I have been shopping at Omega for over three years. Their customer service is superb, they have some cool bikes in stock, and the mechanics do some solid work the first time.I purchased a KHS gravel bike from them back in 2018. Frankie built my custom wheel set for the bike a few months later and 3 plus years later they are still true despite some hard hits and thousands of kilometers of riding.Mark the owner runs a tight ship and you can tell he is passionate about providing top notch service to his customers.If you need some work done on your bike or are in the market for a new steed you should definitely check out Omega Bicycle shop. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Just purchased two mountain bikes, repaired a third, and picked up a handful of accessories (pedals, helmets, etc). I could not have asked for a friendlier or more knowledgable staff, and the owner was thoughtful and personable. We have been to other bike shops in the area, and while their service and selection was decent, Omega will have my patronage for as long as theyre in business.

Came to get my sons bike fixed, but Mike pointed me in the right direction and showed us a variety of options you cant really find in too many place because everything is sold out. The customer service was on point and the prices are more than fair. We are very happy with our purchase.

They must have been having a rough day, we’ve been there before, their idea of customer service was getting a tire slammed down on the counter, because I didn’t answer the little guys question fast enough for him. You scared my 89 yr old mother and left me wondering why he was so upset, all I needed was a new tube and tire. Lighten up boys.

I came in earlier needing to get the tire on my jogging stroller fixed. There was a line outside due to covid 19and I had my 9 month old with me. The gentleman working approached me even though I was further back in the line stating how he could help and asked if I was okay with the wait (my baby was sleeping ). He was very courteous and even offered to allow me to sit inside so I didn’t have to stand while carrying him. They were very fast and friendly.

Customer service is Excellent! I’m not an avid biker but I came to this shop in hopes they could take care of the brakes on my daughters single speed, and they had no problem helping me out! Picked it up in a couple days & they fixed her up great! I’ll certainly be back when it’s time for me to get a bike or any repairs. Had an experience at another bike shop downtown that was relatively nightmarish. Brought my bike to Omega. Frankie was super knowledgeable and friendly (all the staff is), had the part on hand, and told me to pick it up the next morning. Super great place, despite the current viral inconveniences. Sending everyone here.

I was going to buy one spoke wire for my tire and one of the guys said it will cost me $25 a piece since they were just opening up and I was the first customer. He said he needs to set up the instrument to cut the desired length and he will charge me that much for setting up the instrument. That didn’t make sense. I think he wants to make money out of me. I said no and I went to another bike dealer and they charge me $2 a piece. Don’t go to this bike shop.

We take our bikes here each time we’re in town. The prices are super reasonable and the customer service here always exceeds my expectations. Bryce was the mechanic that worked with our bikes over the past year and he went above and beyond in the repairs, explaining his work to us, and even letting me bring the bike back the next day when the air in my tire wasn’t holding. We’re so grateful for the level of service here and to have a go-to mechanic in the area!

Just a couple weeks ago i went to the Omega Bikes just to go see there bikes and i was looking for a BMX Gyro bike. & the owner of the store would not even let me go in the store to even just look with my own eyes with out even touching a Bike. & also there website is horrible it only shows a list of the bikes they have with out even showing some pics of there bikes that they are saling. horrible service from my point of view

The guy at the door had the worst customer service. It seemed like he was in rush but there was only one person behind me.

The valve stem of my inner tube starts leaking as we were heading out for a ride late in the afternoon / early evening. My wife calls around to find most shops closed but Omega says come on over, well fix it right now. 15 minutes later the inner tube is changed out and were all set. They were courteous, polite, competent and very reasonably priced. This is the kind of shop that should be supported, I highly recommend them.

Every time I go to Omega they have what I need. I never have to look for someone to help me. The staff is super friendly and always remembers you. Even if you have a questions they will give you free advice and hints as to it might be. Very reasonable prices. Also they have a military discount. Gotta love that. I truly recommend them.

My son outgrew his bike and a friend gave me theirs, but it had some major problems with the gears. Ive heard good stuff about Omega, but it was awesome to experience it. Not only did I get a great price and quality work to fix it, but everyone there was honest about what work was ACTUALLY needed vs. unimportant sounds and cosmetic work. Would highly recommend and looking forward to returning when I need further bike repairs.

