WORST EXPERIENCE - If there were a zero rating, thats what it would be. Walked in with my friend whos the mother of the bride. The owner, Donna, sat knitting and never even lifted her head to greet us. However, her dog crawled out from one of the wedding dresses on display.She asked what we were looking for and we pointed to a mannequin and simply said, Well, not something like that, Im looking for something a bit more youthful. Donna responded with, Oh, right, youre above that. Youre elite and continued to be very condescending and rude. I tried to defend what I said and she just continued to berate us. Finally told her she was rude & condescending and walked out.

Today I went shopping with my friend Katy for a wedding dress. We had a tight budget and even tighter time frame. Dana was accommodating, very pleasant and helpful. We left with a perfect dress that she altered in less than 10 minutes for a reasonable price. I would recommend her services to anyone looking for a gown for any special occasion.

I was looking for a mother of the groom dress in a size 20. I was dreading the task. I was amazed at the plethora of choices in dress styles and colors for larger women. Donna and her assistant could not have been more attentive and helpful. Their assistance, attentiveness, and recommendations were impeccable. My experience was thoroughly enjoyable. I found the perfect dress for this special occasion.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I purchased a bridesmaid dress from Donna over the phone. While speaking with her she actually bad-mouthed the bride and then had the audacity to try to get me to come in to find a wedding dress for my wedding. Not only is she rude and completely unprofessional but she ordered the dress in the WRONG COLOR. We received five IVORY bridesmaid dresses which were the identical color of the brides dress and were completely unusable. The dresses arrived two weeks before the wedding and she made absolutely no attempt to rectify the situation at all. What makes it even better is that an employee of hers accept the dresses back! And she still refused to refund $240 for a dress I no longer even own. I was never sent any receipt or proof of my transaction and cannot even dispute the claim because the receipt she sent my credit card company had no color marked and I cannot prove my order was incorrect. Had she actually done her job right and sent me a copy of the receipt I could have at least had the opportunity to point out her mistake.After visiting many other shops for my own wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses I can honestly say that Here Comes the Bride has provided me with the most uncomfortable, unprofessional experience imaginable. I truly hope no bride or bridesmaid ever has the displeasure of shopping here.

Donna and her assistant were so helpful. I was very explicit on what I wanted and she had plenty to choose from. I went into other bridal shops and they had few dresses for my body type. Her shop had many options since I was looking for sleeves. The dress I really likes looked fabulous and she put this undergarment on me that made me look amazing. I felt very comfortable there and she showed me things that fit my budget. I really liked this one dress but ended up getting a lace simple dress being my wedding is a sit down dinner with 25 ppl. However Donna, I loved the mermaid dress it looked so good on and still think of it. I know it needs very few alterations and can buy the floor model but my mom says I dont need such a dress for this type of wedding. However thanks for making me feel beautiful. It was a great experience and I may be in to get that corset thing I loved it.

I would like to let everyone know what a great experience I had with the Business owner of this store, she is wonderful. She was very helpful in helping me out when I was in a jam. Could not have been happier, cant wait to go back. Thank you again

I concur with the girl who wanted to give Zero stars! My experience was horrendous from beginning to end. Donna, the dress shop owner should close the doors to her shop now. She is rude, arrogant and has NO idea of the concept of customer service! My daughter purchased a bridesmaid dress in March...she was fitted 5 times because the dress wouldnt come close to zippering....could this task really be that difficult if the dress was ordered correctly?? I think not. There were 10 girls in the wedding party, not ONE dress fit when they came in, and Donna continued to mix the gowns up through the past 5 months and then altering and re altering them and charging the girls each time!! Who does this??? The wedding was at the end of Aug, as I said we purchased the dresses in March. Donna still didnt have 2 of the dress done 3 hours before the wedding ceremony!!!!! But you better believe she had the girls credit card payments well before that. After being in the store 5 times for senseless fittings the dress was hemmed for someone 51 and my daughter is 55....she had to wear flip flops to the wedding because the dress was hemmed aftercountless reminders that we did NOT want a hem. Three of the girls dresses split at the waist during the reception because they were WAY too small. The dresses were overpriced, horrible quality and a nightmare. Donna, the owner, never once took responsibility for anything, constantly blaming anyone she could think of ....but again, never missed the opportunity to swipe a credit card. She should be taken to court for fraud and theft....at one point after my daughter telling her that she didnt have any more money for the dress...we had already paid in full and paid for alterations, she looked in my daughters wallet and told her she could see her credit card. My daughter was bullied into giving it to her for, yes ANOTHER alteration!! This was the hem that was NOT supposed to be done!!!! If you read this RUN from the store dont walk...there are plenty of reputable dress places in the area......this woman is a thief!!!

