Loved it, service was so nice ! people complain about the chicken not being the same but it’s just because of the lack of employment. i will be back! so sweet and loving. They let me in even though they were closing! drop a tip for these sweet employees.

I loved my experience here; I was looking for a place with dine in, and they let me eat in even though they were about to close! Isaiah was super helpful, and I felt very welcome here; one of my new favorite spots!

It couldn’t get any better!!!!! The Szechuan chicken here is 100% the best food I’ve EVER had and there noodles are just so amazing, the customer service is also great! They always over fill the bowls that are less then $8 each!! Feel bad for anyone who hasn’t come here.

Great place! Yummy food, fast service. The employees are clear and direct, and easy to work with. Its relatively inexpensive. Clean dining rooms. Easy access to drinks, napkins, straws ect.

The restaurant wasnt particularly good or bad. I personally am very picky with food, and dont like the stringy kind of chicken they use, so I didnt like most of the food. I personally wouldnt recommend it to anyone. However, it is like panda express where you go down the line and get a plate with whichever entrees you like. If chicken textures dont bother you, give it a try.

The absolute best takeout Chinese food in Ogden, hands down. Even better than a lot of places in larger cities. Panda Express does not even come anywhere close.You absolutely have to try this at lest once.

They are very rude and have poor customer service skills. The younger girl who works there doesnt listen and freaks out when your trying to explain your order. What happened to treating the customers with a little kindness it goes a long way. I usually let it go but this isnt the first time I have been treated this way by them.

Used to have the best szechuan chicken Ive ever had, after moving back to Utah and eating there again after years of being gone I was extremely disappointed. The recipe changed and I will not be going back unless they go back to the original. Im sure a lot of people including myself are willing to pay a little more for better quality if money and profits were an issue with the last recipe.

We used to eat here fairly regularly because the food was amazing. But over the last couple months the quality has changed. The Szechuan used to be my favorite and now it is absolutely terrible! Ive heard similar complaints about various changes they have made. I dont know that I will continue to eat here.

Maple Express is almost exactly like Panda Express, with sightly better quality ingredients. If you like Panda Express, youll like Maple Express. The quality of the chicken is noticeably better, but for the most part theyre both similar. I really like their Szechwan chicken, sometimes Szechwan sauce can be spicy, but it isnt here. Their teriyaki is also nice. I found the lo mein to be kinda lacking in flavor, though. Expect to pay about $8/person.

My husband and I have been going to this place for over a year at least once a week. We have noticed a change in the Szechuan, but still wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. We went yesterday and the Szechuan chicken was dry and tasted weird. By the time we got home we were both sick. I’ve loved this place but for some reason it’s going down hill.

I used to love this place but their quality is going down. They used to have Chinese noodles, now they just cook what looks like spaghetti in soy sauce. Their chicken used to be good but now it’s frozen precooked chicken. Food is often left out for long periods of time and not fresh like it used to be. They have a soda machine that mentions they will call the cops over you refilling your drink or $1. I won’t be going back ever again. I went from going to this place once a week to never going again because they decided to be cheap.

I have been going to this restaurant for years and it has been my favorite Chinese restaurant. I have loved their Szechuan chicken. Bought some tonight and they have totally changed the recipe and it was bland and tasteless. No, I don’t have Covid-19. It’s texture and look is totally different. This has always been their best selling menu item. Why someone would change their best selling item is beyond comprehension. I will not be back unless they switch back to the old recipe. I am sad but threw most of it in the garbage. Hopefully this review will spur a response to change it back. Don’t want to hurt the business. Just want my old standby.

Not happy anymore with their Szechuan chicken, doesnt taste good anymore. Used to love this dish, was my familys favorite. The recipe and the breading has obviously been changed. If its not broke dont fix it! Extremely disappointed and wont be going back anymore, unless you bring back your original Szechuan chicken again.

My grandson loves the szechuan chicken. Im always the greatest grandma when I bring his favorite.

