Day 190:We have survived the hot summer without our new windows that were supposed to be installed in august... Im afraid window world has forgotten us.

They were great. From start to finish. No messes to clean up they did it all. If you are thinking of new windows, give them a call, they were over 10 thousand dollars less than my first quote.

Day 168:Have yet to schedule my window install. The nice office ladies inform me it will be the next month everytime time I call (which is every month for the past 3 months..). Im starting to believe this is all a sham, they probably dont make windows or sell windows.

The salesman that sold us the windows was marvelous and to be truthful could sell ice to Eskimos. The man (Roger) that did our installation was professional and friendly.......BUT.......the Customer Service in-between those two events was horrendous. They NEVER returned phone calls. Did not follow through when we finally did make contact. The only way we found to get anything accomplished with CS was to call the salesman and give him an earful about the lack of service we were receiving.....then, miraculously, we would get a call back. There was never an apology for their lack of customer service. VERY FRUSTRATINGWould we use them again, probably....why?? because they do sell a good product, and their installation was excellent. Just know that from ordering to installing, the IN-BETWEEN is painfully lacking !!

I had 13 windows installed in March and wanted to wait to review them. I must say they are excellent, and I am well pleased.Window World Windows:They were measured accurately and fit perfectly.I am very pleased with the quality of the windows and screens.The installation was done by a great team of workers that 1.) were careful in the removal of the old windows, and with the installation of the new windows--no scratches 2.) the caulking was neat and tidy 3.) the clean-up was thorough 4.) their focus was on my being a satisfied and happy customer---and I was, and am!The cost of the 13 windows was VERY reasonable.Another plus--my air conditioning/heating bill has reduced.The customer service at Window World was professional and caring.Having dealt with two window companies--my first 8 new windows installed, just prior to Window World, was with another local company and ended up to be a very expensive, disappointing and unfortunate experience. Therefore I have a pretty good comparison of the quality of service of the two companies. I highly recommend Window World and would absolutely use them again.

Good morning....today I am NOT discussing the fact that due to covid and/or lack of employees causes delays in installations and/or repairs which we all understand is happening... but am pointing out that as a matter of good business practices, a corporation such as Window World should have the courteous business nature of at least contacting their client periodically to let them know approximately where they stand with regards to their install and/or replacement repair. I had to call regarding our window install and found out they had them and during that call the install date was set up. They did not contact me. When the install was completed on April 12th, 2021, two windows had a small crack in the frame and one screen was torn. I called 2 times and was given May 24th as the date Window World would get them in and then told was delayed till May31st. I have NOT heard back from them as of today June 22nd. My point again is have some good business sense and let the client know periodically what is going on...You have been paid... We are known in the neighborhood as the stickers as county inspection still not completed because of cracks in 2 frames..thank you.

Replaced 18 windows. The work was done well. But I had to repeatedly call to get updates and information. At every step of the way, multiple calls. That was very frustrating. Told I would get called back and never was. To top it off they ordered one of my windows incorrectly. So they had to return to fix it. That wasn’t the problem- it’s that I had to call 4 times to find out when that would happen. I was given a date then they didn’t show. I called again to find out the installers didn’t know about it. It was like that at every step. When they did the work it was fine. But be prepared for a lot of hands on project follow up.

We ordered our windows in December, we were misquoted and they put our order on hold because of it. Then we did not get a call notifying us of this but rather we called them to check status in January. We were told we would have them by mid April. We have had no communication unless we have initiated it and now I am told mid May after I again called to check on status. They are trying to be fair. Well here is my fair account of poor customer service and my lack of faith in the Lifetime guarantee that they advertise. Maybe it’s because it will take a lifetime to get your windows installed

