This Walgreens is notoriously slow, particularly in the pharmacy. Today I was in the drive through line for 45 minutes. I opted for this pick up option because last time I went inside I stood in the queue for 30+ minutes. The prescription was sent through yesterday and wasn’t ready until this morning when I was already at work. I almost missed a time sensitive medication due to a delay in filling the script in addition to the 45 minute wait time at pick it up. I have no issue with the friendliness/helpful nature of staff but the pharmacy delays have been a consistent issue that have only been exacerbated by the pandemic. I can only hope things get better in the future.
The pharmacy always takes forever and is really slow. I called yesterday to see if my sons prescription was ready and was told yes. Today I was told it was going to be 20 minutes so I had to go back in line. The lady was extremely rude and not friendly at all. Took over an hour to get one prescription. I picked Walgreens for convenience and location so Im extremely disappointed.
WORST WALGREENS EVER!!!!!! PLAN ON MORE THAN AN HOUR TO HAVE A QUESTION ANSWERED. I DIDNT KNOW SUCH POOR COSTUMER SERVICE EXISTED!!!! Its one thing to be followed up and down the isles by an employee signing Alanis Morissette songs quite another to have to deal with their rude and incompetent staff. I would recommend Delafield.
So terrible. Every time I request refills, they are not available when requested. I was held up by this pharmacy because they were arguing with my drs office to reapprove a prescribed rx. Worst in town by a LOT!
I have had them misscount my prescription at least 5 times. Once they filled the same prescription twice and gave it to me. I went back to return it and was told I couldnt because they already handed it to me. Their head pharmacists is FULLY aware of the irresponsible things going on at the pharmacy (as well as the store manager) but do nothing about it. Ive tried 20 different ways to get in touch with some kind of governing body and have had NO help. If anyone knows who to speak with, please respond. Somebody there needs to own up!
If youre interested in collectibles (trading cards, toys etc) dont bother with this location. The manager (katie) buys them all before the customers have a chance to purchase them, and sells them on her Ebay account.
Thos Walgreens has the worst Pharmacy in all of Wisconsin. The wait time in the drive thru is always at least 20 minutes and 99% of the time the called in prescription is not ready, even with waiting 3 hours after its called in. Most people are having prescriptions called in because they are needed on an urgent basis. Getting to the window after waiting to pick it up and getting their typical answer of we are still working on that, it will be another 20 minutes is unacceptable in Healthcare. Please ho somewhere else if you can.

It’s terribly slow at drive thru just get ur scripts delivered by mail it’s great and free! When ur text alerts u ur script is ready just pay close attention and u will find the link there to get it mailed free by Fed Ex lifesaving bc they r really understaffed in pharmacy
What a joke, go to get covid-19 shot and refused to give me the shot because I wouldnt wear a mask. Everyone working there is wearing masks and face shields like there at a hazmat spill. If the the masks work so good why would you be worried about me not wearing it. Wonder what they are going to do to feel important when the mask thing is completely gone. Its not a law, and my rules are I dont wear one.
I had an appointment for the covid vaccine, but the wait time at the pharmacy was going to be over an hour. With a newborn at home, timing my day to make it to this one appointment was difficult. I was unable to stay and now need to find a time to go back. What is the point of having these appointments if they cannot come close to holding them on time?!

As always we were able to get in and out quickly. This store is always kept clean and well stocked.
7am and the pharmacist was extremely rude like I woke him from a nap. When dropping off I was asked if I would be waiting, which I responded with yes, he continued with in the drive thru? I said Ill go into the parking lot. Which he seemed irritated and said 20mins. 20mins to fill a 14 pills prescription.🤔 Very very rude and very unprofessional!!!!!!
I rarely leave reviews especially bad ones but the pharmacy customer service is honestly the worst I’ve ever experienced. If anyone can provide me with a different pharmacy close by that’d be fantastic. Whenever I go to pickup my script that I was given a call saying it’s ready it’s not, okay I understand that things happen I’m in no rush I’ll wait or come back. The attitude of the staff is really what gets me, always a burden on them and looked down upon, it’s not every Walgreens it’s literally just this one. Don’t bother filing a complaint it falls on deaf ears... truly astonishing how bad their service is.
NEVER go to this Walgreens for prescriptions! Every time weve went there has been some sort of problem, and today was no exception. Today, I was in the drive thru and I was behind one car. It took 20 minutes just to drop off a prescription. I asked if I could pick it up in 45 minutes, and the employee said give us an hour. I came back one hour and 40 minutes later and there was a line of 10 people inside to get their prescriptions. This was a Thursday around 3:30pm. When I got to the window they said they were working on my prescription. I sat down and waited for them to fill the prescription. After a few minutes I saw an employee pick up my 2 paper prescriptions by the phones drive-in window, so they didnt even turn in the prescriptions to be filled until I got there. Then the employee said the doctor didnt sign the prescriptions so they couldnt fill them. I asked why they didnt tell me that when I dropped them off and she said there was someone new at the drive thru window. They said they could call the doctor and get approval over the phone. The employee said I could come back, but I live 20 miles away so I decided to leave and go back tomorrow after my surgery. I was scheduled to take my medication tonight, but thats not going to happen now. I should of drove 25 miles to the Lake Mills Walgreens, which I usually go to, and it would of been faster and I would have my pills and be home a lot sooner. Im disappointed I have to give this store 1 star instead of Zero.
Go to a different pharmacy! Wait times are extremely long and the team leading this particular Walgreens is far below average. It is truly remarkable how poor the service is in such a small town. Mary Jo was the rep who helped me and she wasn’t helpful at all. It’s never Walgreens fault - zero accountability.

