Unless you already know what you want don’t come here looking for advice. I asked for one product was told the store was closing in 5 minutes and then had 3 associates “help” me, only to come home and find out what they gave me is the exact opposite of what I said I was looking for after actually reading the bottle. (Yes I know I should’ve read it in the store but I didn’t). I was really hoping that someone there had good advice for me.

Brittany the sales associate was amazing! She helped me find the right foundation and concealer match. I could tell that she was excited to help, and very knowledgeable about the products. She even broke down the ingredients and the brand history. Lovely experience! Pleasant, professional, and passionate!

I was shopping at Ulta beauty today and was witness to a rather rude customer arguing with an employee. Bridgett handled the situation professionally and remained calm while answering the customers questions while the woman yelled at her. I was extremely impressed with the exceptional customer service, which in my opinion the customer did not deserve. Great job, remember not all people suck & don’t let her break your spirit.

This Ulta truly does a great job. I had my hair cut by Molly there just yesterday and she was so sweet & attentive. Starting out with the phone call to schedule the appointment - she was on top of the COVID protection measures and all around a professional. New to the,area I called for a hair appointment, Jack answered the phone and hairdresser heaven opened up. Jack you are the best and the hairdresser I have wanted all my life. The cut is perfection. I got my hair cut there yesterday and it is a disaster!!! Molly cut it much shorter then I requested, plus I brought a picture to show how I wanted my hair, no where close. My hair uneven in the front and I am going to have to somewhere to have it fixed. I want a full refund including the tip!!!!

I recently was on vacation and forgot my train case, so I went to Ulta in desperate need of makeup. Upon entering I was promptly greeted even though it was a very busy day. The store was huge and I was in a slight rush. An associate saw me and asked how she could help. She told me her name was Ericka and asked what I needed. I told her my extremely specific list and she and I got right to it. Within minutes I had everything I came in for! While walking me to the cash wrap, she mentioned they were having a sale on hair tools and products. I had a few minutes to spare, due to Ericka’s excellent customer service, so I asked her to show me where the flat irons were. She was so kind and patient with me the whole time, I felt like I was spending time with one of my girl friends! I spent a little more than I planned on, but got so much great stuff, it was worth it! I guess I’m glad I forgot my makeup after all!

Very helpful and friendly staff HUGE selection of beauty products. Its like the biggest bestest Christmas morning ever for someone who loves all types of beauty items. However, prices are high and items are expensive at this store. Most coupons they issue are no good for the popular name brand items people purchase.

I just had the best facial that I had in years.My esthetician, Jennie, is just wonderful. She explained every step and explained the purpose of each product and procedure .My face feels so nice and smooth and hydrated. I will be back. Thanks Jennie for such a nice Black Friday treat.

Went there two weeks ago to get shampoo and conditioner, as soon as I walked in lady behind the counter said keep your mask on and dont touch anything, needless to say wont be back.

I love Ulta I love going in and browsing all the new make up but I have noticed that that the employees are very friendly and try to be helpful however sometimes having 10 different employees asking if I need anything within five minutes can be very frustrating then when I reply no they say are sure or say something else to try and help. I know they are trained to do that but if one employee just ask me the same thing literally 30 seconds ago I begin to get frustrated. I always walk out with a purchase I just take my time browse and look for good deals and sales. If you go there just be prepared to be bombarded by everyone who works there.

Ulta has a great selection but the sales reps there are very aggressive. I always feel pressured and rarely is my no excepted on the first go round. I will say they are very nice and knowledgeable. However, they often direct me to the more expensive products.

I was so excited to find out that there was going to be an Ulta in Ocean City, MD, as I shop in the outlets there quiet frequently. I am beyond pleased with the variety of product, but also with the customer service I have received from the entire team. I wanted to recognize Ericka, the manager, for going above and beyond, and truly making me feel like a valued customer and making our shopping trip a memorable experience.

My daughter enjoys shopping here. Scored the top thing on her wish list this Christmas! Everybody is very helpful.if only there was one in southern Delaware.

Youre better off driving to the Salisbury Ulta. In fact, itll be faster and you wont have to deal with Aubrey (Audrey?). Whatever her name is, she was so sassy she actually encouraged me to contact corporate about how slow and useless she is so I dedicate this review to her too.

I was not expecting the service I received. My Clinique salesperson was above and beyond! I remember when service like this was in places like Macys and Nordstrom. Never expected it in this day and age. Thank you.

Best ulta in the area, hands down. The staff was very pleasant and helped me find some of my new favorite products. Especially one person, Ericka. I was on the fence on what mascara to get and she helped me pick out an amazing one. Will definitely be going back soon!

I have only been to one other Ulta but I liked this one more then the one in my hometown. The employees were super friendly and the store was fully stocked with all of the newest makeup. I was hoping to see Dose of Colors products there but they werent. Great shopping experience!

Make sure you go to this Ulta if you want to be followed around and harassed by 5 different sales associates. I went in to look at some Tarte products and I was approached so many times and was stared at wherever I went in the store. So if youre an 18 year old girl, wearing black and carrying a purse I would say avoid because theyll treat you like a literal criminal :)

I had a great experience with Ulta. I had never been to one of their stores before and the only reason I went is because my sister was visiting and wanted to compare it with the Ulta near her. We were greeted at the door and told where we could try samples. No pushing, but I do have to say that the person helping me knew the first time I expressed my opinion on what I like, what he wanted to show me. It was right on the money and I bought many of the things he suggested. The only reason I didnt buy everythinng is because their items are pretty pricey..Or I should say pricier than I am used to spending. All in all a very good experience.