I crashed my mountain bike a couple of minutes away from there and I walked it over and they were able to take it in and replace the pedals and the chain pieces it only took a week for them to put the parts that I requested to be used as replacement parts thats including the shipping

Great shop. Mark is always very helpful and assisting with needs. My kids enjoy the shop as well and there is never any issues with them looking at all the bikes and everthing on the shelves; not that my kids are bad but a lot of times when you show up to a place with 3 little kids the owners are more ready to get you out of the shop than anything else. Also needed some bike parts that Mark didnt have in stock and he recommended me to another place; he genuinely just wants to help the customers. Highly recommended.

Extremely happy with both bike service and customer service. The owner, Mark was very friendly and provided excellent product information. I changed my MTB tires to Road tires, along with a tune up. They had to order the tires due to the size (27.5, which is not common to change to road tires). There was an issue with the order, but Mark called me and informed me of the delay. Picked up my bike with the appropriate changes and a great tune up. I will continue to use Omega Bicyle shop as my one stop bike shop. Support small business!

My bike was experiencing some brake fade so I took it in based on a coworkers recommendation. Was very pleased with the service I received. Mike identified and fixed the problem quickly. Prices on parts and labor were extremely fair. Best part is I was in & out without being late on my lunch break. There was another employee working with other customers while I waited on my repairs. I overheard their conversation and it seems like these guys really go the extra mile to take care of their customers. They try to work with you and wont sell you any parts or services you dont need. Top notch bike shop! I will definitely be back.

This is the only place you need to go in north county. They have a great service department and can order any part and install it for you quickly. The owner Is a great guy who always gives a fair price. Great shop, I highly recommend it.

In todays world of two day shipping and impersonal service, Omega is keeping it old school and Ill continue to support this local business. They are fully stocked with everything you need and most importantly care about the customer, honesty and integrity go a long way in my book. I took my bike in for a tune-up, picked it up the next day. After riding it I noticed there was still an issue, took it back and they quickly checked it out, found the issue and took care of it with no charge. Next time before going to the internet go to Omega, youll be glad you did.

I took my bicycle to get air on the tires, the owner suggested to put it at 60 PSI and I said no that is too high I wanted to 30, then I believe his tire pressure gauge read 80 psi, he said that it only read 40. When I went home the bike tire was flat.I know that they replace inner tubes here but that doesnt mean that they should choose what air goes in the tires and I felt like he did it on purpose in order for me to pay for an innertube

Omega Bicycles is the best hands down in north county, due to the shear fact that the owner Mark has a great work ethic. I remember buying from there in early 2000. He has always been helpful and gives service far and beyond. I stop in every few months to say hi and check out the kid bikes for my children that they will have soon. Omega is first for all bike adventures!

I visited several other bike shops before stopping by Omega Bicycles. I normally ride a roadie but since I was a 48 year old looking to start riding a bmx bike with the kids the other shops werent much help. The owner, Mark, was very helpful. I wasnt necessarily looking to purchase that day but his customer service prompted me to buy a bike from Omega. The shop and staff are good to go!

Ive been in the shop only a few times and treated very well. Just took my bike in for a tune-up. As an old, specialized bike, I was quoted a higher cost. But they ended up charging me the normal cost for a tune-up which was a little less than some of the local competitors and they had the job done the next day whereas I was told by another shop that it could take up to a week.Most important - took the bike out for a ride a few days later and a definite improvement in the shifting of gears. Feels like a new bike again.

Both knowledgeable and helpful havent been disappointed yet. I was having trouble with numbness in my hands bought ergonomic grips from here but only helped a little then young salesman suggested raising my bars. This was the answer. If youre retirement age and have this experience visit Omega theyll fix you up. Made a world of difference for me.

