I made an online purchase of a 20in box fan. When I got it out of the box tonight the fan is a used product. It has scratches around the edges as if placed in a windowsill and the window closed onto it. It was the only one left in stock. I stopped purchasing from Walmart for selling used items guess you are next Target

Ive been going to this location since I moved to East Lansing (about 2 years) and this place is alwaya organized and filled with friendly staff. One in particular, Joann, is always such a delight to interact with. She is always bubbly, kind, patient, and overall the type of person you would always want to interact with in customer service. As someone with previous retail experience, I know it can grind you down and be incredibly draining, but Joann has consistently provided top-notch customer service with a fun and positive attitude, and I hope she is recognized for that . 😊

Always a clean store, friendly employees at checkout, and an overall great experience. Never had a bad encounter here, and in the past when we bought a christmas tree an employee helped us take down the floor model and get boxes from the back to be able to take into our car. Great attitudes and I enjoy shopping here.

I wanted to reach out to say Ken in your electronics department is AMAZING! After visiting 3 other Targets in search of a specific TV which all 4 stores said they had( none of them did even this store), Ken made it right. He found us a TV better than we we anticipated and put us as a priority. This guy should be the model of customer service for Target. I’ll definitely come to Target of Okemos again so I can work with Ken again. He wouldn’t even take a tip after spending an hour helping us, including loading the TV up for us. Great Job Ken! You deserve a raise!

I am unable to wear a mask for multiple reasons, so to be respectful of Targets new policies I placed an order for pickup. When I got there, they refused to let me pick up my order. I politely explained that I was trying to get out of the store as quickly as I could and that I was unable to wear one (I have a mask that my doctor recommended but I had forgotten it), but the lady ignored me and just kept saying over and over that I needed a mask. Even when I told her that I had already paid for the order, she would not offer any other options for me to get my items and just kept repeating the same phrase. Finally, I asked if I could go stand outside and they would bring the order to me. I ended up standing in the store much longer than I had intended, which is counterintuitive to Targets alleged attempt to protect health, and made me uncomfortable as well because honestly people dont try very hard to social distance. I dont appreciate that mistreating people with medical conditions has become normalized in many places and I dont plan to shop here anymore.

Never shopping here again. I bought an item. Got cash back from a machine. It gave me four 10 dollar bills. I just need two 5 dollar bills. Some young kid told me it was like a policy that they dint break a bill despite me just getting change. I also hated that he laughed while saying we dont do that i said thats poor customer service snd said im not coming back. Little boy couldnt care less. No way Target has this policy to not break a 10 dollar bill! Apparently, my money is no good to them.

The store is extremely clean and organized! I want to turn the attention to one of the workers I met there although. Her name is Charlie and she and I struck up some light conversation as I waited for the self checkout. She immediately exuded such a wonderful and positive attitude! Her and I both talked more and I left the store with a smile although I was just buying a quick snack. People like her make me want to drive twenty minutes more to go to this Target!

I have a service animal who I take everywhere. She isnt a disability service animal, so I always ask before doing so. The woman at the door said itd be fine, so I grabbed what I needed and went to check out. The woman at the check out lane glared at me for several minutes before (illegally) asking what type of disability she is for. When I kindly told her, despite the law, she scoffed at me and was extremely rude. I wont be shopping here again as long as that worker is there.

Thunder, the manager of the technology/mobile department, is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products. I purchased a new phone and despite complications out of his control (the first phone we tried to set up was tampered with), he was able to get me set-up with a phone in under an hour, even staying 30 minutes after his shift ended. I highly recommend going to Target to purchase phones instead of Verizon, Sprint, etc. Painless process and wonderful customer service. Thanks Thunder!

I was ECSTATIC at the support by Lauren on the day I was shopping and in need of bins that were not on the store floor.

My salesman Ken from the Okemos Michigan store kept my business at Target. I have had trouble with using my target red card for years. Today I tried to purchase my sons birthday gift online but my purchase was declined. After work I then drove to the 1st target store in South Lansing and purchased the 1st part of the gift for $303.00. I then drove to a second target store to purchase the main gift for my son. Yet again my card was declined for $271.00. I called the number to inquire why and was told I dont have enough purchasing history to have my second purchase approved. (Mine you I am always at Target making purchases I just forget to use my red card that is attached to my debt Card from time to time). I was very upset with the supervisor that had answered the red card customer service call so my salesman Ken jumped onto the call to try to help me. Unfortunately your red card customer service really didnt care even though I was using the same account to pay for my purchase. Ken felt this was unfair and was able to talk to the right people and help me get my gift at the red card price. On a scale from 1 to 10 I give Ken at the Okemos Michigan store a 50. Target has a great employee and I wouldnt want to lose him. Not only is he very outgoing, he is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. I will be telling family and friends how great of a shopping experience I had because of your employee Ken.

I was looking to purchase a Toshiba multifuntion microwave but seeing it was expensive at its original store I looked online to see that Target had it for $50 bucks cheaper and on the website it said they had them in stock at this location. But when I went to buy one I couldnt find a single Toshiba product. A bit confused and disappointed I went to the service desk to see if they were out of stock when the website said they had one. But the woman at the counter didnt even attempt to help me, she just looked at my phone as I showed her what the site said and read the first date she saw telling me that was they would have them. Walking away embarassed that I must have overlooked the date I read it more and it was just the date for it to deliver to my home. At this point I might as well just order it online...

I received excellent customer service from Mikayla, Katie, Madison and Lauren. The Okemos, Michigan target employees are very professional and always helpful. The Starbuck employees are great as well.

Target sucks when it comes to plus size womens clothes. First of all they place them almost combined with maternity clothes. There is hardly ANY selection to choose from. I wont even consider buying clothes from Target until this long standing practice is corrected.

The story is too long to tell. I would just state that Target offered me about $6.00 in store credit for items that I had paid about $24.00 for a couple of months earlier (in perfect condition). After contacting their national complaint department, my full credit was received, but the local store was disrespectful and I believe attempted to bully me. This may be an anomaly....or may not. I would ask people to relay their customer service experiences here.

Im not a huge fan of target and not sure what the hype is all about. Prices arent all that great, went in first day of school for supplies, they were picked over and didnt really have a lot of stuff left. Shoe department is a disaster and a disappointment. Im not sure what makes this peoples go to for shopping but its not for me I guess.

I paid money in the store for target credit card, but they didnt recharge my card. then I received the delay fee. I went to the store want to resolve the problem but they had a really bad attitude. One minute they said they could watch the surveillance with me, the next they said they couldnt watch the surveillance.

The usual Target store, a bit smaller than the ones Im used to in California, but still decent. It is fairly clean and located near other plaza/malls in Okemos.

Has a little bit of everything. I love the home decor the most!

If it werent for the short supervisor lady who was clearly carefully watching us check out with the nice cashier, we would be pleased. My girlfriend dropped like $2 in change right in front of super angry short supervisor lady and God Forbid she help me pick it all up! Nope. She just stood there and watched me pick up every penny. How incredibly RUDE!!! Watch out... super angry short supervisor lady thinks youre stealing when you arent! Judgmental much? Yeah I will go to the other side of town to skip that rudeness next Target time.
