Honestly we found this restaurant by pure chance.Saturday night we went looking for a great hamburger and doing a Google search WAGYU popped up and we just happened to be with blocks of its location so off we went.The acting Hostess had us with seconds and off to a table we went.This is by far one kf the absolutely nicest looking establishments weve entered in Ocala Florida and that in itself was a huge relief for us...Within seconds of seating our Server named Rachel approached us with a huge smile and one of those boy did you stumble in the right place attitudes....Rachel asked if we have ever eaten in the restaurant before to which we replied no....Then She begin telling us the Owners were the Ranchers whom raised beef imported from Japan and raised eating specialty diets with no medications, hormones ect.....The beef at this restaurant is FANTASTIC as is everything else we tried including the Blueberry Bread Pudding!!!!Holy Cow .... Ill not tell you everything but I will tell you that if you are reading this and if you are searching for somewhere new and Good get in your car, truck motorcycle or whatever it is you travel by and go try this place....We will be back again!!!

Absolutely Fantastic! Wow, I can not give a more positive review on this place. The owner Mary was an absolutely amazing, energetic, and all around positive & funny woman. You can tell her she is very passionate about the business. We wish we were hungry enough to order one of the steaks they looked absolutely amazing. And the nice couple across from us confirmed that the fact. we did world war 1 affect burgers and I have to say was the best burger Ive ever had. The other than that came out with an order of bread pudding and explained to us her special recipe.It was the bomb. This was a wonderful experience and when we are in the area will definitely be back again.

Outstanding fresh food, freshly cut steaks which are raised by the owners. Very happy to have found this hidden gem thanks to another chefs personal recommendation. Will definitely return with my family. The Saturday breakfast offerings also sound phenomenal.

This is a small family owned restaurant. The owner Mary, you’ll find working alongside the other wait staff. She is very kind and greets everyone. The food is made fresh onsite and the beef comes from their local farm. You walk up to the counter and make your order. The order is then brought to your table. They had a nice wine and beer selection that you take yourself to your table. We got there late but there wasn’t a huge selection of meat.We ordered the New York Strip. It was cooked perfect at medium. The meat was very juicy and flavorful.The pizza is cooked in a wood oven. The tomatoes on the pizza were a bit watery and crushed red peppers were were flat and didn’t have much flavor. The owner said she would change them. The pizza is good but would recommend the beef.They had some nice sides. We tried the Mexican Corn, it was seasoned nicely and had a small bite.

Excellent high-quality food, fast, friendly and helpful service. So happy to find a meat restaurant that serves healthy, grass-fed steaks. The side dishes were yummy. Highly recommend.

Used to love this place & so convenient for me, which was so nice! Went for the first time recently since the Covid “hysteria”... they’ve reduced the menu drastically. I asked the manger if they had any healthier options to which she said- it doesn’t sell so they took healthier options off as a means to cut back. What I got was ok, but very average (as the options are pretty average as well), yet the price was not. Very pricey for what you get. Service seems to be lacking more as well. Was sad to see the direction this place is going. No reason to go back for me

Wow!!! We heard about this place and their incredible burgers. We just had to try it. We were NOT disappointed. From the moment we entered the staff made you feel welcome. They were quick to answer any questions. We later found out one of our servers, Mary, was one of the owners. She made us feel so welcome and appeared the same with other guests. She has a great sense of humor. The food was nothing less than perfect. I rarely say that, but it really was. Everything is fresh and made there. It was prepared exactly as we asked and then Mary and other staff continually checked to make sure it the same. For what we got, I really felt the price could not be beaten. This is the best burger I have ever had...cant wait to return!

I have friends that love this place and will give it 5 stars every time. However, after several visits, Im not there yet!Burgers are never frozen home grown beef and you can taste it. Warning, always get the 1/2 pound portion as they make the burger from scratch when you order. Unless you like well done, the smaller portion is too skinny to cook successfully any other way.Obviously the beef is the best product here. Meatloaf is outstanding but I do feel the stakes are very overpriced. $63 for a Ribeye? It really is not so special for that price.Service is hit and miss. Some of the servers could use a little more training when it comes to Attentiveness! However, overall its acceptable and all the staff are polite and friendly - they do do their best.Avoid the sprouts! Deep fried, hard and dry.Good selection of homemade deserts.My biggest complaint? This place is a little noisy if it gets more than 50% full. Due to its open plan setup, hard furnishings and décor, sound is not absorbed by the environment.Overall, pleasant night out (better during quiet periods). Has its own unique character. Good people. Quality food but a little overpriced.

Very friendly, food was fabulous, would recommend it to everyone. Mary the owner visits every table and talks to you, makes you feel like your in her home. Will definitely go back, we visit monthly.

