Edit: They finally responded and sent the product quickly. Looks to be pretty good quality. Customer service and shipping speed could be better, but given other reviews Im happy. Ordered product on 4/10 recieved on 5/20.No response on email, still no product. Pretty obvious by these review that this company sucks. Dont waste your money!!!

I am still waiting for a refund from an order placed almost 3 months ago with minimal response from the company. Unfortunately this seems to be the case as I have found multiple negative reviews stating the same problem. This company is still actively doing business. Its really a shame because this used to be a company with integrity and a good product to offer.

Awful customer service - ordered a piece for newborn photo shoot - received wrong item and was told new one would be sent instead...weeks later never received and could no longer use due to baby being NOT a newborn anymore - when I asked for a refund for the item I never got I was given a gift card and told $ could not be refunded to my CC - totally useless as I have no need for other items from the store - what a scam. They have 1 star rating with BBB so you know this company has issues....

Not impressed at all.I have been waiting for my order to ship. It’s been more than two weeks.They don’t have a clear phone number to call to online. The one they have on google maps had me waiting for mad hours.Also they never replied to my emails.I had to call my bank and reverse the payment and cancel the order (they don’t have a way to cancel an order) I hate. This type of activities from a company. People should be able to cancel, order, view shipments options and be able to contact you at any moment.

We were shooting a corporate event and I realized I needed a custom backdrop and a photo booth backdrop. These guys were great the custom was incredible I thought I was going to get back something simple from the design team but we got something amazing! My clients loved and actually paid me extra for the custom backdrop! I am going to start doing this for all my clients. Check them out

Im was very unhappy with their small showroom selection. They uses to have a big warehouse selection. Now they use thw warehouse as their production. Its hard and Impossible to find from the street. Its tucked in there with other businesses i barely found it. They have Proper items for studio. They have a limited of backdrops. All the other backdrops you have to order them from on line. The people that work there are very nice. Easy to find parking once your they.. Their do made custom back drop from your pictures if you like.

This site is amazing. I love everything I have bought from them.Backgrounds, Props, Complete studio sets, I have purchased from them for my studio for at least 15 years and they always have the best backgrounds in the industry and prices are amazing. I have talked to a few customer service over the years and they have always been very helpful. My new background is in new material called Titanium cloth and it is the best one yet. Does not wrinkle and printing is super clear!

Backdrop Outlet really came through for me when I ordered a backdrop and the shipping became an issue. They made sure to have another backdrop shipped right to the location where I was working and needed it! I cannot say enough about their customer service and products. I recently had to order a custom backdrop for a client completely last minute. Backdrop Outlet did a fantastic job of working with me to get the backdrop printed quickly and shipped out so that it arrived to me across the country just 2 days after I ordered it. I Ordered Several Backdrops from Backdrop Outlet Last month. I love love my Titanium cloth it is really nice heavy weight material yet super light weight. It is fabric and comes folded and I was able to hang out of box with no wrinkles at all!It printed really nice but it looks even better in photographs then in person. Super happy and will order more of these in the future.I also ordered a Candy drop and a baby drop. The candy drop comes rolled it is very inexpensive mine was only $49.00 on sale for a 5x7 size background and the printing looks really nice and shoots great. Material is a thin plastic vinyl material and for the money it is fine but I like the Titanum cloth much better. The ease of folding and storing and durability. The baby drop is a very heavy weight vinyl material much thicker then the candy drop and also comes rolled and was super easy to use since nice small size. Loved everything but will be back for Titanium cloth for sure!

WORST PLACE EVER. DO NOT BUY. It took them a month to send HALF my order. I only ordered 2 items. After 1 month they were able to send my one item and ONLY because I kept contacting them. I placed my order on 7/16/18 and still havent received the other item. It is now 9/11/2018. I have been on the phone WAITING for someone to pick up for over an hour now. I have sent many emails as well. I plan on suing these people if they do not pick up.

This is listed as a camera store but it is not a camera store. This place sells camera and photography accessories. They have a show room but when I went during operating hours it was closed and I had to call to have some one open up the inside is very unorganize. I think they are mainly a online business. They did have what I was looking for but it was not on the show room floor it was in the warehouse. They do not sale cameras.

Absolutely horrible company, I ordered the backdrop over 2 weeks ago and still nothing; no shipping email, no phone number on the website to call for customer service, and to make matters worse; I am getting spam text messages with no way to opt out even though I havent even received my order.I keep calling the number listed on Google to cancel the order and it always says they are now closed even though it is only 2PM PST and they say they do not close until 4PM. I am seriously thinking about cancelling my credit card and getting a new credit card just to cancel this order.This is exactly why I only shop on Amazon, unfortunately Amazon does not have a good selection of larger backdrops.

Scam!!!!! Be aware!!! Took my money & never sent my product I ordered. Over $100. They will not answer the phone when I call. Waited over a hour & no one picked up. I will keep on calling until the answer & if I have to go to my bank & report this as a scam I will.

