Really nice walmart. They carry some quality and organic products that are not very expensive. I appreciate the different product varieties and cleanliness of the market. Staff is helpful and friendly. Currently my to-go place for groceries in the area. Would highly recommend.

Not bad. Has a few things that the super Walmart grocery area does not have. Still limited in brands as compared to a Vons or Stater Bro. Mostly self check outs. Makes for a convenient and quick shopping trip. Parking can be tight but if you park closer to DD’s there are more spots for some reason.

This is just a grocery store,and as usual was very busy and crowded! Actually Im pretty sure it is the smallest Walmart Ive ever been to.

First time visiting a Neighborhood store....and it was nice. Found almost everything I needed, and prices were low. Very pleased to find so much fresh fruit/veggies. Deducted one start because I thought it was ONLY self checkout...later saw the cashier tucked at the very far end of the store.Wish it was a little more clear. Also, I couldnt figure out how to move the conveyor belt (no push pad/button or switch that I could find) so was a little frustraded and in a hurry.

Gotta love scanning, only a couple cashiers to add it up and bag it for you. Be sure to take your bags, 10 cents a bag if you dont. The produce was great. Shelves were clean and well ordered. Im from out of town, so I was glad to find a neighborhood Wal-Mart to fit all my needs.

It had what I needed (toiletries) in all the different varieties so I was happy I didnt have to go to another store. It was clean. It is self check out. Smooth shopping trip.

I rounded up to 3 stars because I go to this Walmart frequently and it’s literally a 50/50 split of this Walmart having what you’re looking for. However, I walk in for customer service which is scheduled to close at 8pm. It was 7:19pm when I saw an individual standing at the counter waiting for an associate to attend them. An employee yells from the door, “customer service is closed.” I ask the associate the purpose of being closed since the sign on the counter says customer service center working hours are from 8am-8pm. The employee responds with “we don’t have enough workers on staff today.” I respond with “that’s unfortunate and inconvenient.”

It is always cold inside. The shopping carts need to be replaced. Inside is ok.Outside is terrible. Homeless on the sidewalk. Smoking.At night the lighting is bad in the parking lot. Needs to be lit up so seniors arent afraid to shop when dark.

Does Walmart is quick and easy to go into I have never seen it all that busy a lot of self checkout options a pharmacy and not a regular Walmart mainly household items hygiene and food.

The employees are completely good for nothing, they’re absolutely clueless. Some of them even look like their sleeping on the job. I asked a lady for assistance loading a prepaid debit card and she had no idea how to do her job all she did was tell me she couldn’t help me. They’re literally just standing there and doing nothing.

I really like to come to this store I do my shopping here I come twice a week AND I spend around 150 to $ 200 a week but it is annoying that the cashiers stand in front of you looking at you as if you were going to steal something ... Believe meIf they were more registers open w more cashiers I would go with them to scan my food I would not do it myself ...

This was my 1st time in this walmart Express. I read the previous reviews before visiting. Nothing like most of those reviews. Everyone was very polite and quite a few good morning was voiced. The store was well stocked in all the isles. I was able to get what I needed and use the self checkout without any problems. Definitely a great place to shop.

Love this place for quick, in and out shopping. All the essentials you need. Lots of self check out registers for easy check out.

I dont think they offer grocery pickup. Itd be great if thats available.

Theyre consistently poorly stocked. I have never seen a store be out of so many items so often. They need new and better management.

The best place for boosters to go boosting

Does anyone else get a weird vibe from one of the workers getting a little too close to their kids? At first i hoped i was just being paranoid. But now its been 3 seperate occasions where the same worker comes up to my 2 year old and tries to talk to him. I dont believe something will happen to my child or anything, i just feel really uncomfortable. Wondering if Im the only one.Besides that the walmart is ok. Parking sucks. Lots of homeless. I only go there if i really have to.

Easy fast shopping get in and get out a breeze

Immediate needs only. Easy trip if youre just getting essentials. EXPECT 10+ minutes if youre buying alcohol. They only keep 1-2 registers open and they always have lines. Although sometimes if you JUST have some beer or something you can convince the customer service desk to help you out! This store doesnt really have it together, they seem to be swapping management often, and as a local, Ive heard the employees talk and it is DEFINITELY a toxic workplace. Otherwise all the employees are super nice and helpful. One guy with super long black hair, is SO NICE and gets it. I mean its the OCEANSIDE (NEIGHBOR)HOOD WAL-MART. whatd you expect? (El Super for more groceries, just across the highway to the right).

Worst most judgments all rudest employees ever. I was there twice last week And both experiences were so bad I would never step foot inside of the store again. Not even if you paid me.