The owner is very sweet, kind and visits the tables and talks to customers. I will definitely be back again. The meat is very juicy and it spills onto the burger bun(if you get a burger) and gives it incredible flavor. Would definitely recommend.

I must say we went to this restaurant because a friend told us about it and I must say the staff and owner were very nice. The menu was very good so we had a steak sandwich and the pizza I have to say it was delicious and very different from what I thought it would be I would recommend to anyone who wants a very unique meal not cheap but well worth it. Sorry no pictures I ate it to fast😂

Not the best burger I ever had especially for the price.

Nice small roomy good quality restaurant. Superior quality food, service was wonderful. Very tasty tasty food. Definately I will visit frequently. Highly recommended, I suggest making reservations.

The good news first. Service was decent, vegetable soup seriously awesome. Other than that, unless your idea of a dinner out is pizza or burger fare, the steaks are WAY overpriced, I make better deviled eggs at home, and the chopped salad was underwhelming. Desert was dark chocolate bread pudding, and it was edible, nothing to write home about. My friends burger was overcooked, nothing like she ordered; she seemed disappointed overall. I waited online to pay at the register for an interminable length of time while the cashier carried on a conversation with a guest 2 people in front of me about some mugs she was thinking of purchasing, and in the end didnt even buy them. Pretty maddening. There are much better places to eat in Ocala.

This place was a delight. Excellent service and food. A little pricey but the quality of the food is worth every penny so its still a great value. Do yourself a favor and eat here! Your will not regret one bite.

My ribeye was amazing and our Brussels sprouts were the best Ive ever had! My husbands wild caught salmon special with curried sweet potatoes and beets was also excellent. The blueberry bread pudding with vanilla custard is well worth saving room for! Everyone was very nice and attentive. We enjoyed our interaction with Mary, the owner.

Everything here is amazing, outstanding burger, great fries and sweet potato fries, even the brussel sprouts. Great tasting, fresh food! It might be a little expensive but well worth it.

I am sitting here on a Friday night at 8:07pm which is 1 hour and 23 minutes after we ordered our appetizers... still no appetizers.They did however bring us some popcorn about 45 minutes ago... pretty sure it was one of the owners. Nice lady.I had to flag down our waitress to get a refill... I think most of the servers are avoiding the dining room.I have invested too much time to not wait it out and see if at least the food is good. Wish me luck.

The food quality was excellent! The blackened Mahi sandwich was the perfectly cooked and the burgers were tasty. We will try one of the wagyu steaks on our next visit. Something unique happened at the checkout counter where we were informed that tipping was voluntary,cash only, because the owner believes in paying their staff a living wage!

I cannot stress enough how much we enjoy this awesome restaurant. We have never had one bad thing here. the wine list has great options and servers rock!

If your looking to try something different, stop in, the roasted peppers seasoned with smoked salt/pepper & fried zucchini appetizers were very good, I had the salmon with sweet potato wedges & asparagus with sliced bacon, my husband had the hamburger a good size burger!, sadly we were too stuffed for Dessert! Definitely worth a second visit, want to try the pizzas next time

Best steak i have ever had, best burgers i have ever tried (my wife ordered a burger and had me try it). High quality made from scratch food with super friendly staff. Definitely will return in the future. I never imagined Ocala could have such great food!

First time visiting and absolutely loved everything about it. First the owner, Mary, is one of the sweetest ladies you can meet. Then the food is just incredibly and tastefully well done. Mary and her staff greeted us at the door and explained how to order and told us about the restaurant, they even offered us a drink while we decided on what we wanted to eat. ( First time it is a little confusing since you order at the counter then they serve you at your table.)My husband and friends had the NY Strip and said it was very tasty. I had a burger and their famous fries and sweet potato fries which were delicious.We will be back. I want to try their pizza cooked in a brick oven over an open fire.Thanks Mary we had enjoyable dinner

This place is fantastic! Everything is organic and homemade in house. The wagyu beef burgers are the best I’ve had. The service was wonderful. I have a special diet and the staff catered to it with no problems. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. I will definitely go back again.

Consistently good food, wagyu beef is local and awesome! Good selection of organic and natural snacks. Not a cheap place but a good value for the quality and service. Dont forget the chocolate chunk cookies, those alone are worth a stop. Call ahead and Mary will bake a batch if they run out!

Interesting menu, friendly and helpful staff. Labelled as “sharing, but small portions not really conducive to sharing. Small selection of beers and wines. All dishes combined multiple interesting textures and flavours. Same reclaimed wood and Edison fixtures as the other hipster places.

Really like the atmosphere and food here. It is like a combination deli casual restaurant. Any of the steaks and burgers are absolutely delicious. I recommend stopping by on Saturday mornings for breakfast.

