I went in this morning to ask about an upgrade on my phone. Without pulling up my account they tell me that they dont do upgrades and that the cheapest phone was around $149 dollars. (That included the activation fee) So my wife found an old phone lying around that was from MetroPCS that wasnt active currently. She called customer support to see about swapping my phone number and was told that I can drive back to the store and they would swap my SIM cards but to have them call when I get there so they could wave the activation fee. The employee explained to me that they cant wave activation fees anymore because the customer service people dont have access to their system. Then she says that they stopped doing that about a month ago. After I explained that my wife just got off the phone with customer support and they told her to have the store call to get it waved she said well you can call them and have them tell me to wave it. Well how am I supposed to call when my phone isnt working and I am trying to get everything switched over to my other phone. These people have the worst customer service skills that I have seen. They act like I was bothering them by asking them to do their jobs. Guess I interrupted them playing on their phones.
Would give a zero if I could. Worst customer servuce experience. She did not seem to want to help me at all.The other reperesintative even told her to help me and explain things to me. Was in there less an 5 mins.
My husband and I went in this morning and switched over to metro. Were still trying to learn our new phones, but the gentleman, Anthony, who helped us today was extremely helpful and polite. He was very knowledgable on the products and service plans. Made sure we were happy customers when we left.
Only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is for the same reason we all dread going to cell stores... The fact its like a car dealership and they try too hard to oversell you. But other than and besides that fact, every experience Ive had in a metro PCS store here in Jackson county, MS has been absolutely wonderful. Very helpful staff, they really know the product they are selling and the short upgrade timeframe and the discounts you get for upgrading are very fair. I always have service, and they even offer an extension each month like a grace period to keep your phone on so you still have service to use in case you are a couple days from payday. I would recommend Metro PCS to anybody who doesnt like the sound of a contract but still wants the benefits of.
Went there, sign said open and the door was locked. The schedule even said sunday noon - 5pm and i arrived at 3pm. Cant get business if you lock your doors with a flashing open sign, i just went next door to boost mobile.
Very professional and always helpful
I understand running behind schedule but to be 30 minutes past opening and there isnt a soul in your store thats very poor customer service
Very patient and nice
Store not open when posted as open
