Staff very knowledgeable. Selection wasn’t the best. Was initiative about trying to find me what I was looking for even through their suppliers. Need more stock in store.

Every time I go in here, just to look for something or not, always had friendly nice staff free to look around as you please and any questions always answered. Compared to some other stores I’ve gone to I would Definitely keep going here even made a few friends can’t say the same about other gun stores in Odessa but I recommend this place to anyone.I would give 10 stars if possible.

I did my TLC here with Mr. Wallace the instructor is very informative and interesting. I definitely recommend taking his class. The range is always clean and the guys are very helpful

The range is one of the nicest in the area with some of the best prices for lane rental with both day passes and memberships available. The range also has fully automatic rifles for rent if you want an extra thrill! They carry a fine assortment of accessories and ammunition in all common calibers. Went in on March 24th in the afternoon to get some gun smithing work completed on my rifle. Both gentlemen (forgot their names) were extremely helpful. They even persuaded me to get an EOTech optic that I am very pleased with. I went to many other local gun stores in the area and was turned away and Tejas was able to complete the work in a matter of hours. I will definitely be coming back for future purchases.

I love this place, very friendly, helpful and great customer services. I just got LTC from here. This is an affordable place for the class and and accessories.

The folks at Tejas are great people. They sell new guns and accessories. They also rent guns, so you can try out a gun youre thinking about buying. Pretty cool, they also rent full-auto rifles. The gun store has a wide selection of handguns, rifles, and shotguns. They have a large assortment of accessories like holsters, and magazines.The gun range is very nice. There are seven lanes with automated tracks that move the targets back and forth. The employees at the range are friendly and helpful.Great place if youre looking for a gun or training. I love this place, I barely got into guns and took my CCL class here . Kim was an outstanding instructor and super knowledgeable about everything. Every time I walk in that place staff always greet u and treat you right. Very nice people . I’ve been to mostly all the other gun shops / ranges Around Odessa /midland and they don’t compare to Tejas . Will always be a customer here !

Excellent 17 yard shooting range at an extremely fair cost. Unlike other ranges you pay a daily fee not an hourly fee allowing you more training time at a cheaper price than most other ranges. In my opinion the range is tailored more for pistols as a I feel a 25 yard range is better suited for CQB rifle practice and zeroing in smaller caliber rifle rounds.Prices in the store are marked slightly higher than what you can find at big box store. I understand its hard to compete with corporate prices, but I will continue to purchase from them when I can or when a deal can be made.Most of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their products. My only complaint is the availability of firearms to purchase. When Ive been there, most things will have to be ordered and the walls are never fully stocked to their potential.All together I highly recommend Tejas Shooting Sports and commend them for having a shooting range accessible to most people after leaving the office. Of the 4 ranges Ive been to in Midland/Odessa Ive found Tejas to be the most reasonable for the price.

Outstanding facility!This is not some patch in the desert masquerading as a shooting range. This is a full-service firearms sales and training facility. If I lived closer to Odessa I would get least a yearly membership.

Went there yesterday to do my shooting portion for my ltc. The staff was amazing very knowledgeable and great people to talk to. Place was clean and had a lot of guns to rent. Decent prices on rental guns and ammo. Will definitely be going back

This place was great! All of the staff was friendly and very helpful! They didn’t look down on females who wanted to learn to shoot. They helped me pick an appropriate pistol for my size! Bought my pistol from them the same day they showed me. Great place! Offers a lot options and has a good rental stock. So ladies, if you’re thinking about learning to shoot- go to this place!

I took my students here for qualification after a recommendation from a local professional. I was not disappointed. We have a training facility in Arlington, TX and live-fire shoot at a local range in Fort Worth, but every 3 months or so we travel to Midland/Odessa to do classes. The communication with Kim, the owner was great and the employees were amazing! I cant say enough about the impeccably clean facility and spotless modern range equipment. There was not even one piece of brass on the ground when we started! (we were first to shoot that day) It is obvious they take pride in their facility and want to treat their customers like gold. I have been to ranges all over the state and across the nation and this definitely ranks up in the top 5!

