Whenever my family and I go on vacation we like to try out different local specialty donut shops and its usually never an issue finding one because it seems like they are popping up all over the place. We like to try the different donut flavors and topping combinations they come up with and we are never disappointed. So the Drip and Scoop in OC NJ was no exception to the rule. We were definitely not disappointed from thePB and J donut to the Smores, the Caramel Apple and of course you cant forget the Peanut Butter Cup premium and the Maple Bacon. The list goes on and on and on to the point that there is something for everyone no matter what kind of donut or donuts you like. Also true to its name they have coffee and ice cream as well but we went for the donuts. I really loved the atmosphere the shop provided with the natural wood countertops, tables, chairs and stools it gave me a felling like I just wanted to hang out and eat my donut. The staff were friendly and easygoing and the shop very clean and organized. They also had outside seating and a bathroom. Very cool place I hope the pictures do it some justice and entice you to give them a visit.

This place has a big presence in Ocean City. Past this downtown location, they have a spot on the boardwalk (Flanders Hotel) and a food truck that hangs out at Sandhouse.I like the mix of coffee, ice cream, and donuts they offer. The donut selection rotates but they are never hot because they sit out on the counter. People seem to love this but I would prefer if they were made to order.We grabbed four donuts and sat at a table outside. I will probably not be back because there are so many places to get donuts in OC but if you are in town and want a sweet snack or coffee, definitely stop in here.Great staff and friendly service.

Not really a coffee drinker myself but my wife said their coffee was great and there some really nice treats in there. I had a chocolate peanut butter doughnut. Amazing!!

Ice cream, doughnuts, coffee oh my! Great place for an afternoon snack. Ice cream portions are generous and priced very fairly. Coffee and doughnuts where also good. I would recommend you give this place a try.

Hello all my dreams.About 12 kinds of ice cream, lots of coffee options and a solid selection of donuts too.We got vanilla, chocolate, cinnamon sugar, peanut butter, m&m and lastly maple bacon.Staff is supernice ( shout out Anthony for solid coffees and the bacon donut rec!) and this was a nice vibe for us to chill and people watch.“DOUGH-NOT” miss out on the cool spot ( pun intended 😉)xo

Good coffee. Almost got a donut called worms in the dirt. But I steeled myself. Good place for a guy to hide while his wife is in Ta Da! Enjoyed walking down Asbury. Similar feed to my high school days. The stores are all different. Cant remember the name of the mens store back in the 60s.

Stopped by with the kids to try the Belgian Liege waffle and ice cream. A popular websites description of what a good Liege waffle was as follows: A good Liège waffle is ridiculously delicious in a way that transcends toppings or adornments. They are simply unneeded. The rich, brioche-like dough, laced with half-melted chunks of pearl sugar, stands out on its flavor and unique texture alone. Unfortunately, the waffle we were served was far from rich or brioche- like and lacked any true sweetness, just very bland and somewhat undercooked inside. The ice cream was good of course but the waffles were the draw and sorry to say but a frozen Eggo waffle would have tasted better.

Visited Drip N Scoop for the first time today. What a wonderful experience. The barista, Maylonie was so welcoming and helpful. She asked me what I wanted and was patient as I told her that I wanted to try something new but I didnt know what to get. After she asked a few good questions, she introduced me to a drink she thought I would enjoy. It was perfect! Great customer service! Another employee, Alex, takes such pride in his work, it is reflected in the way he makes sure every customer knows they are appreciated. Each employee was so dedicated, they all seemed to own the cafe. The manager seemed to highly value her employees. They make a great tem. This cafe is a great find. Count me in as a repeat customer.

Staffers very friendly. Forgot a few elements to a Sundae and forgot the syrup in the milkshake, not something to complain about, everyone makes some mistakes from time to time.

Nice donuts, I do prefer another donut place in OC but these were good too. Friendly service which is what kicks it up to 5 stars.

Disappointed. My parents talked this place up so much so my expectations were set high. After my family ordered and had our ice cream, the workers then told us they didnt have spoons and asked if we wanted a fork. Wish they told us sooner. And they werent apologetic about the weird situation- they could have cared less & didnt want to be bothered which rubbed me and the people I was with the wrong way, especially since people got ice cream in a cup so when it melts idk howd youd get it out with a fork. My husband got a waffle cone, but thought it tasted raw. The ice cream wasnt that great. Overall, just was very disappointed & let down.

The ice cream and donuts are great but every time we go the staff is extremely rude. This is a big disappointment because my wife and I both like the place. Please take some time and focus on customer service!!

This has been such a summer staple for me for several years now. I pretty much never go to Ocean City without popping in here and grabbing their lavender lemonade. Obsessed! I also really enjoy their lemon poppy seed donut and recently their Hot n Honey donut.

I tried the donut sandwich with a vanilla pumpkin spice donut and pumpkin pie ice cream - very tasty. Also took a peanut butter cup donut to go. Service was great and the quietness of the off-season made this a nice time to relax and enjoy.

Food was great, they were out of a few flavors I would have chosen, but great experience nonetheless!

The s’mores donut was incredible. The staff was friendly and patient. Atmosphere is very cute, and the price was reasonable. Also, the bathroom was clean, which is a big plus. Overall, a good find!