The 4 stars are for buying anything at this location other than a prescription. The staff has always been helpful to me when I am looking for something or have a question. The pharmacy, on the other hand, I stopped getting prescriptions there years ago. If you need a prescription & want real customer service you go across the street to The Prescription Center. They are so much faster when you dont have time to wait & they take time to answer any questions you have. They also know you by name after your first visit. The best pharmacy in the area!
Usually helpful pharmacy but often very busy. Expect to wait most of the time. Employees have usually been helpful. Good for discount holiday candy the day after.
Received a call about a week ago saying something was up with my insurance so I rang Walgreens to get it figured out - the gentleman on the phone was nice and assured me everything was in order and I could come get my prescription. Fast forward to today when I was finally able to pick up it, after waiting 30 minutes in the drive thru, I’m told there was an issue with my insurance and they couldn’t fill it but would call me once it got figured out. Literally not even two minutes after I left I receive a call saying my prescription is ready, which I then had to wait another 20 minutes for - complete waste of my time and lack of proper communication with the Walgreens team. Do not recommend for pharmacy needs.
Online prices not the same in store, online was out of product. 2 stars because the store had the item, but pricing was 40% higher in store.?!? 40% really? Thats steep.
This is seriously the worst walgreens pharmacy I have ever had the inconvenience of using. Ive been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt for the last few years, but Im done. If you are looking for a pharmacy where you can have an rx called in and picked up in a reasonable time, look elsewhere.I have been told that my RXs are ready when they arent. Have had prescriptions that were called in by my doctor (with proof of date and receipt) never filled and then lying that they werent called in at all. Ive been placed on hold for hours when trying to check on an rx, and so much more. Save yourself the time and having to deal with atrocious customer service.
The time they quote for picking up prescriptions is never accurate. Every single time I have to call before I start the 20-minute drive to make sure the Rx is ready and every single time there has been a problem and the Rx hasnt been ready or correct. Only benefit is it is 24 hour.
Second star only because the pharmacy is open 24 hrs & you can drop off old meds (things the local branch doesnt dictate). This is not the only drive thru pharmacy in Oconomowoc FYI, just look across the street.Two weeks ago I had a complaint and the pharmacist called the manager. I thought I was going to talk to her but she simply spoke to the pharmacist and walked away. Customer service?And on 4/18/18 I was told they do not offer blood pressure measurements despite what their website says. It was suggested I go to Wal-Mart. Good idea.
I am writing this review while sitting in the pharmacy drive thru. 4 cars here, and it has been a 30min wait. 6:30PM on a Wednesday. Oh, and by the way, the pharmacist just gave me medication instructions for the customer parked in the lane next to me. At least I know how to take HIS meds. Unfortunately I come here about 3 times a month for meds. Same clueless service every time.**Edit**6:17pm on a Friday, about 3 months later. One car in front of me. In and out by 6:35. Trying to pick up 1 med. The more time I have to sit here and wait, the more time I have to bash this place. Gives me something to do while waiting for the frozen snails inside to get moving. Expect no less than a 30 minute drive thru pick up.1117 PM Monday night. No cars but me. Waited 10mins then hit the call button. Waited another 5 before someone answered that button. Im done. Time to switch pharmacies

Regarding the pharmacy... the pharmacy customer service has REALLY declined here in the past year or so... it seems since they started using a call center to handle their calls. I cant count the number of times I have been given misinformation from the call center... or told something by someone at the pharmacy, and then get there to pick up a medication and be told something else. Its a shame... they always seem overwhelmed, understaffed, unhappy and lost lately...like the right hand never knows what the left hand is doing.

