Shopping for quality Made in USA LVP. There were two closeouts to choose from. Neither color interested me. Otherwise, everything else is of Chinese or Vietnamese manufacture.

Went in to pick out carpet. Installer called me the same day to come measure rooms. The carpet I wanted was in stock so the installer started the install the same day I purchased the carpet. By the way, all of this took place on a Saturday. Very pleased with the entire process.

I was looking to lay viynl plank flooring in my granddaughters bedroom but I went to Home Depot and the flooring I wanted was going to take two weeks to come in so I looked online and found the Floor Trader Outlet in Ocean Springs MS. I talked to Shawn and told him what I was looking for and since I live 3 hours away in Prattville AL Shawn video called me and walked me around the store and showed me all the different flooring they had. I found one my granddaughter loved so I made the purchase over the phone and the 3 hours to pick it up. When I got there Shawn had it all ready fo pick up !!! I bought carpet and put a deposit down and had the guy come out and measure. Since my bedroom was so big almost 600 sq feet and the carpet I picked out was almost $3 a sq ft plus install. I found carpet cheaper down the street and wanted my deposit back. When I came in to do so, the salesman was salty about it. He wanted to know why I wanted my deposit back and I told him. He didnt ask who his competition was but commented that we usually have the best price Not today sir.

I was looking for a new piece of fake wood/laminate to replace a threshold/transitional piece that had broken in my home and decided to try the new local Floor Traders. They are not in Gautier, but in the St. Martin/Ocean Springs area and convenient for me.I was greeted at the door by a very nice group of individuals and I was given a thorough tour of the store. They carry quite a variety of tile, carpet, vinyl, laminate, and other choices of flooring for just about all your business and home needs. They have alot of choices and I am certain they can order anything else you might find in their catalogs. I noticed they had a nice clearance and remnants section also.Needless to say, they did not have an exact match for my needs, but they have many choices and my search continues. No stars. Went in one day and was given a price on carpet and installation. Broke it down on card because installer is paid separately. When we went to pay for the carpet the next day it had gone up almost $500.00. When we questioned the salesman about the difference he said we needed to disregard the price on the card he didnt know what that was on there for. Really? The installer, Jason Bridges, was very nice and he was very quick to install even though we gave short notice. I really hate we wasted his Saturday. I feel if you give a price and mess up well that is your fault not the customers. I only put one star because it wouldnt let me post without it.