Hands down, the best customer service I have experienced at a bike shop. Went in today to pick up my mountain bike, which got a tune up, a childrens bike seat installed, and a bike rack for the car. I was quoted $60 for the tune up, and only paid $50, as the bike tech said he ended up not having to repair the derailer. I bought a bike rack for the car, and after struggling with it for about 20 minutes, the owner came out and gave me a hand. Turns out, I bought the wrong bike rack (though the cashier said it would work), so the owner went to get a bike rack compatible with my car. He spent almost an hour with me getting it situated on my car, making sure my two bikes would fit properly. The new bike rack was $40 more, but he said he would take care of the difference. This level of honesty and customer service is rarely found these days. Rest assured, Omega Bike Shop will be receiving my business when it comes to bicycles. Thanks Omega!

You know that feeling when you just got taken when you walk out the store? I came in just for something specific which was basically locating a squeak in the crank and noisy brakes. He was able to find the squeak in the crank but the brakes were just as noisy (the explanation was that this was normal)What was the grand total at checkout? $100.Look, I know that everything has a price but $100? Was it because my bike is a Cannondale? Was it because I came in saying I’m not too knowledgeable in bikes?The owner saw the $100 bill thought it was low, lol. He made damn sure that my brakes pads weren’t replaced, why miss and charge more than $100 bill right? After I paid, the guy didn’t even look at me to say goodnight (seriously, at least give me a courteous “goodnight sucka” gesture)I’ve seen more done for $50 so this $100 bill for two very minor issues really stuck in my head. The mechanic was very nice but the owner just seemed to focus on billing as much as your can. For that, I can’t recommend this shop.I hate HATE giving out these types of reviews, but this is what happens when you overcharge customers. Charge accordingly and you’ll get repeat business. Business 101.2 STARS for the friendly mechanic.

Very fair prices and its always nice to go to a professional that is an expert in his field. Mark has taken the time to find me the right bike both times i have purchased from him.

I normally dont do reviews but I feel that this was to important not to do. I have been saving for a bike for over ten years. So this was a very special purchase for me. Like most guys, I did a crap load of research to get the best bang for my buck. I looked at all the brands. I went to Omega Bikes first on my quest for the best service, best bikes, information, honesty and integrity of a bike shop. I talked to Mark the owner. He spent considerable amount of time teaching me about bike parts and what to look for in a mountain bike that would be in my price range. After a couple of weeks looking and long nights on the computer, I narrowed it down between two brands. I went to several bike shops around the area and found a Giant bike that was comparable to the KHS brand Mark carries. I went back to Marks shop to see if he could match the sale of the other bike. It was a bit cheaper. He sat down with me and we compared bikes part by part. In the end Mark said that the Giant was a good bike and that I may want to go that route. He actually told me the truth and said to buy from his competitor. He knew I was on a tight budget. I asked him if he could match the price. He said yes and I was happy little kid at Christmas day metaphorically speaking. He would have to order the bike in my size (regular). Mark calls me the next day to tell me that they are no longer making this years bike in that size. That was the bad news. My heart sank. But Mark went to bat for me with the company and got me a step up ( a better bike) for the same price. A considerable difference by the way. I am old school when it comes to honesty and integrity. That is one of the big reasons I went back to Mark. Not to mention Mark going the extra mile to take care of me. I Love...Love...Love my bike. This is the kind of shop that I want to support. Locally owned and not a franchise. Thanks again to Mark and his employees.

I have been eyeing Huffy cruisers for a long time simply because they look old fashioned and cute. Obviously, I am not very serious about bikes as a sport. Anyway, Omega didnt have the cruiser because they cant beat Wal-Marts pricing. I am not a fan of Wal-Mart and if thats where Id have to go to get one, well I just wasnt going to ever get one. So, I started looking at the cruisers he did carry. Then he said, maybe you want this. It was an antique from Holland. It wasnt retro style, it was the real deal. I couldnt believe my good fortune and, as many have stated, the owners integrity. I was looking to purchase bikes 5-6 times more expensive, still he showed me one I could have for 100 bucks. And it is the perfect bike for me. I could go on about how cool this bike is, but thats not the point. In chatting with the owner, Mark, he got a feel for the type of rider I am, what I wanted it for, why I liked the Huffy, and figured out the bike for me was the far less pricey antique. I used to ride a lot and have had many expensive bikes. But, I have never been this excited about a bike since the very first one I got as a kid.. Little by little it Is my intent to restore it to mint condition. Thanks Mark!!
