Coming from European antiques, Im a bit harder to impress...however, they do have some pretty cool gems in here. Each stall is hit or miss..some are cool, some should have been recycled. Pricing is in the medium to high range. We went during the week and many shops were closed, assuming they are weekend shops. Definitely worth a visit.
This was my first time visiting farmers market! Everyone was very nice, friendly, was offered several samples! You also exchanged some of your SNAP benefits for tokens! Almost all the vendors excepted the tokens..prices kinda pricey but it was all fresh food so well worth it oh and got some awesome heart and liver grinded with chicken bone! My dogs loved it! I will be attending this event as much as possible!
Have loved this place since I was about 5 years old,and still coming back 52 years later. For me,it is being in a place that my Father use to bring me to. And a great source for antiques. I never leave without purchasing some forgotten treasure. Take a look, you might find something you been missing.
**This review is for the music venue portion of the Farmers Market**Pros: This place is cool. Its old, decently cared for, has neat windows. The dance floor itself is huge. I have never felt crowded there.Security is adequate, but I have never felt hassled.Cons: this place sounds AWFUL. The speakers have to be blown. It sounds really really really bad.The bar area is woefully inadequate to handle even a medium sized music event. 20-30 minute wait for drinks. Also, check your receipt, they WILL try and rip you off. They really need a second bar (and they have the space for it, too).It gets super hot in the main room. People were going to the bathroom to cool off because there are windows in the bathrooms. Mild gripe, this is my least concern.Seriously though, the speakers sound so bad I wont be back until they fix this issue. This place really does have potential though.
Wonderful little market that has been in downtown Oklahoma City for as long as I can remember. For some reason Ive always felt you never stop at the first stall because the hidden gems are in the back of any venue because of cheaper booth rent hole in the wall status or flat out superstition however the best stall I found was called Pams Plants. Great variety of vegetables fruit melons plants flowers and herbs with very friendly and informative staff. Theyre the only stall there that is open 8:30 to 5:30pm 363 days a year. If youre looking for locally grown or sourced produce and plants make sure you dont miss the first stall on the Northwest side of the market. You wont be disappointed.
The Saturday morning market was such a fun place to shop for produce, specialty foods and local handmade goods. I was impressed by the level of quality and quantity of vendors, even during the pandemic.I really enjoyed talking with the different vendors about their farms and goods, where they were located in the OKC Metro and finding out details about their businesses. From LWJs who sells farmed catfish to fresh produce this market has something for everyone. It was a fun atmosphere on a Saturday morning with musicians outside and plenty of space inside for shopping. I was actually a little disappointed to see how few shoppers there were in attendance when I was there. These vendors need more customers! The antique mall next door was a fun second stop.Ill be sure to be back buying from these small local businesses at the farmers public market!
We do by this place everytime we are in town. Amature something new. Super friendly vendors. Cool area with flea market next door.
The farmers market is open every Saturday. There are a number of local artisans You have goods to sell. There is fresh local honey, milk, eggs, vegetables, plants, as well as fresh catfish sandwiches, coffee, soap, and other handmade products. Some goods include knitted items, handcrafted cups and bowls, and other small items.Everyone is very friendly and inviting. The food is incredible. I highly recommend going and walking around and showing up a little hungry.Theres parking close by and the doors are handicapped accessible.
My husband and I tried this for the fist time this past weekend. To be honest we were a little disappointed, there was not a lot of produce to be found. There was a lot of baked and home cooked goods. There is crafts as well. It is free to get in so it is definitely worth trying and seeing what they have. They also have frozen meets and various cheeses as well. Will try them again, we were just hoping for some more produce options.
First time there for senior shopping. This is truly a real Farmers market.people are friendly. Helpful . Place to go to on a Saturday. Produce is fresh, eggs also, homemade sausage, tasty and more.
