After the initial contact and quote, I waited 4 months of holding my deposit and not contacting me back after I sent multiple emails (when he says he answers emails every week, which he didnt). My job was supposed to be getting finished February and he finally sent an email apologizing and said the job wont be able to be started until the end of February. So end of February comes I send an email....no response. Then he calls me and cancels the job saying he doesnt want to work with me because I sent him too many emails? Super disappointing because I was super excited to work with him!

Robert does immaculate work, and is incredibly thorough. He is easy to work with, communicates well, and is very fair in his pricing on his services. I recommend Radical Instrument Products to anyone I can, and personally will drive over an hour to see him about work I need to have done; when itd be far more convenient to search around a little closer. Hes that good.

This guy is awesome! A great luthier and guitar technician! Ive had him do set ups, rewires, vintage work and hes even helped me with an arcade cabinet! I hope to have one of his custom guitars in the future. He has one of the best work attitudes Ive come across.

Got a 7 string set of Super78 Pickups from him recently and I cant say enough good things about them. I contacted him and set up an appointment to try them for my PRS SE7 (mahogany body w/ maple top, maple neck w/ rosewood fretboard). They are certainly what I needed to get more juice out of my distorted tone yet, have a clear articulate clean tone, all while not taking away from the instruments natural clarity. Would recommend these pickups for anybody looking for a brighter and punchy upgrade to their sound.

Rob has done work on a couple of my guitars and hes always delivered top notch service. I also use some of his hand wound pickups in my main guitar for live shows and studio work. His pickups are so good, theyve ruined just about every other pickup for me. Highest rung of luthier work in town.

Rob did some work on my lefty fender strat - routed the body and installed a humbucker in the bridge position, redid some frets, and set up the bridge. His work is top notch and one of these days I will be asking him to make me a custom lefty guitar. He is a great luthier and I definitely recommend him!

I met Rob at a show we played together a few years ago and he is one of the nicest, honest, and most genuine people Ive ever met. A few months after that my Charvel took a dive at band practice from a bad strap and broke the headstock into 3 or 4 pieces. I contacted Rob and took it up to his shop in Ogden and he put it together like nothing had ever happened including fabricating a missing piece of wood to perfectly match the other pieces. I had him put gold into the scars for a unique look thats one of a kind. Now my Charvel is stronger than ever and the finish job is flawless. Between being a luthier and running fantastic opportunities for local builders like the SLAMM fest, Rob is one of the highest grade humans around and has the ability to fix anything he lays his hands on.
