Unit very clean staff was super nice and very helpful. A very nice looking facility. I had to change my reservation and they did it with no problem.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this facility for the indoor storage units 5x9 or any of the units inside. The building is super make shift as if someone just threw the facility up with some old wood and metal roof panels as doors. Each unit doesn’t have a top to it. The building is misleading from the outside and photos on the site. I do not recommend this facility from an inside unit stand point. Find another spot snd get a view of inside a unit before you go. It might be close to MSU but you can do much better. Also suggestion if you think you need it for college storage, set up your dorm first then see what you have left. We moved our daughter in and realized we had no use for it.

My experience with Cube Smart was very satisfying. I went online to make a reservation. The representative was very knowledgeable. He walked me thru the process with no problems. I received a text that everything was handled. When I got to the location, Becca helped me fill out the rental agreement. She explained what the storage hours were, what my code (part of my cell number) was for entering the premises, a simple way to locate my storage unit and what time I needed to be out before the gate would be locked for the night. I like where the facility is located. Thanks for everything!

I submitted an application for a storage unit online, and within 24 hours the manager had called me to finish the process and made sure I knew how everything worked. I was emailed a code for the gate along with instructions on how to access our space. We didnt have to go into the office at all--everything was done online and was fast and easy. Management was very responsive to emails and responded right away. Thanks to Becca for great service!

This business had a major break-in during the overnight hours of Saturday 7/5/2020. Supposedly the customers whose storage units and RVs were damaged/stolen were contacted, but no one else who rents space was alerted. This business has NO video cameras on the south end of the property where the thieves cut through the chain link fence and where most of the RVs are stored. As of today there are no new cameras installed. The monthly fee for storing here keeps creeping up, but the level of security is suspect.

Good price on 1st month; clean unit; friendly and helpful staff.

Luckily we found Self Storage. This is by far the best facility in Mid-Michigan. The entire process of discussing availability to rental paperwork to reviewing units available to moving in was flawless. The ladies in the office were courteous, pleasant and very helpful. My wife and I have been recommending Self Storage to everyone.

I didnt know exactly what day I needed the storage unit or how big of a unit I needed. They were always willing to help move my date around to accommodate my situation. This was truly appreciated in such a crazy hectic and unpredictable time. Kindness goes a long way, and I have since referred multiple MSU friends who need a storage unit to cubesmart on jolly rd. People are quick to complain but I feel great customer service should not go unnoticed. Amazing staff. Jessie helped me out a lot especially helping me carry my mattress up the steps. She didnt have to at all and still insisted to help. I will forever appreciate it. Only thing sorta I could complain about was that my last month Ill still be charge for even thou ill only be there for half the month. But other than that the rates were good and great staff

We signed with Simply Self Storage in April of 2017 when we sold our house. Six months into having our stuff store our monthly rate increased almost 50 dollars with just an email notification. When my wife asked why they did that she was told “this helps get people to move their stuff out so we can get new costumers”.Then when we got our stuff out of the storage unit there was mice poop EVERYWHERE! Literally all over the storage unit and everything in it.I called and spoke with Becca to notify her that my storage unit had a mice infestation. All she did was email me a pamphlet to make an insurance claim. I got absolutely to sympathy from her, not even a “sorry this happen to you”. All I got was a “did you have insurance”. I had my life in that storage unit. All of my family’s belongings. All of my kids toys just covered in mice poop. Blankets that my wife’s aunt made who died for our kids, covered in mice poop. Everything nearly ruined and I don’t even get a sorry or any type of compensation. I will now have to most likely jump threw hoops to get money back that won’t nearly cover my belongings. I am so disapointed in their service I would never recommend anyone to store their belongings here.

Incredibly nice and helpful staff. Made the moving process less painful. Fair rates on the units which have a 1 concrete lip on the inside floor to make sure rain can not enter from under the door. Good prices on boxes and supplies as well. Great experience.

Got a unit for my parents. The unit was small and clean exactly what we needed. Becca in the office was nice and very personable.

When I first moved back to Michigan, I needed somewhere to store all of my things before I settled in.I had a space at this place and it was great. It was very secure and super clean. Most storage units Ive rented arent always the cleanest so I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Will definitely return if I ever need storage again!

I used this storage facility to store my MSU students dorm contents over the summer. They told me by phone the correct size of a storage unit to fit a futon, carpet, and other dorm size items. They e-mailed me the contract in May and didnt charge me until June. The storage unit was completely appropriate and you can access your unit by key code. They e-mail your invoice and you can pay online. The cost was reasonable and we didnt have to bring her stuff home. At the end of August, we removed our items and that was it! I definitely recommend.

I just moved my dads items out of storage and the place was really clean. Becky and Jessica were really helpful with getting the movers in and out and directing them were to go. I am planning to use this storage for my own items in a few months now that I know its here. Thanks staff!

Fell flat on my face because of all the ice and hurt myself. So thanks for that. Also found out that in addition to paying for a storage unit, I have to be a groundskeeper. Apparently, you had salt available in your office. Upon walking from my unit, up to the office I almost slipped and fell 3 more times. Again, thanks for that. Only to find the female employee that was in the office when I first arrived was suddenly no where to be found. This was also during work hours, so why she was missing for so long is beyond me.

A decent price for a small unit. Friendly staff person but she was overworked, no coverage for her vacationing co-worker so she was alone. The online price was a bit deceptive: did not mention $24 administrative fee (1st month only,) or the mandatory $10 insurance.

Friendly service. Prices went up without additional value being provided. They were robbed in 2016 overnight. Budget truck rental lies about what is available from this location... not simply self services fault. Budget just sucks. I just happened to check on my budget reservation and they did not have a truck available. They wers not going to notify me until the day before my reservation
