I remember coming to this donut shop as a kid while I waited for my dad to finish up with his haircut at the barbershop next door. The chocolate donut with coconut shavings was my go-to and it was absolutely delicious. The owners seen super friendly and I absolutely plan on coming back to this wonderful shop. I’m wishing the owners very well!

This place has smoothies with boba! Many flavors, made fresh. Donuts here are very good. Only one issue, be warned Tans is cash only.

Best in the area. Super pleasant family. Clean. I dont go often but they remember me - Wow! They ask me about things important to me. Very personable people. The Thai tea boba tea is fabulous! Best apple fritters around. My husband love apple fritters. Wont eat them elsewhere. Flavors are right on.

By far, the best donut shop in Oceanside. Open 4am till 6pm everyday except Saturday, when theyre open 4am till 2pm. Theyre custard filled bars are absolutely delicious, no other donut shop compares in that department. Likewise with their muffins, especially the chocolate chip. A polite and courteous staff. I highly recommend this place.

Love this place. Owners get to know their customers and are super nice family. Their donuts are better than any other place around. We have lots of shops around. We drive farther to Tans because their apple fritters are frickin fantastic! These people put time and love into their business.

Been getting my donuts here since elementary school. Our bus driver would bribe us with Tans to keep us in line.Just order 1 of everything. You might get diabetes, but you wont regret it.

Tans is an amazing donut shop! I go there often for many years now. Family run business. Delicious donuts and baked good. Croissant sandwiches I love. Coffee milk soda can all be purchased. Parking can be hit or miss depending on the time.

Pretty good donuts. Not the best on Earth, but solid donuts. Great variety, with good flavor. Donuts were fresh and well stocked late in the morning. I would have to give Tans Donuts a solid 4 stars.

Best donuts ever! Been coming here for 24 years. Apple Fritter is decadent. Crunchy on the edges and melt in your mouth in the middle. And the ham and cheese croissants...dont get me started, seriously the best Ive ever had. Go to Tans, you wont be disappointed. 5 Stars for real!

Place is okay, caught off guard that they only accept cash. They have an ATM inside but its one thats fairly old and skethy to use by means of its hidden behind a vending machine and a hacker could put a card reader on it without the knowledge of owners. I was there by 10 45AM on a Sunday and their selection of donuts was limited. Couldnt get a glazed donut of all simple donut shops should have. I will give it another chance based on location and prices but to all that read. Be there before 10am and have cash, cash, cash.

Went here because I was tired of Dunkin. I have a new donut place! Its a lot farther from me than Dunkin, but well worth the drive.

We stop in weekly after my kids Muay Thai a couple doors down. Absolute sweetest staff, always plenty for them to choose from, even well into the evening, and the cash has never been an issue for us. They DO only accept cash, but, as mentioned, there is an ATM. We have just learned to have cash handy in case the kiddos want doughnuts. I usually get them a dozen, they last the four of them a week, and often we snag an extra dozen for the guards at the gate of Camp Pendleton! They seem to love them, too! Nothing bad too say, at all! Maybe, just aheads up, dont buy the Martinellis Apple Juice. Every time we have it has already turned, but the date was still good. They may be getting a bad shipment, but you cant tell because the date is fresh.

I couldnt say anything bad about this place.