This is a super awesome venue, the staff is super energetic and kind, and the security is really nice, theyll do everything they can to make sure you have a great experience. Thank you farmers market! I will definitely return for your edm shows♥️
Extremely disappointed. One the line-up felt thrown together. Mics kept cutting out all night. Do NOT pay for VIP at this venue bc there is NOT a VIP section. Its all the same spot. They just rip you off for more money apparently. I would expect concerts to get better with age not worse.I did email someone. Ive gotten no response.
Love this place. The event room upstairs is perfect for any kind of party, wedding, office meeting. You name it. So cool
This place is equally ugly on the inside. Cannabis events should not be happening in tbis dump
Rage in the cage! All in all a good place for events thats 100% for sure present ID for alcohol lines for bathroom are always long just like anywhere else at any other venues. Recommend it
Wide variety of foods and drinks. Endless samples of delicious things. Left with more than I planned and Ill probably be back next week.
This was a new experience. It was awesome. There was so much to look at and buy.
Nice small market. Lots of good vegetables, snacks, succulents, etc. Lots of food samples! Other markets close.
My friend and I were going to the Farmers Market @ Scissortail Park, but it was so very crowded (and hot). We decided to go to the Farmers Public Market, and it was inside with fans blowing - so it was a little cooler. All the vendors were so nice and friendly. We will go back!!
Great venue in OKC for Concerts, MMA, festivals, & anything else you can think of.
Actually Ive been there before very nice business competitive pricing arelow end to med. And high.you can do a lot of things. There are a lot of things to do and I think 🤔 its a bargain 😀
Oh! My goodness, there is plenty for everyone here. This place was nice if you needed to do some spur of the moment shopping or birthday shopping. Some of the homemade crafts were very nice. Handicap accessible bathrooms and parking. Vendors very nice, happy and helpful. Good lighting in the building and bathrooms were close. While there I saw several things of interest, bought a few things and had a nice time.
This was my first visit, but definitely not my last! My Daughter and I enjoyed all the food samples offered, from goat sausage to vegan collard greens, green beans and cabbage soup to fried catfish! We will be frequent customers!
Farmers market on Saturdays is great. The vinue upstairs is classic - old school with a twist of modern chic. Great space for events - located upstairs.
Its a great place,to shop and have fun, yummy Hot. Dogs.
Love going to the farmers market and just wandering around on a Saturday.
Great place to get a variety of things. Veggie, Keto desserts( Desserts by Marshelle), and Olive oils, etc.
This place has been very iconic in Oklahoma City for many years. It is akin to the Ryman Auditorium.
We were here on a Friday afternoon during the summer and there was hardly anyone around. But it was worth the stop. I have never seen organic cherries for sale before now. And they cost $2.99/lb. There was only one produce market open, but also a farm to market with a little produce, meats, cheeses, sauces, goat soap, and some other farm to market items. Part of the area includes an interesting antique/junk mall market. Worth a visit.
There are a lot more vendors here than I expected. Dozens of tables selling produce, cookies, cheesecake, candies, cakes, fruits, hummus, gumbo, and more. The place was busy when we were here.
This antique store/mall has many vendors. Each with their own theme of old stuff. Some new metal art work was there and it fit in well. My friend there, Kenny, I think he said the market had been there since the 1930s. There is a guy there, Bob, whom has been there every day from the beginning. Cash or check are welcome. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. Good parking.
Had family from out of State and we had fun, great seeing things from our past or either our parents had or grandparents had when we were kids growing up, lots of fun. Thank You Guys❣
I love the farmers market and all the vendors!
Loved it. I picked out a cantaloupe that was so sweet.
Had a great time at the 81st Rage in the Cage, will return for future events. Beautiful building.
Amazing experience never have i ever thought it could be so cool
That was a fun visit. I purchased a beautiful tea serving, rolling tray. We came too late for some of the vendors so well be back.
A lot of things were overpriced. $15 for a lb of turkey sausage thats frozen.
