Ok this place is like a gold dumpster dive experience. Make time to go to the Landry matt on your way home, Maybe bring gloves and a mask if you have allergies. And find something good!

Four of us went to the Ocala Outlet on 2/20/20. It was an interesting experience! There are a LOT of fantastic bargains to be had - assuming you can deal with the few NASTY (and I do mean NASTY) shoppers there. The manager, Kat, and the cashiers, along with the folks putting the bins out, were very nice and very helpful. Well definitely be back.

Went there yesterday to find out their hours of operation have changed now they open at 7:30 am to 2:30 pm and they take away the bins by 2:00 pm. This is why I only gave them 4 stars!! Overall although I arrived at 12 pm was still able to get some good stuff, from Kenneth Cole, Ann Taylor and some Banana Republic clothing. You cant beat the pricing on clothing is 1.49 a lb. Spent $30 and got about 36 items at about .69 cents ea. Great deals

Its what you would expect for a bins experience. Its chaotic and you should come prepared with bags to store your finds in. Carts have to be placed against the walls. There are always an array of characters there. The scores are fun and usually always a great pile to leave with. Pricing is by weight and the checkout lines take an especially long time.

Best Goodwill outlet I have ever been to. No fighting over junk like they do in Orlando. I found some really nice items for $1.50 a pound

Im a fan of this goodwill, I like digging through the bins and finding random treasures! Sure it smells funny sometimes, but you have to remember you are digging through all sorts of random stuff that people donate, you never know where it came from. Be prepared to be on your feet and bending over the bins the entire time. It is certainly not a quick stop in. Sometimes you can find pretty nice brand name thing! Cant beat buying clothes by the pound! I once found a short sleeve wetsuit...i think I only paid about $5 for it!

One cashier and a huge line. People are spending hundreds of dollars a day for resale. They should hire two new cashiers.

I gave this shop a one star, but would have given it less if I could. It smelled and everything was thrown in bins to be rummaged through. The atmosphere was wierd and awkward.

The manager there was so incredibly rude. She was very demeaning to her employees, and she was very unorganized. The experience was not smooth at all as she couldn’t get organized and get bins out, and had her own rules she yelled at customers for breaking even though she never told them. Many customers were complaining and a few left. Ill drive further to Orlando next time just to not have to go here

Pays better than the scratch offs. Every day at least Mac and cheese. No ICE COMPRENDO. All the flea market vendors hit the scene. They do the dumpster swan dive. Head first baby..! (jokin dummy) old antiques, gold, silver, rare items galore. Many here make a living on ebay. (serious). Like reachin in yo drunk mamas purse (too far maybe..sorry, sorry, ok). Wash underarm pits is mandatory. I know cause people keep complaining, jeese...

I love love love this store. Every time we visit Gainesville ( we live in Georgia!! ) we always drive to Ocala to shop at this store!!!! Love the employees too.

We didnt have much time to look around because we got there at about 3:45 and they announced shortly after that everyone had to get in line because they were closing at 4. My wife was in line while I tried to proceed to walk through the aisles and see what else they had and a woman (I assume the manager) with quite an attitude yelled at me n a few others looking around that everyone had to be in line now. Other than her bad attitude towards customers and even it seemed the way she spoke to other employees it seemed you could get descent deals.

This place is the final resting spot for all the stuff that didnt get sold in the other Goodwill stores. There are bins piled high with clothes, books and everything else you can think of. The place is full of people shopping and looks dumpy. The reason I gave it 5 stars is because they are staffed by people who are physically and mentally challenged. I absolutely loved seeing all the people who probably would not have been employed elsewhere, being given a job that is honorable and meaningful. Although I will probably never find my way to this store again, I want to applaud what this Goodwill store is doing, the benefits of which goes far beyond profit and loss statements. I have not seen this hiring policy repeated in other Goodwill stores, (in spite of their commercials) so maybe this is a special place indeed. It is fun to go rummaging through the bins, kind of like a scavenger hunt, to see what you might find. While I was digging through the book bins, a guy picked up a book I wanted. He had two shopping carts full of books. I asked him about the book he had in his hand and he put it in his cart and continued digging. He said he had a store in Jacksonville and came that day to buy books, which are sold by the pound. I personally think that is an expensive way to purchase books and can do a lot better at my local library used book store where books can be purchased for ten cents. I actually heard one lady ask her friend on the way if she had fun! I know I did. It felt like I was on the hunt for buried treasure. In places like that you never know what you might find. Keep on digging.

The store is what you expect it to be as a outlet store for a second hand store they carry goods most that are not up to par to sell in their retail stores.so alot of very poor quality items. The staff though is terrific always a pleasure to deal with and why they get a 4 star rating from me.

This is an outlet store where you rummage through items in bins and they sell it by the pound. 60 cents per pound pretty much of knicknacks, can be confusing for a first timer. They have all these rules where you have to park your cart alongside a wall while you look, but its pretty cool though, this is about as close to dumpster diving as you can get...

The store was very nasty. The inside of the clothing bins were gross and dirty. People acted like they were in a panic tossing items everywhere. We love thrift stores and have shopped them for 30+ years. This store unfortunately was more like a junk store. Maybe they didnt have time to clean or put new product out, dunno. Dont waste your time, serious diseaster.

I always find good deals, they are happy to help and they get in some pretty interesting stuff.

This has to be the worst shopping experience Ive ever had. The entire store smelled strong of urine. People where throwing clothing everywhere and where extremely rude, as if there were not enough filth to go around. We left empty handed, thankfully. Id avoid this place. filthy, dirty, nasty!

This is an outlet Goodwill. It was fun to dig through literally piles and pay by weight.

Only giving 4 stars because I dont like the time change and they take the bins away by 12 even though they dont close til 2 qnd before they didnt take the bins away at all. Otherwise I love this store.

The ocala Goodwill Store on SR 0 claims to be a Weigh/Pay store. It is not. called Chris West yesterday to make complaint about ocala weih/pay store. No one bothered to call back. This store advertises as a pay/weigh store but when you get to register they have a list of SEVENTY yes 70 different items not weigh/pay that they sometime use/ sometimes dont. Rude manager Also een though store hours are to 2 pm - 2/3 of store is closed after 11 am. WOW.

They could do a lot better when it comes to customers service, not the helpers its the employees

Its OK. Ive found some good items here. But they close way too early and start taking bins back by noon.

Great deals but super busy and takes forever to get rung up. Almost everything sold by the pound​. If youre not braced for that, it can get overwhelming.

1st time and will be my last time why? Place smells like piss, long lines. Dont know why they put stuffs in bins, I look in the bins broken electronic in pieces, why cant they get shelves and on clothes racks

Prices are pretty good, categories of goods presorted, staff very rude and short with customers.

You really have to search but sometimes you find that just right thing that you want at a great price. You pay by the pound.

A disorganized mess with everything simply dumped in large gondolas. Pricing at this store is by the pound, not per item. There may be bargains, but you will need to dig through a bunch of unwanted items to find them.

Its not a safe place for a purse or a bicycle owner to shop. I lost a bicycle light while visiting the local Goodwill store the day before Friday the 13th. If I ever visit again in the future I will leave my bike light in my locking cart and avoid putting it in my purse or leaving it on the bike its to much temptation for some human beings.

Items sold by the pound no matter what you buy. Lots of digging in rolling bins overflowing with bedding, clothing, toys, books and much more. Hit and miss so visit often.

Its a training facility for the real store located near by. Its always crowded and you have to rummage through bins and try to find what you want.