The reviews that I have been reading confuse me. I had the complete opposite experience with this boutique so far. I had two trips to try on gowns and make my decision. Donna was very patient with me and I loved my experience.I also recommended my recently engaged best friend to Donna and we had a another great experience with her.I think people should give Donna a chance and not just read all these negative reviews and immediately write this boutique off. I always follow the philosophy that you should not judge a book by its cover and in this instance, it really paid off for me.I would recommend her shop again in a heart beat.

I am deeply sadden to read these reviews! I can HONESTLY say that my experience with Donna and her staff was incredible. I got in and out of countless dresses and they were very, very patient. I finally decided on one that I loved by Maggie Sottero. As many of you know, she is not a cheap designer. My dress was listed at about 2,000 dollars and Donna cut me an incredible deal! I had such a nice time and I made a wonderful memories. I would really recommend this store. I didnt even read the reviews until after the fact and Im glad I didnt! Dont judge a book by its cover people!

What a weird experience. She barely helped. Her dresses were not accessible. She told us well this isnt a Davids Bridal. There was one dressing area with no one assisting with trying on or fitting. On the way out we noticed her dog was in the corner. I told my boyfriend about the experience and he remembers getting fitted for a suit and the same dog stole his shoe and ran away. How professional! This place needs to close! Wow.

I too, would have given a zero for a review if that was an option. I think the only positive reviews on here, are from the shop owner. For instance, Donna S is defintiley the owner....you can google it. Donna is so rude and isnt afraid to offend anyone, even at the cost of their business. I have also seen her put her hand up as if to stop you and tell you not to come any further until youre invited. I have heard her tell people that the shop was limited to the number of people that could be in there at one time, (two people?!!). Terrible experience and awful customer service. I would never recommend this shop to anyone. I lost a $350 deposit for an error that Donna made and refused to refund the money. Im not sure how shes even still in business but please consider shopping elsewhere if you would like a pleasant, drama-free bridal experience. There is something truly wrong.......

I have a feeling that Tinas review is from the owner Donna. I just recently had the WORST experience at this store & it was with the owner Donna. When I was fitted for my bridesmaid dress I was 4 months pregnant. I told Donna that I am usually a size 8-12 in gowns, depending on the make & that I was due to have my baby 8 weeks prior to the wedding & that I would need a bigger gown, a size 16 or 18. When I got the gown from my friend it was about 4 weeks prior to the wedding. When I tried it on it would not even come close to zipping. I looked at the size & it was a 14. I called immediately & spoke with Donna. I asked her what size dress she ordered me & she looked at the paperwork which said a large. I asked what does a large mean? Are we ordering tee shorts? I asked for a new dress & was told by Donna without even taking a breath it was too late to order a new dress & that they would fix it by removing the zipper & adding a corset. Well the bride did not want that or that is the type of dress she would have picked out. I told her they ordered me the wrong size. Long story short she told me about recent girls who have come in after having a baby that fit fine in their dresses because they run & exercise. I was appalled. I eventually had to take the dress to a tailor & was charged $120 on top of paying $175 for the dress. The fabric alone costed me $50 to add to the dress. I spoke with Donna several times & she told me I paid too much for alterations & that I told her to order me a size 14. She wouldnt even say I am sorry or anything. She put all of the blame on me. This woman is ignorant & I would NEVER EVER refer her to anyone. DO NOT go to her store

