This is a pretty amazing store. They have abouteverything you need for your trailer. I find it difficult being able to get my questions answered when Im there though.Pricing seems to be mixed from much better than amazing to surprisingly expensive. Overall better than I see anywhereI ended up buying most of my parts from amazing because it took to long to figure out what I needed, and I couldnt get help.I think they could have helped me better at the store and I would have made my purchases there, which I would have preferred

Jason and Josh were great! They put a 2” receiver hitch on my new trailer and did a fantastic job. Josh knows his stuff in the garage, and Jason gave me a decent price on all the work. I’m so impressed, that I made another appointment to get an inverter installed. I’ll be using state trailer for all my RV needs. They also have a wonderful store!

I cannot express how grateful I am for the people that work at the Ogden location. I just purchased a 2009 motor home and I have been fixing issue after issue. I am in there quite often asking questions on how to fix something. The service department is always able to walk me through scenarios of my issues and how to fix them. Even on the busiest days they never made me feel like I was putting them out. They always helped me and took their time with me. I never felt like they were telling me something just to get rid of me. Everything they told me how to fix, it worked like a charm. The service department even suggests to test your equipment (you can bring inside) before they try to sell you anything. They even cut cables from my old converter and placed on my new converter for me because I didn’t have the tools. Camping world is just the opposite. Thank you State Trailer Store and all the associates that work there. I will always bring my business to you as you make me feel like you care about me and my home. Prices are even way cheaper than camping world and they have everything you need. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I truly appreciate you all!!

I would like to give a big thanks to Shawn and Richard at State Trailer. Uhaul recommended and installed a 4in drop trailer tongue for their auto transport trailer rental. After purchasing and loading a non running 3000 lbs car, the kickstand sat about 2-3in above the ground. Uhaul said they could flip the tongue but could not help with unloading and reloading the car so I was on my own. Being 1300 miles from home, I had no resources. Luckily State Trailer was just a few miles from where the non running car was picked up. They were able to detach the loaded trailer and flip the tongue. Without their help I wouldve been stuck in town and possibly stuck with an expensive hookup free from a towing service.

Pull up 6 min before they close and I have 2 small items that I know exactly where they are and this girl wouldnt let me in. I get that they want to go home but I am not going to waste their time. Yes its a small item and that maybe they made $20 bucks but still this doesnt make me want to shop there! She even let another person in.....while I sit here and write this....good grief. I dont like writing bad reviews but man is customer service not important? I get that I showed up right before they closed I just drove 45 min and left work early. I tried to get there earlier but traffic sucked. So does this chick!

Great store! They stock a lot of RV parts and supplies. Getting in and out of the parking lot with a big rig was a bit worrisome, but they & us made it work.

We shop here a lot. Our most recent trip was to buy a new kitchen faucet for our motor home and it went great as usual.The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, and pleasant too. They were able to point us to exactly what we needed and answer some fitment questions. They even honored the sale price displayed on the faucet we bought, despite it being an old tag someone forgot to remove. Stand-up practices, that.They also quoted us about $300 less than our dealership to install solar panels on our outfit, so well be checking out their service department this summer.

Will never visit this store again. Walked in and asked for some help after wandering around for a few minutes, Lady behind the counter pointed and was extremely rude and told me where to go. She rolled her eyes and acted as if I should know where everything was in the store. I have use this store many times in the past without issue but this one experience has turned me away for good. Never once did she come out from behind her desk while multiple customers were struggling to find what they were looking for. Needless to say I did not make a purchase and will go directly to their competitor from now on.

Nice to have a place to get propane after 4:30 - 5:00. Nice people State Trailer in Ogden have people that know trailers inside and out. Been shopping there for years. When your tired of the rest go to the best. State Trailer in Ogden.. !!!!

Have been going to State Trailer in Ogden forever. But never had service like I had this last couple weeks! Long story short, ordered wrong axle. Returned axle, got help ordering the correct axle. With a new season of work coming soon I needed help outfitting my brand new aluminum enclosed cargo trailer. Enter Jason in service! Highly knowledgeable, polite, professional and very responsive, he took me to a service level that I have not seen or experienced in a any service environment for quite some time. His aptitude for my satisfaction was Second to None! Highly recommended!