Amazing products, sweet people and good prices.
The Saturday farmers market is open year round. Its a great place to stock up on local products from produce and proteins to flowers, baked goods, and other crafted goods. There are also a lot of local food vendors during the market serving up bbq, fish sandwiches, pretzels and more.
So much vareity.. enjoy buying from private farm producers..and they have a antique pavilion..so you can empty your wallet in a hurry.
Lot of different choices friendly people.
Great place for connections, vintage stuff, flowers and produce, and more .. great way to spend a Saturday morning, free!
Wanted more fresh foods..most was thrift store items. But fun for that kind of looking.
Fun atmosphere for events and helpful staff
Went to the DMX concert tour. Plenty of space. Standing room only. Temp was comfortable. The bartenders did their best to cater to your mixed drink choices. 2 flights of steps. Also has a balcony. Didnt see an elevator but Im sure one is there. Large windows. Close view isnt exciting but you can see the downtown buildings as well.Only have one pic that can gauge the size of the venue. Pic is after the concert. Way more to be seen.
Best local market in OKC!
Went for Canna Grudge 3. Enjoyed the fights and smoking at the venue
Great place to shop for vegetables, sweets, drinks, etc, Antiques on the weekends, several local vendors with a variety of various items
Great place to pick up fresh produce and homemade items.
Went to Canna Grudge. Nice place.
Went to PAMS, the people there are very friendly and knowledgeable
OKC Farmers Public Market — good selection of meat (chicken, lamb, beef, buffalo, and wagu), sausages (pork, chicken, and goat), farm raised catfish, veggies, fruits, eggs, breads, pecans, honey, home canned jelly/jam etc. Fresh from local farms. Product quality very good but wish market size was larger. Best selection when the market opens. Market occupies first floor. Some vendors also sell just north of the public market building. When OSU market on Portland closed some vendors relocated here.
Love it! Great fresh local food and they now accept EBT. Thanks farmers market
Was there about an hour before staff decided I was threat to safety after a railing fell. Would not recommend to my dearest of friends.
A nice retro place to spend some time on the weekend. Plenty of plants for sale and the Farmers Market is full of natural Oklahoma products.
Great venue for live shows
This was new for us. Very different than normal Farmers Markets but very active and unique items to buy.
Friendly people. BBQ sauce. Smoked Turkey leg .Summer sausage and herbal teas. Must check them out!
Great place to shop for fresh meat, produce, local honey and more!
Fun experience at the fights (RITC) but they NEVER start on time, & slightly unprofessional. NOT farmers market fault. Went for Subhunter pro and it was PERFECT
I ALWAYS ENJOY ATTENDING EVENTS AT THIS VENUE. GREAT FACILITY!
A great Saturday morning starting point to explore OKC. Midtown is within a half a mile will great restaurants. OKC has at times a small town friendly feel.
Lots of different vendors...pretty neat place!!!!!
I absolutely love this place for a concert venue!!
Have been going for years enjoyed the variety. Nothing But Greens, is now the star attraction.
Kind of expensive, but very friendly people and good food.
Everyone was kind and explained how their product or food was made and how it could benefit you!
Good people and some interesting products. Well worth the trip!
The antique part was very interesting But no real needed items. As it was Sunday the farmers market was closed. Nice way to be inside on a windy day.
Nice place its more of a farmers market then others
Great atmosphere, good selection of vendors...I will be back
Just a bunch of heck yes! Love it!
Great atmosphere! Definitely worth the visit!
Need better mics and equipment for concerts other then that concerts were cool
Sketchy area, not a place to be after dark
I really like coming to this market. I wish they had more vendors and more variety of vendors. They currently have great veggie selections.
Not what I expected but it was ok
What type of farmers market is closed sundays
Love seeing shows here.
I thought it would have been bigger than it was. There was a nice selection of various veggies, and some honey, few jams and someone selling cookies. They also had meats. All the vendors were very nice.