The dresses were OK in this shop. My mother had a decent experience years ago buying a formal dress here. In April, I went into this store for a wedding dress for myself. I can assure you...I will never, ever walk into this store again, suggest it to anyone ...and I will put my review of one star everywhere. The owner of this store is.....horrible. She has no business being in the wedding business......I left this store in tears...and realized there just must be something very fundamentally wrong with her. Caution to brides and Mothers of brides.....do yourself a favor...go somewhere else. I had an incredible experience at Wedding Belles in Northfield....and also at Davids Bridal. I liked a dress at Here Comes the Bride.....but, there is no way I would have walked in the door of that store again.

I would advise EVERYONE to NEVER visit this shop. I have had a couple encounters with the owner of the store, Donna. I am a high school student and right off the bat I got a strange feeling about her. Not only was she extremely rude and ignorant, but she also tried to get me to give her my mothers credit card number. Very pushy women (obviously because of the lack of business she receives). The second time I went into her store I was with a couple of friends doing some last minute shopping for prom. We were completely respectful, and quiet. Donna then comes over and calls us an Army Troop. In fact, she made that statement directly at my friend who is Mexican. She then lectured us about how this isnt a field trip and that in a professional business, we are required to come in with a parent. Which I understand, however, she then made insulting comments to us, hinting that she wanted us out. For about 5 minutes she continued talking about how her store is a Professional Business But In kindly let her know that she is not going to make any business because of the way she treats her customers. Of course she looked surprised, and asked what grade I was in. I told her it was irrelevant because no matter how old I was, I was still much more mature than she is. Then she called me rude and kicked us out. This Donna women is not worth your time. I repeat, NEVER VISIT THIS SHOP. And Donna, if you are reading these comments, the word about your inappropriate behavior towards your customers is being spread all throughout the internet, and you will learn your lesson. Had such a bad experience!... Im not usually the type to write reviews but I dont want anyone to be blindsided like I was... Donna was completely unprofessional once she got her money. Her seamstress did a terrible job on my dress. Looked like a kid had done it. Super sloppy... even with that, I just accepted it. When I got home, the pieces started falling apart n seams started coming undone!!! I go back to show Donna, the store owner, and she says its not that bad and that she doesnt want to get into the middle of it!.. if its ur store and shes your seamstress, doesnt that already put u in the middle?!.. after all was said and done, she says to me: I think u are overreacting for money (direct words!)... I had to pay twice, once to have my dress messed up and again to have someone else fix it!... it really wouldnt have been so bad had she not taken such a horrible, nasty attitude!! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Terrible experience. I went here with my mom and sister to try on wedding gowns and the owner and her dog were a nightmare and her dog was just the start of it! When we first walked in we were eagerly greeted by a very cute dog. Within just a few minutes the cute dog was biting and tugging at the bows on my sisters shoes and sticking his paws under her feet tripping her. When my sister asked the owner to grab her dog she got snippy with my sister saying he was fine. Sure her dog was fine but my sister wasnt. Then the dog grabbed my moms handbag and ran away with it. My mom and the owner had to chase the dog around and get her handbag back and when my mom went into her handbag a few minutes later to pull out her phone she realized it was missing and found it being chewed on by the dog. The owner did not get the phone back for my mom instead my mom had to chase the dog and get her phone back. The owner never apologized or offer to buy my mom a new phone. Then the dog jumped up and went into my sisters handbag and pulled out an item and ran off with it and he owner had to retrieve it. The owner instead of apologizing for her misbehaved dog turned to an employee of hers and said they keep putting things where the dog can get it. When I was trying on dresses I would make comments to my mom and my sister about what I did or didnt like about the dress I was trying and they would share their thoughts with me...you know, the things that you are supposed to talk about in order to eliminate dresses or decide its the one. The moment I would make a single negative comment about the dress the owner would grab me by my arm and pull me away from the mirror and tell me to get the dress off because it obviously isnt the one. We actually got into a verbal altercation in the dressing room because she didnt even want me to leave the dressing room to show my family a dress because I had said one negative thing about it in the dressing room about it needing more crinoline which could have been easily added, instead she jus wanted me to take it off. Every time I put a new dress on I had to climb over the dog to get out of the fitting room which isnt an easy task without tripping over the dress or the dog and she would never make him move out of my way instead would just make me climb over him without trying to kill myself and as I climbed over him would yell at me for not picking the dress up high enough off the ground. Then every time I stood in front of the mirror to look at the dress the dog would lay on the train of the dress and I couldnt spin around to view all angles of the dress because the dog was laying on it and again she never made him move. How can you let this dog lay all over the sample dresses but yell at me for not picking it up off the ground high enough while trying to climb over your dog? She also had an elderly lady come in when I was there wanting to look at a pair of shoes. The dog jumped all over the elderly woman and she asked the owner to grab the dog and the owner again said the dog was fine-again the dog was fine but her customer wasnt. Then she told the lady she would have to come back later because she was busy helping me. We told her it would be ok to help the lady but she still told the lady to leave. Once the lady left the owner made a comment that it was her regular shoe lady and she never buys anything anyway. I couldnt believe she was talking about a customer like that in front of us. I was so frustrated by the whole experience that I never finished tying on the dresses I picked out and had to just walk out. The owner had the nerve to say to my sister that I just didnt seem into it so that is why I couldnt find a dress. I just wasnt into her grabbing me and shoving me around, her snippy attitude, her misbehaved dog, and just overall lack of professionalism! So excuse me if I just wasnt into it! Not recommended to anyone ever!