Window installers were great. The office not so much. Ordered windows in the beginning of March and windows were to be installed by end of June. Did not receive any communication from company from March until I called them in the middle of June. Was told windows werent in yet, but were supposed to be there by the end of the week and Id get a call beginning of following week. That week came and went with no phone call. I called the last week of June, told that all but specialty windows came in, but they were due in by end of week and I would get a call beginning of the following week. No call received that week. I called the week after that. Told same thing and that they were surprised didnt have them yet as they were installing people who ordered their windows at the end of May/beginning of June, but this time I called in at the beginning of that week on a Tuesday and they said windows were due in that Friday. I then called them on the Monday of the last week of June and windows were in and all were okay to be installed. Had to wait 2 weeks for installation. Come installation day, one window was not the correct size (not a specialty window, but one that they had had for a month and checked to ensure everything was correct, but obviously wasnt). Installers told them on that day the issue (Thursday). The following TUESDAY I actually received my first phone call from the office!!! They wanted to schedule the inspector. I informed them of the issue and said the installer told them. They then looked and said, Oh yea, I never looked at my notes from last week. (WHAT?!) ONE window to be reordered. I waited for a week and a half, no calls from them. I called for ETA of one window. Was told that Friday (8/21). No word heard from them until I called them 10/19. Oh yea, they have the windows in, someone should have called to schedule. Finally, got last window installed on 10/22. Office response is horrible. Youd think that if you were waiting on someones windows from MARCH and installing people who ordered at the end of May/June, youd contact your supplier and put a priority on things. Not happy with the length of time having to wait and office never returning calls or following up with supplier to get things going.

If I could give Brent and his crew Jamie and Aaron 10 stars I would. They were terrific installers. The BEST!! They were awesome, very friendly and most helpful. Great experience and we love our windows and very excited to be able to get them. Brent is a artist with a caulk gun. Brent gave complete demonstration, answered all our questions and more. Outstanding service. 20 Stars!!!!!

This branch is TERRIBLE. I have used Window World in Brevard on 3 house flips. Then started buying in Ocala area. Sharon the manager here is awful. She is super rude and unprofessional. The whole project last year was done wrong. I requested CWS windows made in Ocala they ordered different window manufacturer the windows don’t auto-lock and I am stuck with them. The front door and window they didn’t even order which put my project 3 extra months behind. Sharon had the nerve to ask me for text messages proving my door order and cws windows even though it was on the contract. What happened is the bidder put it in the basket for measurements and no one ever came out to measure for the door. I called multiple times to check on status never did they mention the door hadn’t been ordered till window install day and I was missing a door. They also installed a window with a huge hand print defect on the inside. They don’t quality check their windows prior to installing them only further delaying completion. It’s a complete cluster F$@K. Fast forward a year almost I am getting a bank loan now on the property and the bank is doing due diligence. They found Window World never closed out the NOC on my property so I may lose my underwriting due to delay. Sharon the manager blames my bank for not doing their job. They are literally doing due diligence and their job. Sharon makes excuses for all her and her office’s inadequacies and is a nasty person. She even hangs up on customers. They have absolutely no customer service skills or integrity. I try to reach the owners and they are nearly impossible to find and seem like they don’t care at all about their customers. They live in Brevard county they are not even local to Ocala. Out of sight out of mind. Will never do business with these incompetent, rude, lazy, unprofessional awful fraudulent business and people ever again!! The bidder and installers were the only good thing I can say about this company. I am an experienced property flipper and work with dozens of contractors. These people are terrible. Run!!

Very unhappy with my experience with Window World. I think it took five different visits and many months for them to get the job of installing five windows done. On all but one occasion, I was the one who had to call to (re)schedule when they cancelled/delayed for some reason. The only time they ever called me was to collect their money. Job is still not 100% done but Im tired of calling them. Wont use them again.

I bought a house that had windows installed by previous owner with Window World about 10 years before i purchased it and they transferred the lifetime warranty to me when i bought the house and had a part failure in the balancer. The service guy Phillip was awesome at explaining how everything worked and showing me the parts he was replacing! He looked around and found a seal failure in another window and ordered the new one immediately. Great service, great warranty and everyone Ive talked to has been super friendly and helpful. Really glad previous owner went with them!

I have been trying to get a door replaced since January, I get I new date every time I call. It is so frustrating.