A small grocery store style Walmart definitely different

This store is smaller to the regular Walmarts. Though the people here are so kind & helpful! Especially Verneice Gonzales Not sure how to spell her name? She is as sweet as honey.! My car wouldnt start one time. She was out in the parking lot getting carts. She said, “What’s wrong?”. I said, “My car won’t start”. You know what she did? This woman gave me a ride home. I couldn’t believe it?! All my food woukd have went to waste if she wasn’t such a great employee. She wouldn’t take any gas money from me when I offered. And she is just a great person to have at your stores! I hope that you higher up people at Walmart see this and SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION FOR SUCH DEDICATION TO HELP CUSTOMERS!! Its not the first time she has helped either. I know Walmart uses these review statically but show her how much dont just tell her. Thank you!

I like how much money I save at this WalMart Supermarket. It is usually not crowded in Morning. I shop the only drawback if I have a lot of groceries and chooseto get on line its a bit of a wait. If I have few items I check myself out.The food is good just like everywhere else.I also like they have Security. The other stores are good too. And I eat lunch out. Either Mexican or Chinese. Both great!

Excellent sanitation measures observed during COVID-19 were much appreciated; scan and bagging surfaces and payment keypads wiped after each use in self-serve checkout. Friendly, pleasant encounters with store clerks. I hope theyre soon able to stay open a bit later as I had to shorten both of my visits this month. Cat food note: Canned Friskies costs less here than the 99 Cents Only store next door.

One of the best things to happen in this area.This area in oceanside desperately needed a Walmart for years since the nearest one from here is a couple of miles from here. I remember when i first saw the coming soon signs. I was ecstatic! No more relying on rides from my parents to get me my essentials.The walmart here has all your food needs from the frozen food to the cheap $5 pizzas to purchase on your lazy days. Everything here is really well placed. The bathrooms far away from the food to avoid contamination and the fresh foods closest to the entrance to get some fresh air. The workers here are nice and always are willing to help you out if you are in search of something. I would strongly recommend this place. 5 stars

Clean, friendly, wide variety of products including a pharmacy, etc. Certain products have minimal brand variety. Sale items often run out (empty shelves). Still one of the better grociers in all.

Hate you have to do the job of the cashier! Walmart the larger multinational cant hire people ? This is BS they make tons of money and no jobs they killing small business all over the nation and dont offer full time jobs.

Clean and always stocked. I love their use of the self checkouts and the fact that there are soo many of them to use. When checking out at a grocery store, especially during currect times, I would much rather use a self check out station then go to a cashier. The last people that are touching mine groceries, though better! This Walmart neighborhood market it is also really good about helping out when there are problems with the self check out, they are usually speedy to resolve any issues.

The staff here was super friendly and helpful. They made small conversation with us at check out and iy made us feel welcome as friends. The deals there were also really good, so I was able to get a few days worth of food for around 30 dollars.

I got the most helpful checker. Her name was Azi and you can tell that she loves her job. The overall shopping experience was lovely because a mgr even left a group of trainees to show me where the unsweetened tea aisle was - extremely helpful!

Not a bad little market. They have a much bigger selection of goods than I expected. We were looking for a couple cheap boogie boards and they had a nice selection. They also have a good produce selection.If you are from out of town be prepared to bring your own Walmart sacks or purchase them from the store at $.10 a piece.

Charles was so much help today at customer service (assistant manager) My gift card of $200 got hacked and someone used most of it in another state. He found out where the purchased had been made and was able to give me a new gift card. Thank you for making today better and easier for me. Great customer service!

I typically dont shop at Walmart, so today was an exception. Store was clean with friendly helpful staff. Store had everything I was needing to buy.

Very convenient baby Walmart store, food, liquor, pharmacy only but they fit a lot in a small space. The parking can be a little crazy with so many people coming and going but it works for me. I combine my trips here with a visit to the 99 cents store next door. Easy and fast.

It was surprisingly bigger then it appeared. It was very clean and the staff were nice and helpful.But for me I like to have real checkers and they only had 2. I guess they want everyone to self check.If they want be to be a checker they had better pay me.

Was short on Grocery money bcause of charge pending charge. Had just called store manager Tia ovr bccause of an issue with employee.. although i was right i was a little rude.. then came up short. instead of leaving the egg on my face Tia immediately took her card out n payed the remainder for me.. truly bless her and thanx again SO much.. i was astounded.

Like a typical neighborhood Walmart but with a local flare-sand toys and boogie boards. Take advantage of the dollar store next door, which includes produce. If you are from out of state as well, remember to bring your own bags if you can because you pay for bags. Also, its all self check-out, which can be a pain if you are stocking up. But there are lots of registers.

Great local grocery shop. Small shop that doesnt include everything a larger Walmart would have. Parking can be a nightmare if you stop here deterring peak hours, but outside of that its pretty easy. Good (big for its size) produce aisle, good prices, plus a few aisles of other stuff - staff are friendly and helpful.
