What an amazing shop! Fabrics and patterns and goodies! Oh my! The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. It was well worth the two hour drive from St Cloud. Cant wait to go back!

I made a trip with my mother and a friend to Ocala just to check out Brick City Cross Stitch after hearing many good things about this shop. We definitely agreed that this was an excellent shop. Great selection of charts, fabric, and fibers. They were able to set us up with a couple of new projects. I particularly appreciated the care taken to serge and label the fabric we bought. The label included the name of the project, dimensions of the finished piece, and what the fabric name, color, count was. If only I had that labeled on every piece I have in my stash!! All in all, this was well worth our road trip.

I drove just under 2 hours to visit the store and it was 100% worth every minute. Jean was amazing in helping me choose fabric and floss colors. Linda was in the store as well and was so nice and answered many of my questions. I cannot wait to go back! If youre looking for a cross stitch store and dont live near this one, its worth the drive.

This is one of my absolute favorite places! Ms. Jean is such a sweetheart and so knowledgeable about stitching. I live over an hour away and still try to come visit once a week.

Great selection of charts, fiber and fabric. Jean carries her fabric by the bolt and cuts to your design measurements. Fabric is then surged. It is always a great experience at Brick City Cross Stitch. All are looking forward to Market Day at the shop now. Large tables for stitching and sharing with stitching friends.

Lived in Ocala for 25 years and never went in neat little place

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had to drive 1 1/2 hours to get there but it was worth every minute! I cant wait to go back.

My husband saw a beautiful pattern on the wall and she set me up to stitch it. Picked up a couple others also . A nice thank you to the lady who left free stitching kits. Years ago I did the tree ornaments and she left a few I didnt have. Very nice shop. Glad I could make it.

Really nice shop with great range of threads and a good selection of patterns. The range of linen and evenweave was one of the best I have seen. Super friendly owner and a shop with a great happy buzz.

A friend and I went on a road trip to Ocala from Jacksonville to check this store out. 4.5 hours later we finally left. We met Fay (not the owner) but enjoyed her company the whole time we were there. She was so helpful and pleasant and if we didnt have evening plans we would have stayed and stitched with her. The shop was bright and clean and very well stocked with so much to choose from. Patterns, fabric (they surge the edges for you!!), thread, many, many samples finished in various ways and a great framing shop right next door. ( Cindy the owner over there came in to meet us and was so nice!) They have plenty of room to Sit n Stitch and special events and retreats too! My advice is to get yourself there because it was one of the very best stores I have been to. Thank you Jean Bendula for keeping us in stitches