The gentleman who came to our home was terrific. He measured each window and made sure everything was just right. Then the window installers came and installed them and they too were great but the salesman came too! He came to make sure we were happy and he checked each one to be sure they were perfect. And they are! The salesman was awesome. His name is Greg Galas. Make sure you call Window World and ask for Greg! By the way... Absolutely LOVE the new windows. Contracted with Window World in May and I must say they are well worth the wait. Everything from the salesman to the install was great. The office did a great job of keeping my husband and I up to date with the timeline. I WILL be recommending this company to all of our friends. All around extremely satisfied with Window World!

Many firms touted their warranty as a way to get you to purchase their product. But, when a warranty claim arises, enacting it becomes an onerous process that largely negates the value of the giarantee.This is NOT the case for Window World. The windows that were installed have performed well. Twenty-two years after being installed the seal on the lower half of the bathroom failed.I called WW of Ocala. They asked if I had the serial number if the window. I did (it is available on a sticker attached to the sash). They verified our address and a replacement window was ordered to arrive in 5 to 6 weeks. That was it! No fuss. No mountain of paperwork. No problem.How can you beat it? A product that lasts. And a simple warranty process if there is a problem.

The receptionist at Window World makes dealing with them a real pleasure. She is efficient and knowledgeable in addition to always being pleasant. I vote for a pay raise for this sweet lady!

They called me last week to schedule install of door and told me 8-10. At 11 I called them and he hadn’t left yet to come to me. They told me the time frame was 9-11. This is the 4th time I’ve scheduled this and they haven’t shown up during the time frame allotted with no phone call to let me know. I’ve had to call them. It middle of March, ordered the door in October

My husband and I are amazed with our new windows and sliding glass doors! The salesman was very professional, he took his time to answer my hundred questions since this was our first time buying windows. He didnt push us to purchase anything like your typical salesman does. He left us with the quote to think about it for as long as we needed but after having a few other quotes done we knew window world was the right choice. The ladies in the office are so sweet and kept us informed through calls and even text. When it came time to put the windows in, the two gentlemen were very polite and my husband was impressed with their work. They then showed me how the windows opened, closed, lock, and tilt open. I used to have to put all my body weight into opening my door and now it slides open with one finger!! And the best part is their lifetime warranty! So if I ever have any trouble all I have to do is give them a call. Thank you Window World and your team!!

They are great I pop a window out and had to call for repairs and someone was here the same day. Dont know about any others but I am very happy with my windows and the service.

Drove from out of town to buy new windows. Sign says closed, they are there but said not selling any windows. My guess is they get government money if there closed . Never will I make that drive again

Window World is one of the best companies Ive ever had the pleasure of working with. I can honestly say that Im someone who knows absolutely nothing about windows (other than the fact that mine are old and Im tired of astronomical electric bills). But I was pleasantly surprised that a salesman came to my home to explain what my options were as a customer and exactly how the product works, how well they keep the heat and the cold out, and about their warranty. You may have a little bit of a wait, but I honestly believe that there is a reason that they are so busy! Because their products are great. I have nothing but good things to say about both the salesman and the installers who came out to put my windows in. I would recommend Window World to all!

Had my windows done YEARS ago and could not find my paperwork on the warranty. I was worried I wouldnt be able to get my foggy window replaced but when I called they were able to pull my file and ordered the piece to fix my window. This was the first time Ive had to call in for a warranty and they took care of it quickly and were pleasant to talk with. The young gentlemen was very polite and efficient. He even checked my other windows while he was there to make sure they were all in good shape. Most places make you jump through hoops for warranties but window world was just a simple phone call and done!

Been waiting for a replacement for a bad window they installed for the 7 months.

The windows were very nice they were put in very nice but after the fact they started leaking gas it took me two months and I still have not got a replacement window their warranty sucks

It took almost a whole year for them to install our windows. They told me that 1 out of 20 customers have a bad experience yeah just had to be me. So get your 3 or 4 estimates.

Windows look great and they cleaned after themselves. The windows came as promised. However they removed shutter brackets and did not screw them in correctly. Over all they did a good job and would recommend Window World.

We were very pleased with your product and your installers. Especially Harvey and his wife ..what a team. They were not only professional in the installation but they were very friendly and enjoyable. Good work all around.