This used to be my favorite take out restaurant. They have changed their recipes and NOT for the better.The schezwan chicken has changed from big juicy pieces with lots of delicious sauce to what seems like dried frozen chicken with very little sauce. The noodles used to be the flat noodles with lots of vegtables is now round spaghetti noodles with very little vegtables.Their egg rolls are still delicious!Please Maple Express go back to what made you such a great place.

I used to love their sezchuan chicken! The last time I went I noticed they changed it. Tasted pretty gross. I dont think Ill go back.

We have been customers since the place opened. We used to go there a couple times a month. The Szechuan chicken used to be amazing and the noodles were the best in town, but now sadly the chicken and noodles are horrible. They changed their breaded chicken to one that is dry, chewy and salty. Their noodles are so dry and generic tasting now. The Szechuan sauce used to be so delicious with a good balance of sweet and spicy when combined with the chili oil, but now its just undescribably gnasty. We are so saddened to say that we wont be coming back unless things go back to their old quality, they have lost a long time customer. 😭

Great food. Fast service. When I arrive after peak dinner time, theyll usually cook up a dish for me if they are out of it on the line. Best Scheswan chicken around! Glad they kept the Maple Gardens family recipe alive!

What can I say. I did not see this place before pandemic, but I hope it just hard times. Your chief need to make a trip to a bigger city to try Chinese food. It can be much better.

The best Chinese food in Weber county!

We went there tonight for the 1st time in a year. It used to be our favorite place but we will not be going back again. They have changed their meat and breading. Horrible quality. And the Szechuan chicken sauce has been altered/changed as well and tastes horrible. Very disappointed

A 4% charge to use a credit card is a little excessive. Spicy beef was very bland.

I havent been here for a minute, But I must say Im a little disappointed. They charged me for my credit card And quality of the food is not the same. Mushroom chicken dish was 50% zucchini. Youd think soy sauce was gold because i got 1 when I asked for 3It was luke warm at best. Room for improvement.i was rushed but was only customer. Cmon guys! Ill return and hope that was one time glitch

First time going to this place and it was delicious. The food was fresh and hot and ready to go. The staff was friendly and the wait wasnt long. Appreciate the signs for social distancing. Will definitely be coming back.

Service was fast but food was nothing special. Their crispy chicken was soggy. The rice was mushy. Condisending little signs everywhere. Cheap decor, that seems a little confused.

This is the first time that we bought from this place and we love this local business. They are so clean, they give you a lot of yummy food. Honestly real Chinese food much better than Panda Express.

A friend from work mentioned that this place was okay for quick Chinese food however our first visit will be our last. The food was so bad I took it back and requested a refund. The flavor was off and my husband couldnt wash down the bad aftertaste with his beer.

This is such good Chinese food. Wantons are better elsewhere, but everything else is so amazing. Nothing has ever made me sickI hope, if you guys are ever slow on business, you just change locations instead of closing down, because Ive been in the car with people while they were driving, theyll suggest a place to eat, and Ill suggest maple express. The only reason they never want to go to maple express is because of how much of a pain it is to get in and out of the lot.

Its hard to find good Chinese food in Utah, but this place is certainly the best Ive had since moving here. Szechuan chicken is the best. Their sweet and sour sauce is so good. They have the best egg rolls. Im not usually a fan of noodles, but I actually love theirs.

They charge you 4% if you pay by credit card, not cool! I dont carry much cash on me, I like the convenience of a credit card. Your a business and I understand the high charge card companies charge but you should not pass that to a loyal customer. I wont be back.

When I saw this mom and pop Chinese spot I was pretty excited to try it. Definitely a hug disappointment. I got black pepper chicken and and beef and broccoli with fried rice and lo mein. It all tasted exactly the same. Which was bland. Huge portions and for under 8 bucks what can you expect. Wont find me there again. It was dead inside at noon so that should have given it away. Probably steer clear if you want food that is worth the calories.

Portions were generous, but the cashew chicken and pineapple chicken were bland and pedestrian at best.Might be willing to give this place one more try and if I do Ill try something spicier on the menu like Sichuan chicken... If thats bland as well then Im guessing that I wont go back...