We ate here for the first time and would not go back. We didnt expect it to be deli style but that was ok although seeing a regular menu with prices would have been preferred. We ordered a hamburger and a steak sandwich. The hamburger was delicious and one could justify the $15 price. The steak sandwich was small and tasty but definitely not worth the $21 price. With an order of fries and 2 sodas our bill came to over $45. Although the food was good it was definitely overpriced.

Great food had pizza one time and hamburger the next

We went on Thursday, it wasnt too busy. The night started poorly when they told us they we couldnt order any of the pizzas on the menu because their pizza cook had night classes (the menu isnt that big to begin with, fish, steak, sandwiches, speciality hamburgers (1/3 menu), salads and speciality pizzas (1/3 menu). We waited over 1.5 hours for meal to be served from time ordered. When it was finally served, food was not cooked as ordered, service was exceptionally slow and the owners comment to me was we have a really small kitchen, probably smaller than yours at home, to which I wondered why they had so many tables if you cant service them properly. They didnt charge us for the overcooked meal but it was still over $200 for 4 couples without the tip, which you MUST pay in cash. Do yourself a favor and go just about anyplace else.

One word sums up our visit: Freaking Amazing!Just for fun, our family started a 2019 quest to find the best waygu burger in West Florida.We have been nearly everywhere so it was nothing to drive the 2+ hours north to Ocala to try this new (to us) place.Our server (Erin) was great, and spoiled us while we were there.The owner (Mary) spent time at our table answering our questions about the history of her ranch, store, restaurant and the influences behind their phenominal menu.Waygu burgers all around...they melted in our mouths, and absolute winner of best waygu burgers out of ALL the places we have been, all over the state.Shishito peppers, jalepeno poppers, and roasted brussel sprouts as appetizers...phenomenal.Since our visit, we have used thier website to order 4lbs of that delicious waygu beef to be shipped to our house for an upcoming event.Chef Greg called me personally to confirm everything we needed and looking forward to that delivery!Bottomline - If you find yourself in Ocala area, and do not stop in for a meal, you have made a mistake that your tastebuds will never forgive you for!

Being a farmer and cattlemen myself I strive to buy local and eat local and this place is the top of my list never a bad meal and always fresh the whole crew are the absolute best!

Wow I stumbled upon a gold mine! Honestly must say the entire experience was great! From the moment I opened the door I felt like they were genuinely happy to see me. I ordered their specialty gourmet burger, medium rare, it showed up exactly how I like it and on a delicious toasted roll. The entire staff was friendly, the owners asked me how I was doing personally. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and probably the best burger I have had in the states. I will be back!

The Wagyu rib eye was the toughest cut of beef I ever had. I do not recommend this place. Medium rare and could barely cut with steak knife.

I really enjoyed the itomishi* burger. The meat was juicy and tender and the bun was soft on the outside and nicely toasted on the inside. Cant wait to try my next one.

Mary and everyone at the Blue Wagyu are always so nice -- especially to the kids. This is no cheap date location - the prices are very brisk, but you definitely get a phenomenal meal of absolutely the best food, no matter what you order. My squeeze had the baked Salmon special, the girls had a hamburger and a Caesar salad (with grilled chicken) and I had the very best burger in Central Florida. We added two orders of fries, served with homemade catsup.The drink glasses are huge according to the girls and they each received a free ice cream. Creating a memorable customer experience seems to be second nature to everyone who works here.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. I think the 1 star review claiming that its gross, is absolutely inaccurate, as I have been here several times.The food has that undeniably clean taste. The burgers are the best Ive had in my entire life, to the point where nothing comes close. They also have incredible MacNCheese.I will say their organic drinks (such as the fermented stuff) are a little off, and its not for me, but if youre into organic stuff, Im sure youre familiar with some of their stock.This place is an absolute must!

My favorite place to eat in Ocala! Casual chic atmosphere. The food is prepared with pride, creativity with only the best, fresh, local ingredients. ( Local as in their cherished herd of cattle are right around the corner) not just for meat eaters as other menu items that will satisfy a picky kid or Gormand. Ask for Mary the owner or Greg ( owners) and they will tell you all about the herd. Pretty neat story they have! The burgers are named after their bulls. Tell em Karen sent you!

Eat here most weekends. The Mahi sandwich is incredible! Sweet potatoes fried n garlic aioli is phenomenal. Havent had a bad meal in the last three years. Steaks are wagu - tender and depicious. Cant recommend the burgers and pizzas enough. Say hi to Mary and get the best service anywhere. And the iced tea is great.

I feel bad for the employees there I bet they cant get people to stay or fire them and not give them a chance. Get your organic food at a different location.