Had a great experience here. I brought my girlfriend so she could point out things she wanted for her birthday! Patrick and Ericka were amazing and helped us out. Then I came back a few days later so I could get the things she wanted and they both remembered me and helped me find everything again and even some more suggestions. All in all great help from those two. We will be coming back again! ☺☺☺

I am an Ulta employee at another location and I want to anonymously share my experience that I had at this store. July 13th, at around noon, I went in to this store while on vacation. I had to complete a task that wasnt store specific so I had no problem driving here. When I arrived, I stood in line and went up to a girl standing behind the register who had no nametag on. If she wasnt standing behind the register, you wouldnt have been able to tell she was an employee due to the way she was dressed (out of dress code.) I asked if she was able to call a manager up to help take care of the task I needed to complete. Apparently, she was the manager. Instead of her being polite and asking what I needed help with, she fired back with a HUGE attitude and said Uhh for what?? I looked at her kind of in a little bit of shock, and told her what I needed to do. She scoffed at me and then said Okay well you can go (to the back room) and do it. Me, knowing what going into another store to do absolutely anything is like, told her I wasnt an employee at her store and asked if she wanted to check my ID. She fired back with even more attitude and said No, you can go (to the back room) and do it. I ended up going into their break room alone, no ID check, no manager back with me making sure I really was am employee, nothing. I could have been a random person who said I needed to do something and got sent back to the break room ALONE where all of the fragrances, expensive pallets, and prestige backstock is kept. I had trouble figuring out where to go (their computer has a different setup than ours) so thankfully, the awesome employee who was working the brow bar that day (I didnt catch her name either, but she was super sweet and helped me out) came in and helped with absolutely no problem. A few minutes later, the same Manager from before opened the back door and with equal attitude as before said Let me know when to walk you out. I said okay, finished what I was doing, and went back out to the floor to find my friend. After looking around for a little while, I went to find her and asked if she was able to walk me out. I asked where she would like me to go, and (you guessed it) with an attitude, she said In the middle under the cameras where you always get walked out. Your store has different cameras than ours, and with the front circle being full with guests being assisted by other employees, I was lost on where to go. Finally I stopped and showed her my stuff and she ended our encounter with a (the same amount as attitude as before) Okay bye. then walked away. When I got outside, my friend, who is a local to that area and shops in your store all the time, said she was just as equally as annoyed with how that particular manager acted towards me. My friend also said she has never seen that manager in there before. Its one thing to have an attitude with your workers, thats none of my business. Its another thing to have an attitude with an employee from an out of state store. Its absolutely ridiculous that she acted that way towards me whether Im an employee or not. All of my managers were shocked when I told them about how she acted and said that is absolutely not the way to do things. I wish I couldve called her out by name, but hopefully yall can look at the schedule and figure out who Im talking about.

Horrible!!! ZERO STARS!!! I was looking for flat iron, like $150+... We walked in circles looking and looking... Manager walked past several times, other customer service employees joking with each other and checking phones but NOBODY asked us if we needed help, no greetings nothing... Like we were invisible for the 10 minutes we were there... I will take my business & $$$ to Sallys. They should have put one of those here and not wasted our time with this crappy store.

I came in to ask aomeone help me find the right make up for my face and Peter assisted us and was an absolutely amazing help!!!! I will definitly be a customer here from now on for make up!! Thank you!

Always have what I want in stock.

The store itself is nice. Staff wasnt the best though. I wasnt in the store for long as I knew what I needed but in the time I was I encountered at least 5 people that worked there and not one spoke to me. No greeting, no asking if I needed anything, just nothing. The only person that spoke to me in the store was the girl who rang me up. I dont expect to be fawned over but as I work in retail I also dont think its hard to just say a quick hello when someones right in front of you. Made it kind of awkward.

My favorite store! Employees are helpful when needed but also give you room to browse without breathing down your neck the whole time which is so important to me.

Im a 32 year old man who knows nothing about makeup lol. I came in to get my mom some Clinique makeup for her birthday because she was talking about it recently. Patrick was working the Clinique section and was very helpful and very friendly. I took his suggestions on what to get and my mom absolutely loved it !!! Thank you ulta and thank you Patrick !! Huge huge help. I usually get her gift certificates but she really appreciated that I got her makeup that she likes and wears.

It seems like everyone in this area wants you gone from their store before youre finished looking. I was in there at 7pm and was being stared at and pressured to check out when they didnt close until 9pm. And I even asked what time they close. Do you even want people to keep the company you work for going or do you want it to go bankrupt and lose your livelihood because I would have stayed longer and kept finding things to buy if you didnt make me feel like I was holding you up.

Terrible customer service. Will not be visiting again. Staff stood behind the counter chatting the entire time I visited the store. No greeting or assistance what so ever. Not only did I walk out empty handed but another customer, who was obviously struggling with foundations, did as well.

Theres an older woman at the register. I dont know her name but her chest is tatted. A bit rude.