Would give less if I could. I absolutely HATE dealing with this company. They are the worst. Never have anything in stock, have to wait weeks for things to come in. Customer denice is a joke. They will change your order on you and ship it anyway with no notice. I ordered a backdrop and they gave my sup par quality, even though I paid for the better stuff, never told me and didnt give me a credit. I had to call and wait hours to get through to someone. DO NOT order from this company!!!

I dont understand how this company is still in the backdrop business. Definitely do not buy the matte vinyl backdrops, if you want quality backdrops. It looks nothing like the sample photo. Purchasing from this website is THE worst experience Ive ever had with online purchasing. From customer service to shipping to the backdrops. The accessories that I had ordered were fine, but as far as the backdrops, I am absolutely disappointed and pissed off at how low quality it is. Im curious why there are no other customer reviews of their backdrops on their website. I shouldve done more research on this site before dropping over a thousand dollars. Tried to reach out to them to see if I could return the backdrops I had ordered and got no response. Id give no stars if I could. The absolute worst service Ive experienced online.

Do NOT buy from this company. Such a fraud!!!!! Paid online for a backdrop in Feb, waited for a month and got nothing. I called them to ask whats going on, and they told me the product was damage so need to redo it. I questioned why nobody notified me until I waited and asked. I felt they are no professional doing business, so I decided not to keep wait and request a refund. The real disaster just started. From March to Augest, I emailed and called them many times to follow up the refund, but they still dont refund me. Keep saying sending request to accounting, and the accounting people are out of office, and other excuses. This company took my money and I dont get what I have paid for, and evading the refund. This is fraud!!!!! Do NOT trust this company!!!!!!!!

EXTREMELY pleased! I needed four backdrops but was unsure which material I should get. I called and got a real person on the phone within a minute. My sales rep Roxy was very friendly and helpful. I ended up buying four candy drops. They arrived a full week earlier than expected and they look great! I will definitely be back for more and would recommend Backdrop Outlet to anyone!

I am so upset that I paid 400 for a backdrop that I needed for a dance studio photo day.I even called prior to purchasing the backdrop explaining the use for large dance groups.Ugh! I open the package...There is a stain on it! Ok, (I process, I will deal with this) BUT ... how about when you are at the dance studio with the owner and looking at this long 20’ piece of material and then looking at the width and thinking ...holy moly 10’ seems so short.!”Then, after a few minutes, you ask the owner for a tape measure and Find our it is CUT a foot to short!!!!I called backdrop and the response: It is stated in FAQ that we may loose 10 percent during processing.Are you kidding?Do you refund 10 percent of the same?Why not just advertise 9x20?So disappointed, I would have totally overlooked the stain. But to be a foot short .... not acceptable.Hoping they exchange this without any issues. I will respond and follow up with the outcome.

I ordered a backdrop on 11/22/2017 they took my payment. After a couple of months waiting, I called and waited on hold for hours to get ETA, I was told that the shipment was damaged in transit and that the backdrops had mold from the container and that a new shipment would take an additional 3 months. I called back and asked about shipment and was told it had not arrived yet. I called back monthly to hear their next excuse, they finally told me that they lost their supplier in Russia and that they were looking for another. I called back after 3 more months to see if they found a supplier, the answer was no. I asked for a refund12/5/2018 over a year after my order. it is now 01/03/2019 I have been on hold for two hours waiting to find out why they have not refunded my money yet. You have to give at least one start to post but they deserve none.

Worst. Service. Ever!Ordered a backdrop on February 19th for a photo shoot on March 12th. Nothing custom.Began calling a week ago and was repeatedly assured that it was shipping that day. Same story over and over. Finally had to cancel the order today because it’s not going to make it in time.

Repeat customer here, products are great! customer service? Its a complete joke. You would be better off going to the circus. 12/09/15 UPDATE: Eric Gupta is the General Manager and took care of my return in 5 minutes over the phone. Ive purchased a number of backgrounds from the OUTLET and been quite satisfied with them. However I have just spent a half hour waiting on line for customer service while being assured that there is just one call ahead of me.. I finally hung up, called again, and pressed 1 for sales. Then waited about ten minutes and was disconnected. Then dialed the operator and again was assured there was one person ahead of me FOR THE OPERATOR ? But I finally got someone in sales. I used to be in charge of sales & customer service at a local color lab. This would never have been allowed to happen.HOW RUDE!!!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service and poor quality backdrops. I will never buy anything from them ever again. They sent me a damaged backdrop in December which I sent them photos of, paid for postage myself and returned to them in December. Now suddenly theyre saying their policy is no refunds. NEVER AGAIN! BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased backdrops on April 2nd. With the estimate time of 6-8 weeks. On May 14th I was told my ship date would be June 22nd. When I questioned the length of time they said there was an error in shipping. But nobody told me it would take 12 weeks. I asked for a refund on May 16th. To which I was told ‘you’re refund can be expected the end of May’. Here it is June 20th and I have no refund. Backdrop outlet has blocked me from commenting on their page as well as they stopped replying to my emails. $100+ they owe me. So now I’m going to have to go through the fraud department of my bank to get my money back because they are obviously not interested in returning it. So much stress and wasted time. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!! Very shady business practice. They will not tell you something is wrong and basically refuse to refund your money. Here I am 12 weeks after my order with no resolution and no response. Disgusting.

