Where to begin? Place is great they have a great variety of phenomenal quality products. ( Great prices too) The staff is really amazing, so informative, friendly and knowledgeable. Even their clients are really friendly. I purchased two hanger steaks and grilled them as soon as I got home, lost for words about how great they were. The best PERIOD. The staff is always extremely nice and personable just like a neighborhood / community spot should be.I’m addicted to the marinated skirt steak but anything you get from them is going to be good. The meat is fresh and even the homemade items like pot pies and Sheppard’s Pie are out of this world. They’re great for a quick dinner and can feed 2-3 people for like $10. You’re simply not getting homemade food like that anywhere else let alone some mega chain that is going to charge you even more for some processed garbage loaded with salt.If you’re in the area, there seriously is no other place you should be going for your butcher needs. With the summer around the corner, it’s a blessing to have. We’re always getting compliments on our food!

This butcher is awesome!!! And the prices were amazing. They had a huge selection of meats. I purchased turkey legs and a nice slab of pork belly. They had other items that are hard for me to find. I will be coming back here again for those hard to find items.The staff was very friendly and patient. The store was clean and very organized.

I love it here !! They have such a wonderful selection of high quality meats, cold cuts, deli salads, produce, prepared foods, catering and more. It’s really a one stop shop! I absolutely LOVE their prepared dinners.. I just heat them up when I don’t have time to cook.. So delicious !! Every cut of meat we have tried so far has been AMAZING ! You can definitely tell the difference in quality. Not only is their food delicious, it’s always such a wonderful and pleasant experience. They are just so friendly and welcoming, which is why I love coming back again and again!

Way overpriced, but the worst part there is nor organization in this place, you could be next and someone walks in and they go to that customer first. Horrendous never again!!

We ordered Thanksgiving dinner from Sons of a Butcher, and for the price we didnt have very high expectations. To our surprise the food was EXCELLENT and the service from the staff was top-notch. We have already decided to order Christmas dinner from them.

Went there a few weeks ago as my friends were all raving about this place. I got the pinwheel sausage which is how i usually test a butcher and boy was i happy. Been back there 5 or 6 times since and had gotten the steaks and chicken as well and im always happy. I became friendly with the young man paul behind the counter which informed me its the family business and all the meat comes from a local new york farm. Love to support my local businesses, keep it coming oceanside!

This butcher is great. I have been there 3 times now. Obviously shopping during pandemic is a weird experience. Yes, some times there will be a few minutes wait to get in. I guarantee after eating their prime steak youll forget about waiting in the sun for 10 minutes because only 3 customers could be in the store at once.

Easily the Best butcher I’ve been to. They custom cut me porterhouses and the best veal for spindini. Not your typical overpriced butcher.They have atleast 30ft of display cases filled with meat. Their prices are extremely fair and quality is top notch all USDA PRIME. Their prime was 4$ cheaper a lb then other butchers I have been to. They even have wagyu. A full deli and their cold cuts prices are cheaper then all supermarket and only boars head they have.

Hands down the best butcher Ive been to on Long Island, amazing quality products, huge selection, and awesome staff who is super helpful. Ive moved from the area a few months ago and have continuously taken the 30 minute drive to come back here based on the quality, selection and service.
