Was having an issue finding the right cabin air filter and rear wiper refill. Rich worked with me on finding the correct filter and it fit perfectly. The wiper we could not find but he tried. I only buy maybe $75 of parts per year but Rich helped me like I buy $7500 of parts. He is knowledgeable and friendly, Thanks!

Went in to get a battery and have it replaced. The guy behind the counter goes let’s take a look. goes out looks at where the battery is located and because there was a part on top of it he wouldn’t replace it. Went to Auto zone in the near by city and they replaced it for no charge. I have to add the nice man only had one good arm. Bye bye advance auto thank you Auto Zone !
Went in to get a new car battery and was immediately greeted by a worker. Told the year/make/model of the car and he provided me with a few battery options. He also asked if I wanted him to test my current battery but I declined as I knew it was bad. I chose a battery and he offered to install it, which I accepted. The install was quick and clean, over in a matter of a few minutes, and I was off on my way. Very attentive staff and quite helpful. Thank you!

Still the best auto parts store for customer service. Doesn’t matter the city or state I always get greeted and offered help. I know where the parts are that I need and seem to always leave with a discount in hand. Tip, order online and get 20 or 25% off the order.
Been a customer for over a decade. I always buy my oil and filters here. Today I attempted to return an oil filter which was unopened with the receipt. The clerk said it was a few days past the 45 day return policy. He then asked the manager if he could override it. The manager Kevin said no. I will never come back here again. They just lost a customer over a $10 oil filter.
Decent customer service, got the right parts. Cashier forgot to ask about my speed perk bucks and I forgot to use them.
I visited Advance because the JUST SMOKIN BBQ truck was in their parking lot. The pulled pork sandwich was outstanding. I also purchased a half rack of ribs for dinner.
Stopped to have my truck battery replaced. Guys behind the counter were talking to each other and not really paying attention to me. He stated I get payed by the hour. Only reason I didnt leave is didnt think the truck would start.Purchased best / biggest battery they had and I think was over charged. Kid rings it up and I pay for it. I ask you going to install it like the banner states? Kid rolls his eyes and states if the old one is not crusty and hard to change. I could do it but I paid for and item and install.Battery changed after 20 minutes and a lot of grumbling and whining.I will never return and if I have issues with my guaranteed battery I will take it to another branch, maybe?I would highly suggest you do not go to the Oconomowoc store.

Have always had a good experience with the Oconomowoc location. Went there yesterday with a slow start issue. Had them test battery guy said all reading are good. Process of elimination went with new starter. This morning was left stranded with a dead battery. When purchasing battery from a different parts store had them test battery came in as bad cell 0% life left. So not only spent $170.00 on a unneeded starter also had dead battery on next trip to work. Very disappointing thinking further employee training may be required.
Manager Richard was so unbelievably anti-helpful, petty and unreasonable (dumb) that Ill absolutely NEVER go to an Advance Auto Parts again. Unreal
My key fob has not been working consistently. PROBLEM SOLVED!! I handed my key to the masked employee who selected a battery and INSTALLED it.I have other keys on a ring, including my house key. I connect the key ring and the car key fob with a small carabiner (spring hook). This summer as I was packing my car to return home from vacation, I looked down to see my house key and others on the ground. Advance Auto (AA) had a variety of locking carabiners! My keys wont separate unintentionally again.Last fall, my drivers side wiper shredded. Pulled in, purchased a wiper, AA installed it. A month later, another wiper. A month later, the back window wiper. NEXT TIME. Ill purchase all 3 at once!! But, its so nice that theyll install them!!!!On Wednesdays, JUST SMOKIN BARBECUEs truck is in AAs lot. I purchased a pulled pork sandwich and smothered it with sweet sauce. DELICIOUS and so convenient!! They offer 6 or so pump your own sauces for sandwiches. If you cant make it Wednesday, JUST SMOKIN has a restaurant just north of I-94, just west of 67 on Robruck Drive, just southwest of Culvers.(Their ribs are spectacular!!! Meaty. Tender. I just buy a bottle of sauce.)

Called ahead, Nick said they had the part. I got there, but I wanted to try it out in the lot with my car to see if it worked. He was cool with it... I picked the wrong part, but I tried different ones until I found the right one. Helpful gents. Glad I went.

Great Service! Its 10 degrees outside and I was pretty sure I needed a new car battery. I asked if theyd put one in for me and the associate, who was bundled up like an Eskimo, took a look and said, Sure. The other associate made a solid recommendation for the replacement product and the freezing-cold associate changed the battery in less than 5 minutes. He also explained that the car may need to get used to the new battery, but to relax and itll be fine. Thats the kind of service I like and that keeps me a customer. Thank you!

