Weve not been here in ages even though we are local because we havent been out and about much in 18 months. We had some errands nearby and figured wed at least drive by and see if we actually wanted to go inside. There are multiple signs leading to the entrance, all informing customers that masks are required. I think this might be the FIRST retail store Ive encountered in almost two years, at least in this country, that requires masks. WE WERE ELATED! So...huge points to Amer Sports, not just for their customer service and reliability, but for dong the right thing to protect your staff and customers. Got a cute dress. Hubby got a nice shirt. Staff is, and always has been amazing, but they earn even more points for requiring masks. As a small business owner, I know what theyve had to deal with...

You can find great deals on well made clothing and shoes. The clearance section was really good deals. The staff there is always helpful and nice.

Great customer service, but I feel like the prices are incredibly high for an outlet store. However, if youre a size 6 womens shoe, youre going to be able to get great deals on their display shoe clearances.

My must stop store every time I visit Ogden - best prices on Salomon, Arcteryx, Peak Performance, Atomic, Suunto and Wilson products. I rarely leave without at least one pair of Salomon shoes.

Great products, poor customer service.Unbeknownst to us, we happened to walk in on the last day of a season clearance sale about an hour before close. We were interested in spending quite a bit of money to gear up for the season, but walked out spending only $800 and later returning several items that we purchased because we had been rushed out before we were able to try things on.I was interested in purchasing a pair of hiking boots, had someone help me pull sizes and explain some features to me, but then they disappeared. Because they had started turning lights off almost 20 minutes prior to their closing time, I decided to abandoned the shoes and start trying on the clothes I had pulled and been told to set in a fitting room. When I got to my fitting room, all of my items had been removed. I was super embarrassed and apologized for the inconvenience, since they clearly thought I was done with the room. When I asked where the clothes had gone, I was given yet another annoyed response to check the racks. I was able to relocate most of them on the go-back racks, but because they had turned even more lights off about 10 minutes prior to closing, I couldn’t see what I was trying on and decided to disregard the whole thing. As it got closer to close the employees attitudes became very standoffish and short. When I asked if I could leave my jackets I intended to purchase on the corner counter, the employee gave me a dramatic reaction, half rolled his eyes and said “Sureee” without ever looking at me. Multiple annoyed responses like that were given as we neared the closing hour to both me and my fiancé. I believe that we and another pair of people ended up walking out at 6:05, just 5 minutes past closing. Having worked in many retail venues before and being a current business hour, I was completely turned off by the behavior of the staff at Amers. They made the shopping experience stressful and unenjoyable. If you’re having a 50% off clearance sale on a high-end, brand-name product, and its the last day of the sale, you should be prepared to be closing a little late. There were 5 people on staff that evening, had even one of them been just a little more helpful, we may have actually made it out of there on time so they could all go home. I’m also confused as to why they were still letting people in the store 10-15 minutes before clothes if it was such an inconvenience to deal with the customers that were already in there. Had they just been honest and said “Is there anything specific we can help you find? Were closing up shop in about 10 minutes.” It would have made for a much better experience. But the passive aggressive attitudes were a total turn off.We have been wanting to stop in here for weeks and were very disappointed. The gear we picked up was great, but Id rather use the corporate discount I have access to and shop online than go back to this store, and that’s exactly what I’d tell anyone who asked me as well.

Love this shop! heavily discounted arcteryx items near the front of the store are great deals. blake was super helpful in retrieving a receipt from a purchase a few months ago and sending it to me. really appreciate the great customer service!!!

Look, I love this place, have spent many dollars there, referred many a friend and family and colleague there whom have all spent many dollars there. Today with covid, my experience was stressed. I wore a mask reluctantly and when I approached a female sales associate to ask for help she told me to raise my mask higher on my face as it only partially covered my nose, I said it is covering my mouth and she said the nose is important too, we were on either side of plexiglass and close to 6 feet apart too. Have we lost our minds, the recommendation is a mask OR distance, we are losing our senses. She didnt want to help much to make that story short. I perused around for a bit, another young man helped me find another pair of shoes and we went to check out. I offered my Dollars for payment and he said they could not accept cash dollars, WHAT? Listen this is a bit crazy, we all need to take some good hearty deep breaths and regain our sanity. Everything is sanitized to a dangerous level and yet we cant speak with each other openly (with a tip of our nose showing) or handle cash??!! I pray for sanity as well as continued wellness, my habit have always been to wash my hands and cover my mouth if I cough or sneeze, I think those measures prevail in all time. Ill be back, I love this place but lets be a little wiser about all of this silliness, people need people.

A great selection of both salomon and arcteryx gear. Right now with Covid they are limiting the number of people in the store which is fine but one of the employees told me and a freind to stop screwing around... I guess going back and forth and buying $2300 worth of gear is fooling around. But the store itself is bomb

This store is inside one of those Ogden historic buildings. Is really awesome inside. I was able to get an amazing pair of shoes for 60% off. Its mostly for hikers climbers generally outdoorsy people. So if youre looking for those kinds of things you will love this place. And the employees were over the top helpful.

Ive been in several times getting ready for a couple different occasions. I went in before the Ogden marathon to get a jacket, went in before a Ragnar Trail event to get some trail running shoes, and went in before a backpacking trip to Kings Peak to get geared up with some clothing. Each time the employees were extremely helpful and gave lots of recommendations. Plenty of selection too. Best of all, the prices were awesome! I recommend this place to all my friends who are looking to get outfitted before their next adventure!

My wife and I went in on Tuesday to buy some shoes. They didnt have what I wanted at the time but my wife bought some great running apparel and a great deal. Even though I didnt find what I needed they were super helpful and friendly. Great customer service.

First time Ive ever been here and it was their annual shoe samples sale. Great deals on shoes, ended up getting about a dozen pairs (hey dont judge...some were for other people). The selection and quality of their normal inventory is also fantastic. If you are in the area, definitely check it out.

So I came here on the advice of a friend who knew I needed new trail shoes.Its an outlet store, so I expected cheap prices. They delivered. But... I received a level of service I have nevet experienced at an outlet store before!Not only did I walk out with a pair of running shoes 60% cheaper than the manufacturers online price, but I also received great advice on transitioning from road to trail, some suggestions for great local runs, and great ideas on winter gear!The hours are tight, as they close at six. But the staff more than make up for it.

Watches, jackets are expensive easy to find elsewhere for less on line. The shoes are generally lower priced and worth checking out. Only carry Suunto which is a infamously overpriced inferior watch.

Absolutely love this store! ArcTeryx is one of my favorite brands, and when I can get my favorite brand at 40-70% off, whats not to love? The staff is knowledgeable about the layering systems they sell, and are always friendly.

The people here are really nice and helpful and the store is very clean and well organized. My only reason for taking off a star is the fact that there are no hard goods here like skis and poles.

If you are looking for a discount on Arcteryx gear, this is the place to go. We went during their 45% off sale in late February. Sales team were courteous and gave us our space to browse freely. Their Mavic and Suunto selection were not as good as Arcteryx or Salomon though. We didnt even see Atomic or Wilson products in the store.

Extremely friendly staff, and great discounts. Always check the clearance shoes for amazing deals. Sometimes the selectioin is limited, but wait for a sale, and get crazy on the arcteryx.