My 24 year old daughter and I visited this shop. ONCE. BRIEFLY. It was a lovely day and my daughter and I were both excited to go shopping and find her dream wedding gown. When we entered the shop, first thing you noticed was the scent of stale cigarette smoke ( not a good sign). The woman there was jaw-flapping on the phone and as we walked up, she held her hand up in a STOP position and continued to chat as if we werent even there! I grabbed my daughters hand and we made our turn to go. Surprisingly, the woman shouted as we were leaving. Thanks for visiting, come again soon! With service like that, Im surprised that they have ANY business at all.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! i have never in my life dealt with such an unorganized place in my life!!! the store was in the middle of moving into a new location in Ocean City and we had to wait over 2 hours for the owner to show up after we made almost 3 attempt to track her down between both the new store and the old one in somers point. after waiting 2 hours she finally showed up with her disgusting dog that was jumping all over us and my daughter. the store was a mess nothing what set up there was no heat. after picking out a vest for my dad we went to pay with my debit card and she had no card machine cash only, so i had to bring back the money again since she did not tell us before hand to have the cash handy. After the event my dad tried multiple times to reach her as well as did i on both the store location and her cell phone. i finally got a call back from her the Thursday after the even and she told me the time frames she would be at the shop. again not at all the times listed that she is open. my dad took the vest over today at 1 and she proceeded to tell him he would not be getting his security deposit back. i then called her asking why and she stated its because it was not returned the monday after the event. i then told her that my dad drove over not just monday but also tuesday to try and return it and again no one was there! she proceeded to tell me that unfortunately there is nothing she could do, even tho she knows shes not at the store and does not have staff at the store during her hours listed from 11-4. I work in the wedding/entertainment industry myself and i WILL NEVER refer any of my customers to this establishment.

This store has the worst customer service, terrible prying invasive questions and a judgmental staff. My wife had an absolutely awful time there buying a dress and I would never recommend this store to anyone.

I wish I could give this place no stars. Do not shop here. The customer service is terrible. The people who work here are rude. Their website is atrocious to navigate. They have no business sense.

Owner is very knowledgeable and kind.

Pushy and horrible older woman runs this store/works here. She needs to get into another line of work, there are many other options.