I was told, by what I assumed was the manager, that I could return/exchange a can of enamel that I purchased instead of automotive clear coat, but I didnt have a receipt. He told me that he could look up the transaction in the store system and find the receipt. I told him on the phone exactly what I bought and what I was coming in to get. It was late and they were about to close so he asked that I come in the next day and I agreed. When I got to the store the next day, the rep was extremely short, rather condescending and had a rude demeanor in general. This isnt the first time Ive been treated this way at this location either. I will try my hardest to stay away from this store in the future.

Knowledgeable and friendly. I came in for a battery and they insisted on testing the old one to make sure that was the problem. They swapped out the batteries in less than 15 minutes. Excellent service all around.
Most of the employees are obviously stoners. If there are more then 3 customers in the store, it takes 30 minutes to check out. Nice guys but who has the time? By far the slowest auto parts store I have ever visited. I keep going back because its a prime location for me.
The manager here is very helpful, acts like he enjoys his job. And is very nice to work with, I recommend this store.

Clerk was rude and condescending. He told us and at least 2 other customers they were busy and Oreillys auto and Tims auto was just down the road. If he were my employee he would have been fired on the spot. Save yourself time and just go to Tims Auto...They were awesome!!
My husband took my car in to get a new battery. After we spent a half hour trying to get the car to start we took it to Advance Auto Parts because it says online they will check your battery and install it. I guess it should say... but only if you come earlier in the evening. We took the car in at 8:20pm and they close at 9, but they said they didnt have enough time to do it. Now we will have to figure out how to get to work in the morning! Go anywhere else but this place. False advertisement and horrible service!
No stars! They left me stranded broke down in thier parking lot. Truck threw a belt so I started to try calling them at 8:50 pm. Yes I know they close at 9:00. But they didnt answer the phone and we I got there and got to the door at 8:59 it was locked and was told were closed. I was trying to get to my son who was in a hospital cause of an accedent he was in 2 hours earlier broke down and was left stranded. I and everyone else I know will never shop Advance Auto again. Not Cool!
Needed to replace a battery. They were very friendly and installed the new battery quickly.
I wish there was zero stars....I called in a parts order yesterday. They said they had all the parts in stock on the shelf.I went in to pick up the parts and one of the critical parts was missing. READ INVENTORY ERROR. I know this is pretty common with companies who employee high school pot heads... of which several were present.They told me to come back at 9:30 am to pick up the component. I went home performed the work that I could with the components that were rationed to me.The following morning I showed up on time, and the parts delivery driver was late. An employee remarked on how it was unusual. I expect this was a lame attempt to cater to me and that this is quite common.I left for a coffee and came back later, the driver still had not arrived. I continued to burn more time and waste more of my life at this decrepit and horribly mismanaged business. Finally the driver showed up, and much to my surprise, or not really.... they did not have the part. My order that was taken the day before by probably the only intelligent person that worked there wasnt even in the system.An employee started offering excuses as to why its not a big deal, and they would order something, etc etc etc.... they had already wasted so much of my time and I had given them so much opportunity to make it right that I will never go back to this business regardless of if management actually decides to train people and hold them accountable to their actual fuc king jobs.I went down the street to OReilly and the nice lady had the parts and had me in and out in a matter of minutes. They will be getting my business from now on.BUYER BEWARE.

I got caught up with a broken exhaust just down the road from Advance. When I went inside to look for some help (knowing very little car knowledge myself,) I was greeted to 4 employees just staring at me, not knowing what to do.Then Cody came out of nowhere, took initiative and helped me fix the exhaust enough that I could get to my mechanic.If it wasnt for him, the review would not be as high.
The team was very rude when I came in. When I approached the counter for some help I was cut off when speaking and treated like I had no idea what I was talking about. Usually I get something like this as a woman walking into an auto parts store but never so openly rude.
The gang up here is always knowledgeable and very helpful. I definitely recommend.

The only Auto Parts store in Oconomowoc that has your car part in stock. And if they dont they will order it for free and you will have it the next day.
Oconomowoc location has a very attentive and helpful manager and employees.
Car had an ABS fault light on. They scanned it and located the wheel that was giving the fault and I verified the wheel sensor that was defective. I ordered the parts online and replaced the brake slider hardware so car is back on the road for under $100. Some of the employees will not know that they can isolate which wheel is the problem, but they will scan it if you request the service.
Friendly knowledgeable staff, good prices, well stocked. Ill be back.
Their hours are wrong, they close at 6:00 pm on Sundays not 7:00pm. Dont waste your time and gas like I did.

I went there today after I noticed that I had no heat blowing out any setting but one. I was asked if the check engine was on and I said no. They wouldnt even go out and check what I was talking about. They were rude. I will never go back there.