I placed my order on 1-5-15 waited for 2 weeks for an email saying it was shipped or “something” I finally called them, after not receiving any emails about the order and they said - oh that is still on back order. Finally received the order on 1-30.15. Guess what? they shipped the wrong product... Had to take a picture and send it to them to prove it was the wrong product before they would give me a RMA. I sent the wrong product back they received it 3 days later. 2-9-15 as of today I called them and asked when they would be sending the right product out. Answer -- Oh that’s on back order for 7-10 days. This was not a special backdrop and there is nothing on the website stating that the product is on backorder now or when I purchased it.UPDATE__ The date is 04-13-2015 I rec an email saying this - Quote I saw your review online and I wanted to follow up and see how I could fix this situation. I am sorry for the issue you had with getting the wrong Fantasy Cloths in and the new ones not being available because they are on Back Order. I want to make this right so I am going to make those Fantasy Cloths free and give you that money as a store credit or a refund whatever you would prefer. We are expecting a shipment of Fantasy Cloth in the next 7-10 days. UnquoteWhy would I want a store credit when you cant even ship the right product in the first place? I had to call and ask when I seen one of the two items back in stock on their website and asked if they where going to ship, yea we can do that the women tells me on the phone . My full detailed review is too long for this site so Ill sum it up.Between May 11 when I placed my order and today, July 6th, I am still fighting with this sad excuse for a company for a refund I was told I would get to my credit card and in turn theyre only offering a useless gift card I will not use.I placed my order on May 11th, weeks later I began questioning things as only half my order was shipped to me but the site showed the status as fulfilled. By May 31, I was told my 2nd half of the order was lost in transit and a rush order would be processed and sent that week.A week into June, I was questioning where is the shipment information as I was not notified the 2nd half had been shipped yet and asked for a refund on my shipping.Amy, the person I had been emailing responded to that one with saying she has personally placed my combo with shipping and it would go out that day. She says and I quote from the email there is absolutely no way for me to refund the shipping expense however I have made sure that you will not be charged anything extra. Since this is an international order sometimes due to the bulk of the items additional shipping is required. In your case I have made sure no additional charges will apply.By mid June, Im still asking for shipping confirmation and both emails were ignored.June 21 a delivery man was on my doorstep with a much smaller box than the first delivery but he wasnt just asking for a signature, he was asking for another $20 in taxes and fees per the label on the box. I call Amy immediately and ask whats going on, this is what you said so why the additional fees? She put me on hold and comes back with an apology that she made sure there would be no more charges from the company but have nothing to do with border fees. I summed up her email and made it clear that is not what was said and I would not be paying any more costs as this was an awful process all together for an item I should have received over a month ago. She tells me some orders have fees due to weight and size which I already know and understand but ask her how does the first delivery of a 6 foot box not have any additional fees and this smaller, 3 foot box the man was able to hold with 5 fingers does? This is not an acceptable answer. The man got tired of waiting so he left with the parcel.She offers me a gift card but my answer was no, she could call up the post office and pay the additional fee I was told I would not have. She tells me she has to discuss this with her manager and will get back to me tomorrow.June 22 I received an email from Amy saying her manager asked I send in a copy of the receipt for the extra charges, and she would get back to me with the response. That day I sent it.June 27 I sent another email to Amy asking for an answer and asking for the manager to contact me. She replied saying she has forwarded my information to the manger, will check in with her again today and tell her I would like to speak with her ASAP.June 30 I emailed Amy AGAIN asking for the phone number to reach her manager.I received an email from a Wendy, customer service manager. She says and I quote I will be going over your issue with my manager tomorrow morning and will contact you as soon as I speak with her.I reply, Ive been told this many times by Amy for over a week and am tired of getting the run around and wanted the manager to contact ME directly. This is the absolute worst service I have ever seen. Wendy then called me later in the day to tell me she would be processing a refund to my credit card the following morning (July 1st) for the additional charge.Today, July 6 I receive an email from Backdrop Outlet saying your backdrop outlet gift card is ready and for the exact amount of the additional charge to be used in their store. I sent another email to Wendy saying a gift card is not what was agreed upon, but a refund for the additional charge, call me ASAP. This store will never get another dime from me, including by a useless gift card I did not agree to. Still waiting for a response

Very poor quality. Who ships a backdrop with a horrible curved side? Then its my fault for not opening it fast enough? And i should apologize? And maybe, just maybe, if i jump through your hoops, Ill get some replacement? What horrible customer service attitudes these reps have, too! Obviously they deal with ALOT of complaints, because they are burnt out and horrendous. Going out of business at this rate. Plenty of competitors to choose from - stay away!

Horrible customer service, no one answers the phone, i called 8 times, nobody ever answered i waited on average 15 min on hold. What worries me the most is if I buy something from them, will anyone answer to give me customer service and help me with my product if I have a problem?.