At first glance these guys seem really legit. They made me feel like id be taken care of and that they could be trusted with their work ethic. Unfortunately this was not the case.-first issue: I had a trailer hitch put on my f550 utility truck. They were very accommodating to make the needed modifications to make the hitch fit. Thank you for that guys. However.. he left bolts hanging loose that he forgot about and he had very below par welds underneath where at first glance you couldnt see. (ill try to attach some pictures) WORST part was the rear of the hitch wasnt even mounted. .... thats right NOT mounted!-resolution: i took it back in and they personally apologized and fixed the problem.-second issue: i discovered this today. they mounted the trailer power hook up with self taps. 1 of the 3 self taps broke and the others were close to breaking. They broke today on me.... its been less than a month. Self tap screws guys? Really!!! Also the power plug was attached loosely, the screws were hand tightened. They have lock rings so i know that they didnt back off. he must have forgotten that as well-solution: i fixed this myself. Bolted the mount properly to the bumper. Tightened screws. :(Conclusion: if you want work you can trust you have 2 options.One: Stand over this guy and watch him work and check everything because while he has skill where you can see his work openly, he either forgets or doesnt care about the work you have to really get down and look at. Lack of integrity in my opinion. Skilled yes... but not enough to be thorough.Option two: go somewhere else, i dont know where but NOT this place!!!

I have a 1984 motor home and State Trailer has done work on it since I bought it 2 years ago. They always go the extra mile for you and are very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend you use their services.

They truly have everything you need for your RV! I am currently renovating a 2006 Prowler and have gone there for many items such as Door Handles, Roof Repair, General Towing items and other accessories.

The employees at State Trailer RV & Outdoor went above and beyond. We were traveling from out of state and our RV had a leak. They were so helpful as we tried to find the right part and fix the problem. So friendly and helpful!

Thinking I had an electrical issue that a technician could figure out, that I couldnt, I reached out after hrs through chat. Next morning I was contacted and Jason asked if I could leave RV for the day to possibly check it before I needed to leave with it for weekend with my family. Within a couple hrs it was fixed and worked great for us that weekend. I know it was the type of issue that could be squeezed in, but I also know theyve been busy all year and its easy to not go out of their way. I appreciate the extra help!

This place is great, They are my go to for parts for my trailer. It happens very rarely that they dont have what I need, only because it is unrealistic they cant have everything in stock all of the time. Great staff, reasonable prices, within a few dollars of even Amazon on most items. Please give them business! We need local businesses to stay around as long as possible! Do wish they had a better supply of replacement keys.

These guys are absolutely fantastic. They were so accommodating and helpful, checked AND fixed everything that I asked them to look into, even going so far as to go to a locksmith and have keys made that I was missing. I cant recommend them highly enough!!!!!!

We cracked our sewage pipe somewhere between Big Sky and Ogden and our van was leaking heavily. I pulled into the store 15 min before close trying to find a solution. With all the RV shops backed up for weeks, I bought $700 worth of parts hoping that I could somehow fix it myself. Folks from the store were curious what we were trying to do and offered to take a look at our RV. After seeing how bad the crack was and seeing that I clearly had no idea what I was doing (none of the parts I bought were correct), not only did they help me find the right part, they also offer to install it for me after hours. At 100% black, removing the cracked pipe and installing a new line was a nasty business. After an evening of challenging work, the new part was successfully installed, but they refused to take payment for their time. They simply asked that we write a nice review in return. Wow! What amazing service! Without your assistance we likely would have had to cut our trip short. And this trip around the west is for my 40th birthday. You are good people and we really appreciate what you did for us. My family cant thank you and the team enough. Thank you!

We took the circuit board for the RV water heater to State Trailer Supply in Ogden Utah to be tested. It tested good. So my husband asked if this tested good what else would cause the water heater to not work. Jason was willing to help figure out what could be causing problem. We did not find a reset button. He went beyond our expectations. We highly recommend Ogden State Trailer Supply and the parts and service department to anyone needing help with your RV. We certainly plan to tell our family and friends and already have told a friend. Thank you Jason!!

I picked up a set of electric brakes, some electrical shrink tube and a new castle nut.The lady at the checkout made sure I had a LH and RH brake assembly. She was very friendly.

Some prices are a little high on somethings. They have good sales. Staff is helpful. The waste dump is a little hard to pull in and out if you have long trailer.

They have a great selection but I sometimes feel like Im putting them out if I ask a question or require any assistance finding an item.