They need to hire more help. I was there yesterday at 2 pm. I waited in line at least 20 min. The drive thru was 5 cars deep. Inside they had 1 person working the desk. There are 3 of them. The clerk said it is like this everyday. I was furious. On top of that, I bought 2 items that were 2/6.00 on sale and was charged 4.79 each. If it doesnt get better I am switching to pick n save pharmacy.
This is one of the worst pharmacies. Every time I go there it’s an 80% chance something will go wrong or I’ll be waiting 30 min.
My recommendation to anyone needing to speak to a member of the pharmacy staff would be to find another location, especially if you prefer polite and courteous customer service.On three occasions (once in-person, twice over the phone) the people I have encountered are dismissive, impatient, and made no attempt to ensure theyve treated me like a valued customer. I wouldnt mind driving a little bit farther to have that!
So tired of being ignored by staff. They are too busy talking amongst themselves. They dont greet you and dont assist at registers unless the line is deep wrapped around photo. Today I heard all about a low carb diet this worker was on and how she is wanting fries dipped in butter. As they are talking still no greet and still chatting as Im being rung up. I had to loudly say to register hows your day before the other one shut up. You could hear about her diet from the pharmacy....opposite end of store.

I will never take my script here again. They messed up my doctors PA form stating it was good for only a month when it was good for a year. They told me I had to contact my doctors office and the state, which I did. I became so confused where my doctors assistant had to call this place and the state to only find this pharmacy messed it up. They don’t pick up the phone a lot of times keeping you on wait and now I cannot get my meds on time!
Pharmacy is completely clueless. Had to wait at least 20 to 30 min either in the drive thru or inside. They have no idea how to contact the Dr. Office. Have visited 4 times in just two days and still do not have my sons prescription. Apparently this is due to them telling me every single time I come in that the dr. Is missing information.... when making the obvious suggestion of contacting the dr to obtain this information it was like I asked them to build a rocket ship.... so I personally had to contact the dr to ask for information only to come back to the pharmacy and have them tell me I need yet another code or forum. Why they couldnt tell me everything I needed at once, I HAVE NO IDEA! Still dealing with this, still no prescription for my son. Will most definitely be changing pharmacies.

Just spoke to the pharmacy department and the gentleman was as rude as can be to me. Very short and condescending. Not a good way to start the morning. I havent been to this Walgreens to pick up prescriptions in a long time and now I know why. They are very dis-organized there. And the help is awful. Id rather wait at the DMV or have a root canal then go back there again. Unfortunately, I still have one prescription to be picked up there but I think I will have it transferred to a different Walgreens so I can avoid the Oconomowoc of location at all costs.

Im always willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, but EVERY time I need to fill a prescription at this Walgreens, I am greeted with horrible customer service, condescending attitudes and leave feeling like I have done something to make the pharmacy employees jobs difficult. I thought maybe it was an isolated incident...but on multiple occasions have I been treated like garbage.
The worst Walgreens I have ever been too. Every prescription has something wrong or missing or they won’t look at the comments from the Dr. as something meaningful. I’ve had to wait days for name brand prescriptions, they have messed up amounts. My son was wheezing, and he was prescribed albuterol, they wouldn’t give us the extender mask without a prescription and told us they faxed the request back over and wait until morning. How do you want me to get an 8 month old an inhaler without one of those things? Very disappointed and will never fill another prescription here again.

Pharmacy staff in the day time have become horrible.Condescending & dont do their job. For 4 days I am awaiting a refill. I am told again and again that my doctor hasnt gotten back to them and they will send another request.So I call my Dr and he confirms he already approved prescription.I call Walgreens back and am on hold for 22 minutes just to be told again the same story. I am put back on hold again for the pharmacist for so long I not only called my doctor from another phone and verified once more that they had sent approval, I also had my doctor send my prescription to another pharmacy before Walgreens got back on the line.Will be avoiding the pharmacy in the future.
Horrible pharmacy . Drop off prescription days early since its special order, call to make sure its ready . Im told its ready, so I drive out there for them to say they dont have it. And wont have it till the following day . What a joke !!! Ive also have had problems with them questioning what the doctor has perscribed and why, to the point Ive had argue with them to get my meds . How about it doesnt matter my doctor knows, and they are a doctor not u. Just fill the meds.

Omg the worst service ever . very unprofessional treated me very bad rudee crude and had to get the manager to make a complaint. Had my Dr call for her to give me my prescriptions and she told him no. So he called into my scripts in to prescriptions center got all my meds in 20 mins so I had all my scripts sent over to the prescription center no more Walgreens for me

Worst Walgreens I have ever dealt with! Been on hold for the last 20 min and still waiting! To make it worse the hold music is literally a broken record. Always a line at the pharmacy. I think there were 7 cars inline last time I went and inside inside is no better.

Staff is friendly and helpful. They make an effort to announce you can check out at the photo center which helps in long lines at the main register.

Kid working the counter was a complete dick to me and wouldnt let me buy cough medicine. Ive bought it there before but this kid said Im too young. Im 19 and can go out and buy a gun but apparently not cough medicine. Im very sick and had to drive out to kmart.
Bathrooms have been disgusting here for months. Everytime I come and pick up my prescriptions I use the restroom and for a place thats all about healthy your bathrooms are clearly a joke. There more disgusting than a mechanic shop.
