I really enjoy working at Penrod Lumber & fence construction, and I continue to work for them only because of the friendly and honest atmosphere and particularly the way they treat their customers. In my two and a half years of working there, and lets just not say its because of the money, I have come to know a great deal of Penrod competition in the area and have found that even though the money is not great, it is good though, I continue to work for Penrod because I love the owners, I love my boss, hes like a father to me, and I love the customers. The kinds of customers that just want to nickel and dime you to death, I dont want them coming around. I like good honest country people that expect and know that for a business to stay in business, they need to at least make a little bit of profit. These are the customers that I enjoy dealing with day-to-day. And we build fantastic fence. And if its not great it is redone. I love working there what more could I say?

In my opinion unprofessional and they sold me in treated or poorly treated wood Post’s which only a few years later disintegrated from within. I would steer clear of using them in the future. They basically made it my problem. Offered to fix some but not the majority. Like it was too much to ask. Anyone who wants to see their job can message me and I’d show you the hollowed rotted. posts we removed and continue to remove. So if you want a company that in my opinion might build you a fence that starts rotting away in three years hire them. This is a real customer with real issues with a job done by this company. Try hey cost me tens of thousands of dollars to fix two miles of fence