Absolutely the worst customer service on the planet!!!! Asked for help finding an item, arrogant little punk told me one of these two isles, pointed. While I was looking on my own, he helped another worker get a solar panel off the top of a shelf for a different customer, the box had been opened so that customer stated that he would rather have an unopened one. Instead, he got an argument from that same employee. Who finally got another one down. While carrying the panel to the front, he stopped behind me and said that I needed to hurry up and show him which Check-Out I was going to use. I told him it was not my solar panel. As he walked past mumbling that I was standing in his way, I decided enough was enough. I confronted him and said (loudly) his attitude had just lost the store a sale and a customer. His reply, “I sell a lot, should have seen me at the show”. Well I won’t be back. If I was responsible for that store he would be fired!There are 3 other RV supply stores in Ogden, they will have my business going forward.

MY favorite RV store, great for all trailers old and new. Cant find what you need dont be afraid to ask. Very clean store, friendly staff, we tried going somewhere else but we will be sticking to this store. They are a little understocked thanks to covid, but still have plenty.they also refill propane and I am not for sure, but with all the trailer in the back, it looks like they work on trailers too.

The men here at State Trailer had a long list, they were on it ....and noticed some things I hadn’t. They always called to check if I wanted it done. Took pictures and sent me the progress. Always tried helping me on the things I didn’t think could be done. Even with this pandemic going on..... they got it done in a reasonable time frame. Hats off to Jason and the rest of the team. 👍👌🏼

The employees seemed to busy doing nothing to be bothered with helping customers find what theyre looking for.

I went to the service counter and some older woman came up and said What do you need! I asked for a quote to have a hitch installed, her next breath was $500!!! I said I havent even told you the car it goes on, so I give her the information and then she comes up with $119 for the hitch and $100 and hour for the install and then blurts out $500 like I said!!!! And if you want it done it wont be until December!! Worst customer service ever, they will never see a dime of my money EVER! I went to Uhaul on Wall and they had the hitch in about a week and install only took and hour and a half! About $350 out the door!

Yeah I recently bought a toy hauler and it has everything in it so I had to winterize it this year so State trailer and RV was the only place had antifreeze that I know of bought one gallon and it worked perfectly so my used truck I bought can pull a gooseneck trailer or a bumper pull trailer man thats good to have I guess 😂

Pretty competent people I asked them to get ahold of me with any issues with a towing package they didnt get with me and done what they thought they had to do for the wiring and now I have nothing but electrical problems with a brand new truck going there now to talk to him hopefully theyll take care of it besides that its always been a great place need to consult with the customer before they make mod major modifications on someones vehicle

I hadnt had an RV since the mid-nineties and when I bought my used one recently I expected to go to a store and find all the parts that it needed. I didnt. Also, I had forgotten how expensive RV parts are. I literally saw parts in there that were three or four times the price that I would find them elsewhere, i.e., Amazon. Overall, the experience wasnt bad, its just that Ill look for my parts on Amazon before I go back. It may be okay for some specialty parts, I didnt check the parts counter.

State Trailer is absolutely fantastic! I have been taking our trailer there for several years, and the service is always fantastic along with the quality. The service department is very accommodating, and does superb work. I absolutely will not take our RV anywhere else, and I highly recommend them.

Customer Service was a nice change, it was actually customer service! The work was quick, attentive and seems to have been done properly (just a winterization). I did ask for other problems to be fix and instead of them taking advantage of that they told me those repairs really didn’t need to be done! It’s nice to see that there are still shops that have integrity out there, cause that seems to be a thing of the past.....

Ive been to two State trailer locations Ogden UT and Idaho falls ID and so far both horrible customer service. State trailer corporate should really do an employee evaluation. Both locations employees encourage you to buy elsewhere. I do have to say the guys in parts at both locations are very helpful, its the geriatrics they have roaming the floor with the attitudes and unless you have your golden age ID count on rude comments and no willingness to assist you with questions. If your under 55 and need to shop at State trailer head straight to the parts counter and then make sure to pay there too.

I dropped off my trailer 2 hours before my appointment so I could visit my father. The power wasn’t working in the trailer. I was 30 minutes down the road when they called to tell me it was a fuse holder and it was fixed. Very courteous and friendly. Highly recommend.

We had a tail light on our boat trailer go out right when we were heading to the lake. We called to see if they had the replacement and they said yes. When we arrived and found the right light we asked if they installed on the spot and said the service department wasn’t available today. Nick and Richard took it upon themselves to get out lights replaced and ready for us to go! The entire staff at State Trailer is extremely helpful and friendly! They will have our business for life!
