Good place for breakfast. Western omelet was very good, comes with hash browns & toast. Very reasonably priced.
The food here is delicious. We stopped in on a Saturday morning and the service was excellent. The owner is the nicest woman ever!! We were having a bad start to our weekend visit to Lincoln and she turned that around for us. Itβs nice to know that there is still kindness in the world. We will definitely eat here next time we visit Lincoln.
First time here, but when some one else is paying you try it . so far busy place so must be a great place.
My family and I always enjoy coming here. The food is very good. I suggest the blueberry pancakes. The service is very good if you like small town friendly feeling atmosphere. The staff knows their regulars names, usual orders, and often family/job/personal details. The biggest problem Ive had is waiting for a table because they are all full.
Best breakfast in town. Old diner feel. Our waitress was beyond amazing. We just got lost in the atmosphere. Incredible place. You have to try it. You wont regret it.
This spot is unique & has a great experience/feel. Itβs got an old timey diner feel with a fast & delicious delivery. Will be returning.

Stopped by this place this morning as I was passing through Nebraska based on the reviews. I ordered the special omelette with sausage inside and raisin bread. It also came with hash browns. The food was amazing! Highly recommend it! Cheap too.

Went here for breakfast and had biscuits and gravy. It was really good. The restaurant is cute and comfortable and the staff was real sweet. A definite local favorite.

Great place for breakfast. I love the Woodees omlet with cinnamon raisin toast. Plan on a 20-30 minute wait for your food but it is worth the wait. It is a little place with a small town feel.

Got the hot beef sandwich it was just ok. Ive had worse and Ive had better. The potatoes had a good consistency so not instant but a little on the bland side. The roast beef was nice but the gravy not as good as it could be. My brother got a Reuben Sandwich with Hashbrowns. The Hashbrowns looked excellent. May have to go back to try breakfast some time.

Very nice owner helped my whole family of 8 from Colorado. We had 7min wait time and it was full. The food was amazing and the staff. Fun pin board also. Family friendly. Menus on big screen TV/ on tables. Great coffee also they make sure itβs full. Thank you woodeees! :)

Best chicken in town, special on Wednesdays. Owner is friendly. She and other waitresses make Woodees a fun place to eat. Buy a woodees t shirt. I did.
Very clean. They have some real cool Husker decor. The staff are amazing!!! The food is absolutely delicious and generous portions. We paid the same at Woodees for 4 people to eat as we did 2 people at IHOP. Weβre never going back to IHOP again.

I have been to Woodees several times and all the other times were great. The food was good and people were nice. This past time the coffee was weak and the food took a long time to reach the table. No one smiled, but everyone was still nice and the food was very good. I will continue to patron Woodees and recommend it whenever I can. I love to support Lincolns local businesses!

Came in with great expectations after reading many good reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing to say the least. The restaurant was not very busy yet we waited more than 45 minutes for a very simple breakfast order. Because of the times we are currently living in, I would expect everyone in the restaurant to be wearing a mask, unless, of course, they are eating. However, that was not the case. There was a sign on the door stating that they required one to be worn, yet one of the workers who was taking and serving orders was not wearing one. Very frustrating and inconsiderate. We try to support local businesses rather than big chains whenever we can. However, this is not a place I would return to nor recommend.
My 1st visit and I came from Omaha to meet family here. Great menu and great food. This will be another visit for sure.

My parents live around the corner from Woodees so Iβve eaten here enough times. The food is usually really good (Iβve only had breakfast), coffee is okay, and service is moderately fast, and not overly friendly staff...unless youβre a regular, I suspect. The only issue I have, is the past few times Iβve ordered takeout (because...well. Covid), thereβs been something wrong with my order. Minor things, but you want what you pay for. My last omelette consisted of almost all burnt filling-the sausage was so burnt it was crispy and the wrong kind of cheese. Other than my take out orders, this is a really good breakfast cafe!

We love Woodees and eat breakfast here on a fairly regular basis. It is small and cozy. The food is great...especially the raisin toast! Highly recommend for a small town experience in the city.

Driving through Nebraska and found this little place. FOOD IS INCREDIBLE. Very large portions for dirt cheap. High quality food. Yum. The staff is also very pleasant and very on top of things.
Great food, like homemade! Service was awesome! One of those comfort food cafes that are way better than a chain restaurant. Walked away with a full tummy and light on the pocket book. We will be back next game day!

Great Place. I travel for work all over the United States. To come to Lincoln Nebraska for a project. Great place for breakfast. Good was awesome and very friendly people. I am scheduled to be here 4 month for work. I plan to come back.

Place is outstanding! Make sure to order their chicken fried steak. Its not on their menu and its their secret item they have. Its one of the best chicken fried steaks Ive had. I had it with eggs, hash browns and four pieces of toast. Very affordable prices as well!
I had a Ruben sandwich, it was very good! My wife had a Grilled Chicken salad and she said it was good also. Good portions and timely service.

Nice little place. Their omelettes are tasty. They never let my coffee get below half full the entire visit. Very kind and caring with their regular customers as well as being very attentive to our needs too.

Loved this place. We were recommended to go here by the locals on an overnight business trip. We had the French Toast which was excellent. Friendly waitress and even the accountant who was there took the time to chat to us and tell us a little bit about their city and state!

The food is delicious but the service is terrible. We walked in and walked up to the guy wrapping silverware, the only employee out front, and he wouldnt even look up at us. Finally a lady walked out, we asked if we could place a carryout order and she essentially glared at me, said yes and walked away. Then another lady walked out and took our order. She was nice enough but between the three of them we felt like we were bothering them and were not welcome there. The food came out in decent time and we really enjoyed it. If it wasnt for the delicious food, I would have given 2 stars.