I walk in the store and I was the only person in the store and it took forever to get help and he didn’t know nothing about the suppressors Or silencers Like they don’t care if you’re going to buy or not. I’m asking is because I’m interested They need more people skills

Was in Odessa past weekend to visit grandbaby. Took son-in-law to your range on Saturday - a common and enjoyable outing. Got there after lunch - a nearly 60 year old and a 30 year old assistant county attorney. Had fun, paid the bill and left. Checked receipt when I got back to Bryan and found I had been charged for 3 boxes of 9mm ammo. I only asked for and received 2 boxes. The video recording will clearly show 2 boxes being put into my red range bag and the receipt with name showing 3 boxes. Ill be more careful to check the receipt before signing next time.- thats on me. You guys need to see if your inventory is off (an honest mistake) or if your counter help is taking home a box of shells at customer expense. By the way . .. Your contact us page on the website doesnt work.

The 3 employees greeted me with Hi. Then nothing. Did not ask if I was looking for something... They were more interested in looking at computer rather than helping me purchase an AR 10 build.... Guess I will spend my money somewhere else.

What an awesome shooting range!!! Not only was it super clean and well kept but the guys were amazingly friendly and super knowledgeable about firearms. I was having trouble with my aim and was showed what I was doing wrong, after that, every bullet found its target. The wife and I will DEFINITELY be back here again on our next date.

Walked into the store the first time in many years to buy a new 1911 pistol. The salesman Daniel was courteous and professional. Had been looking on Sig Sauers website and pretty much had my choice narrowed down to two models of which they had both in stock. I made my final decision and am very happy with the service I received. I will be back again soon!

Great shooting lanes. Clean and everything works as it should. Went at 10:30 on a Saturday and only 3 lanes were being used.

Decent store for new gun purchases and holsters. Little pricey as are all Permian gun stores. Nice remodel and shooting range. Good friendly staff.

This place is amazing. I live in DFW and now am disappointed in my local ranges LOL. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I watched them interact with beginners and there was no looking down on them and it showed they truly wanted to help! That is pretty rare in ranges and gun stores. I cant believe their great location and the cleanliness of the range a facilities. Keep up the great work!

Shop was nice and the guys were nice, but the prices I looked at were crazy. Noticed several items were $20-30 higher than other stores around the country Ive visited. Seems this area is milking oilfield workers for their paychecks. An $80 holster was $100. Boxes of X-Treme bullets were over $70! I didnt dare ask prices on Benchmade knives. Otherwise it was a nice clean store and I wanted to like the place

Just left this place. One customer inside that they were taking care of and 2 employees. I was in there 15 mins looking at a rifle that I wanted to purchase, not once did they acknowledge me being there. I will take my money elsewhere.

The staff welcomes you as if you are a long time customer. I took a Basic Handgun Class with Kim and Charlie. Very informative and a great learning experience. Also, the class wasnt crowded so the instructors were able to have 1 on 1 conversations each student. I took the CHL qualifier towards the end and passed. Now Ive gotta pass the Exam and Ill have my CHL. I refer everyone to Tejas!

Super fun place to shoot. They have digital read out so you always know how many yards away your target is. The range goes up to 15&1/2 yards but that is pretty good for a indoor range. They aloud me to bring in a shotgun but could only shoot slugs. Due to safety reasons, didnt want any ricashay or damage from spread. They are very very safety conscious there. When we rented the fully auto machine guns they walked us through proper safety use and discharge of our weapons. Gave complements and pointers on our use and marksmanship of the weapons. They let use rent the weapon with one clip of ammo 30 rounds for $60 and then $25 for any additional clips we wanted to fire off. Tons of cheap ammo was there so you wouldnt need to leave if you ran out. They also hold classes there for hunters safety, carry licence, and right to conceal carry. On not shure about level three or carrio but Im sure they are more than happy to point you in the right directions. Remember if your there to stop by next door and see what new and cool fire armes and accessories they have in there for sale. I was able to get a ar 15 in 556/223 with flip up sights and extra 30round clips in semi auto with a really nice case for about 1200. I feel I got exactly what I wanted for a fair price. Thank you tejas shooting for making my weekend one I wont forget!

I went there to get my range membership renewed and the staff told me they were not allowed to accept debit cards and although they were not allowed the brought me a computer and walked me threw the steps on how to do it the staff was really helpful I will continue to go back.