Last couple times had a horrible experience. The time before the girl was so rude because we ordered ice cream over a waffle. And last 2 trips they told us theyre currently not making waffles anymore. How are they not making waffles anymore when thats their main attraction? Well if theyre not making ice cream over waffles anymore then were not going there anymore. Tbh I sometimes think theyre lying because they dont feel like making waffles. Regardless, waste of my time coming here the last few trips.

Great doughnuts & better coffee.

Im not sure what to give a review about but the coffee is outstanding in the donuts or even better. Update: we went back this evening and had donuts and ice cream. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the ice cream was fresh and delicious and the donuts are still awesome.

I came for a doughnut and they had already threw them away .. went back for a doughnut ice cream sandwich and it wasn’t sandwiched. just a whole stale doughnut on top of ice cream.

Took our grandkids here for hand dipped ice cream! Great service, fun atmosphere, great value for the price! Our grandkids loved it!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Awesome place to get both coffee and ice cream in downtown Ocean City! They also have incredible doughnuts in a huge variety of flavors. Your sweet tooth wont be disappointed here. Nice, cozy environment too. Keep it local and skip the cooperate Starbucks!

The Vanilla Ice Cream was quite bland and the Waffle was undercooked. Compared to the waffle the Ice Cream was good but I have had better Ice Cream from the Hobby Horse. Guess it was just a bad day for a waffle that day.

We really enjoyed this place. You can tell they put a lot of thought into curating a place not only with really good ice cream and donuts but also with a welcoming vibe. I am certain this place will become part of the annual stops on vacation from here on.

Fresh, tasty cakelike donuts with a huge selection. Top that with creamy, rich homemade style ice cream - cant be beat. So many combinations to warrant many revisits and expanded waistlines. Move over peanut butter and jelly, donuts and ice cream are a contending duo.

Decent shop, but not special, especially as far as ice cream goes. The flavors I had were quite mild, nothing I would eat again. Their waffle bowl (the bowl itself) was probably the most enjoyable part, as it was thicker and tasted fresher than what Ive had at a lot of other shops.I didnt try their cookies or doughnuts, or their coffee, so maybe thats where they excel.

The environment of this place is adorable. The wooden tables, the decor, and the atmosphere perfectly compliment their desserts. The donuts, waffles, the ice cream are all perfect in their own way. One visit will never be enough!

Very good conceptNice seating and ambiance. Ate the cinnamon sugar donut with salted pretzel caramel sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. I was with mi kids and I wished they had some kid sizes milkshakes and ice cream sandwiches. Definitely will be back.

One of my favorite donuts in Ocean City. This place is clean and located in a great convenient spot on Asbury Ave. Its perfect for a morning treat also serving a variety of coffee, and ice cream for a late night treat.

One of our many favorite little spots on the island. We order the nutella donut and chocolate ice cream and we are able to share it between 2 of us!

I literally uttered the words this is the best dessert I have ever had in my life. I had the cinnamon sugar donut sandwich with moose track ice cream. We went back 2 nights in a row and we all got the same things as the night before because we couldnt get enough. On top of it all, the staff was super friendly too. Really wish they would open up on my town in NY.

The ice cream and iced lattes are very good! Whether you are enjoying a scoop or a milkshake, you wont be disappointed. The scoops are generous in size, and there are many great flavors- standard and inventive! The milkshakes are thick and creamy. You can get a malt as well. I personally enjoy their iced caramel latte for a pick-me-up. Their donuts are okay- not bad, but I dont need to get them again. The crumb cake was perfect!

As always the staff and the tummys that they server are always great and never disappoints. My only suggestion is since they have outdoor seating is to have the staff come out more often to try and clean and make it neat as much as possible

Very good quality coffee, super nice staff, even in the middle of the pandemic, and yummy pastries! They also offer outdoor seating and still let you add milk and sugar to your coffee, which is usually not available these days.

A good donut and ice cream shop. Trendy and creative. May not be the best donut you will ever have, but its pretty good for a small beach town. Also theyre open all season! Street parking only, from what I can tell.

Chill spot to have some delicious doughnuts and coffee. If you like cake like doughnuts, this is the place for you. The customer service was very good, the employees were patient and kind.

Coffee was over priced (2.50 for 16 oz) and it tasted bland. Was supposed to have hints of choc and fruit. Tasted like gas station coffee that had been on the burner for hours.

The coffee is not the best I recommend barefoot cafe for that but their donuts and ice cream are amazing check it out.

I paid $4 for a cappuccino and was denied use of restroom. I was directed to use Dunkin’ Donuts restroom. I specifically decided NOT to go to DD because I wanted to support a local business. I will not go back. It was such an i silt and I the coffee really isn’t that good.Terribly disappointed. Don’t open. If you can’t offer your bathrooms to PATRONS. It’s rude.

The best donuts in Ocean City! They consistently introduce new donuts (especially during holidays) to keep the menu fun. Their nitro cold brew is perfect as well.

This is one of my favorite places to sit down and do graphic design work in. The coffee is incredible and I love their donuts so much! They feel a lot more filling than most donuts. They have awesome tea selections and I am blown away by them every time! I will always come back to Drip n Scoop.

Enjoyed Americano coffee and cotton candy donut for my very first visit on New Years Eve. A great place to come. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Donut and coffee were delicious. Planning a return visit in 2020😀👍🏻
