Theres never alot of people who shop here anymore but still a good store.

Extremely unprofessional management, I cant shop without being starred at while i buy stuff to make a burger?They lady with the white dress shirt needs to humble herself and lower that chin up/shoulders high type of attitude,Just because i where a black checkered flannel does not associate me with a gang.Im doing very well with myself with a college degree and a successful job.Please respect everyone how you would want to be respected,And starring at me every second while i shop like im going to steal something is extremely condemning.

I have shopped in this store for several years and I have got to know some of the workers (there’s an older woman that isn’t always the kindest to me and some of the workers) but I enjoy coming here and getting my groceries because of the cleanness and the workers are always happy to help you, I don’t mind the 10 minutes drive just to come here. Ever since the pandemic has started I have notice that Daniela has been there since the beginning always making sure that the carts are always sanitize and ready to be use no matter if it’s rainy or sunny. When she sees me struggling with bags, she always offers to help and I can’t ever thank her enough especially when I’m a mother, she is such a sweetheart. I have never once felt so welcome coming in and out of a store that I shopped at. If I could give this place 10 stars I would because they truly deserve it.

I dont go to Staters because it is not close. There meat department and sales there are worth the drive. I will make it a destination.

This is my go-to place for great deals in the meat department. My rule is $5/lb or less for beef steaks and I can do that frequently here - they often have great deals going on. So, super kudos for that! Especially around the holidays, I save up to stock up. Also, there is always decent selection and quality in the produce department, which also features nice deals routinely. A quality shop doing good business with friendly service and no nonsense - and I love that.

Just lower your prices a bit more and most of the other items and youll be okay your prices are almost comprable to Smart & Final on some items but the other half of your items are overpriced like the Fufu places like Ralphs or Vons or AlbertsonsI only go into Stater Brothers once every 5 years if you lowered your prices Id probably be in there at least once a month or something like that so come on figure it out in lower the prices on the other overpriced items

The store always has what I want and I know where to find it. The people are generally pretty nice. The prices are reasonable. A good place to come through when you know what you want and you know where to find it.

Double Update: Oct 9th 1230pmThis time at check out. We happened to come across the same cashier we tried for the third time to avoid. This time he was awesome. He was well dressed. Demeanor was different. He said hello and thank you. Our loyalty to Staters is firm. Granted maybe we dont know whats going on in peoples lives. We love to give chances. Ulyuss thank you. Please give praise where its due. Being in retail. I understand. Its hard whatever people are going through. People are no longer nice publicly. Having patience and having the grind day in day out. Thank you StatersUpdate: Oct 3rd @1240pmIts amazing how one employee can make our experience pretty cruddy. The sad thing is the SECOND time we encountered this cashier with the same outcome. First time we encounter Uyluss we tried to spark conversation with him. With no response. Maybe he had a bad day. We gave him the benefit of the doubt. We came across him again. Forgetting and realizing we should have gone to another checker. Which we stayed. No hi. No greeting. Nothing made it pleasurable at check out. He probably checked his personal phone twice. When I had water in the cart. I had asked him if he can scan them. That way they dont forget to charge us for it. Since I was he one bagging. I needed him to scan them. So I can start filling the cart of groceries myself. I asked him the second time because he dismissed what I said. With... Yea give me a second. Very snooty. What really made me upset is. I had turned the conveyer belt off, that way I can catch up and not crush our potato chips. Which he then activated because he was already checking the guy out behind us! Talk about feeling rushed. One person can ruin the experience. The sad thing is. We were nice to him. I guess robots run the store. We absolutely love Staters! This just kind of ruins it for us. We will avoid that cashier at all costs. If we get a good experience one day. Ill raise the star rating, but as for now. Stays a 3 and we go home bummed cwith our crushed potato chips.Everyone seems to be courtious. Their Stater Brother brands are even better than the popular branded items! You get a lot more bang for your buck on groceries here! Vs Vons. Plenty of parking. They continuously keep there carts gathered and clean. Extremely polite at check out.

Best bakery in town CJ is amazing!!!! We have been going there for years she is an amazing baker and cake decorator! This is a one stop shop.

Its just as good as every other grocery store out there, but they have have people outside cleaning the carts and handing out face masks if you forgot one.

Except cooked food and sliced meats which are higher priced and few discounts I have a question Where the hell did the Stater Bros BARVIAN PRETZELS go? I cant find them at any Stores in my area.

Its a good store with good prices, they can add better lighting in it. But they come thru when I need items I cant find at walmart.

I grew up going to Stater Brothers, So this is always a comfortable place. Speaking from experience, their meat is excellent! Yes please on the carne asada and steak from there.Ill be back, over and over again.

Daniel, one of the assistant managers is the greatest. He helped us out when there was a problem, he stepped in and took care of everything. He truly knows how to serve his customers. He is a true professional, they should be glad to have him there.

Most of the stuff is good and at good prices. Fresh produce however is always low quality and rarely good. Also they apparently dont store their milk properly as it never lasts to its best by date. I have even had the milk sour when its got a week left, this means it was warm for awhile. Never had that issue with any other store.So, come for the low prices but buy your dairy and fresh produce elsewhere.

Stater Bros has been a wonderful store for many years. The visit today was with my elderly parents. The staff were very helpful in loading the purchases into the car. I always shop there when I am visiting my parents.

The staff here is always helpful and polite. Their selection is very good, they even have a few special items that I would otherwise have to go to smaller stores for, so that makes it my go to grocery store.

They have all kinds of meat and seafood at reasonable prices.

James Cannon the manager has an excellent crew well-tuned to customer needs and Staffing. His meat department is the best in North County. Ask for James and Eugene they know what theyre doing.

I dont shop at grocery stores too often as I buy my items like that at other places. This Stater Brothers is conveniently located off Highway 78 in Oceanside, nearby plenty of other places that you need to do your shopping. The staff here is always been friendly and courteous to me and their sales are often very good.
