back after 2pm, more than an hour later. The pharmacist said that the explanation would take 30 to 45 minutes. She couldnt interrupt her explanation for 5 minutes to give a shot. I had started up a conversation with 2 other people in line behind me, and I guess she would have wanted them to come back later also. Evidently, she considered her explanation more important than helping 3 people in line. Maybe she would be more at home at a teaching hospital. I wont go in that Walgreens again. My wife called the store when I told her what happened, and the asst. Mgr told her that the pharmacist was right to stop helping the patrons in line. She said that the pharmacist was also answering the phones. (the phone didnt get picked up by the pharmacist while I was there) What a bush league outfit! Dont go to this store!
I really had a horrible experience at this Walgreens. Just to be clear I LOVE Walgreens. Not this one. 7921 SW Hwy 200 Ocala FL. Avoid this one. There are 2 other Walgreens very close by that are great. My cashier Mary was so rude and condescending to me. In front of the manager who was apparently fine with what happened. So silly but I was buying 2 red bulls. For some reason she decided they were not on sale. Even though I showed her the sale sticker. She fought with me. It was insane. The manager actually told her that they were on sale and she still didnt want to accept it. I never lost my temper. I tried to stay calm and pleasant. At the end when she finally gave me the right price she never apologized and then said ok then and handed me the receipt. No thank you from her. I lost it and said you are welcome and you are very rude! Mary. Avoid if you can. There are too many good Walgreens to waste any time at one like this. Thanks
When I go into this store everyone is always nice and polite. They greet me by my name. The service is always quick and professional.
After trying to straighten out a prescription with a new pharmacist they hired named Pauline, I finally got fed up with her attitude. Was wanting to make a complaint to the pharmacy manager, but she was not in the store at the time, so I made a complaint to the store manager and he said he would forward it on to the pharmacy manager. In conclusion I never got a call from the pharmacy manager about my complaint. After that I switched all my medication to my local CVS Pharmacy. Also Their liquor store has started requiring you to physically hand them your drivers license and they scan it every single time you purchase liquor. Come on people I am 53 years old. I don’t like having to hand out my personal information and have it scanned every time a Purchased a bottle of liquor. From now on I go to Publix liquor store.