Sales person did his job except I ordered nine windows and one sliding door. When my order came I had nine windows no door. It was not ordered had to wait six more weeks for the door to be installed. When the door was installed somehow the screen got damaged. Installer said it would only take about three weeks for the screen. Two months later I still havent received the screen. When I called about it Im told rather rudely that it will probably get here next week and I was hung up on. I feel I was quite generous giving four stars and the only reason I did that is because the installers did above and beyond their job . On the other hand the office staff needs work whether its because theyre shorthanded overworked or just plain rude not sure. Originally placed my order on April 20, 2017 received a call yesterday my screen will be here tomorrow. September 27, 2017.

Update: on the third attempt the correct windows arrived and were finally installed! Very pleased with the installers and the quality of the windows. Still upset over the mistakes the company made that cost us but ultimately pleased with our windows. Original review: Super frustrated with this company thus far. We waited 14 weeks for our windows to come in, moved our furniture and took down all the blinds only to be told on FIRST day of install that 2 windows (out of four) were measured incorrectly and had to be reordered. Waited another 2 weeks for those windows, moved furniture again on morning of SECOND day of install only to get a call saying that the wrong kind of windows came in. How is someone not triple checking these things?? So twice now windows were made and can’t be used. What a waste of materials, time and energy for everyone involved! We will now have to wait another 2 weeks and if the THIRD install doesn’t happen then we will be cancelling our order and going with another company.

Just got our Duke Electric bill with our new WW windows. $204. Last month with old single pane windows, $288.

They debited my account on March 16th still waiting for install!! Today is 9/11/2018 almost (6) six months after Window World debited my account, originally two (2) windows were ordered wrong, on four (4) separate occasions they scheduled installs and never showed up they never called me back. They refused to install the other six (6) windows until the 2 ordered wrong came in...yesterday I spoke with Window World to schedule Gainesville Code Enforcement and they asked me to take off the trim to show Code Enforcement that the windows were screwed in properly and I was informed that they used wood screws....Code Enforcement failed another window since it was not tempered glass, so now I have to wait for that window to be re-ordered....

Recently bought a house that has window world windows in it that were purchased in 2014, according to the paperwork. I was a little skeptical as to how true this Lifetime Warranty really is. Much to my surprise Window World actually honored their warranty. They advised me that I would need to do a $50 transferable warranty before they could help, but ordered my windows right away. A few weeks later they called to let us know they were here and needed to get us on the schedule for us to have them replaced. The best part is it didnt cost me a penny after the transfer fee! The service guy Phillip was very friendly and showed me how they operate. He also went out of his way to check all my other windows while he was here.

I LOVE the new picture window; however, if you have a small job (one window) be prepared to wait for them to work you in. Unfortunately for us it was a 6 month process with lots of bumps in the road for 1 large window.

Our experience with Window World of Ocala has been absolutely terrific. We had 32 year old double-paned windows that were severely in need of replacement. The salesman came and gave us the information. We had already been quoted prices for replacement with Pella and Anderson windows from the big-box stores and I did notice some of the other Window World franchise locations had bad experiences which resulted in terrible reviews. We did NOT find this to be a bad experience in OUR installation. The price was a little more but we felt the features in comparison to the other name-brands, the guarantee and the sturdiness of the windows we purchased far outweighed the lower price from the other stores. This remodel was, after all, hopefully to last well into OUR lifetime since we have no plans to leave our home. We wanted to purchase the best we could get for our cost justification. The franchise in Ocala seemed to be on top of their game, the installers were excellent with a tremendous work ethic and they produced an absolutely beautiful product for our home. I can absolutely say I would highly recommend this company for anyone wishing to replace their windows.

Warning, this is the most incompetent window company I have dealt with. I have had to reschedule now 4 times to get one of their windows under warranty replaced. They broke the first two and now the installer hurt his shoulder (guess they only have one) so I wait and wait meantime costing me lost wages, time off work and delay in selling my home. A TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!

Update on our window status - after waiting 3 months for windows they go to install and have one window that was measured wrong. Still waiting for windows 2.5 months later. Terrible customer service. Dont respond to phone calls. Will not recommend them to anyone.
