Micks Automotive is family owned, which is one of the reasons why I love them so much! They are not just a chain.They get to know you over time and, of course, get to know your vehicles very well. There are very reasonable with pricing, and timely. Finally, I have a mechanic I can trust!

Micks is ALWAYS less costly than any other auto repair shop. Hes also completely honest & never tries to do more than I ask.

Took my truck to Micks Auto because my A/C was leaking. They found a leak in the evaporator. I gave them the go ahead to replace the evaporator and condenser while they were at it. Charged me $1,320 to replace them, my A/C never worked. It would blow some cool air but not cold enough to cool my truck. I took my truck back to them and told them it was not cooling. They said it’s doing all it can do, I just need to tint the front windshield. I thought that was weird because my A/C always worked great before, but I tinted the front windshield anyways and even replaced all the tinting on the sides and back windows with ceramic tinting. Still that did not help the A/C. I called again to let them know that didn’t work. Took my truck back and they said they could run a vacuum and recharge it with refrigerant for $75. After explaining to him how much money I had already spent at his shop and tinting my windshield like he suggested, he decided to do it for free. After he was done doing all that, I asked “So it should work now?” He said yes. It still did not work. I called again and told them who I was and asked for Mick. They hung up on me. I drove over there and told Mick it still does not work. He put his hand up to the vent and said it’s blowing cold air the A/C doesn’t lie. I don’t know what to tell you man, you bought a Dodge. If Dodge’s A/C didn’t work, they’d never sell a truck. The air blowing from the vent is only cool if you have your hand right on it. That is not cold enough to prevent you from sweating in the truck, especially for my kids in the back seat. Each time I went back to these guys, they became ruder and ruder. Finally took my truck to Firestone and they found the problem for just $10!!! My compressor is going out and that’s why it’s not cooling properly. One star for this place for not being able to find the problem, for being rude and possibly causing the compressor to go out right after they had worked on it. It could be a coincidence but I’m not sure. I replaced the condenser and compressor myself with a buddy from work, and now it works great! Don’t waste your time, they will just make your problems worse!

My brother goes to this place for his car and I’ll tell you what. My brother knows his stuff. This man is very picky and has a BMW M5. Solid place and great service.

Micks is one of the best shops in Oklahoma. He did great quality work on my BRZ. Brought it in with some pretty good front End damage. Mick went above and beyond to bring it back looking better than before. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate to use his services again.

Hands down the most honest and talented mechanic in town.Listen, its next to impossible to find a mechanic who isnt in it for themselves and short sighted... they assume that taking good care of the customer isnt the way to make money, instead, they trump up the cost, tell you something youre forced to take at face value and hope you let them do the work... these guys are NOT like that. Mick literally troubleshot the issue with me standing right there... and hes the one that invited me to watch !! Im a pretty smart fella... and I can usually tell when something doesnt make sense but he walked through the mechanics of the issue and explained how it worked and why mine wasnt... and it made perfect sense. He could have invented work that didnt need to be done but instead he only charged what he had to and even looked around for parts that were less expensive to save money... and you know what? Hes the only mechanic Ill ever take my car to from now on... and the only mechanic Ill ever recommend... which Im doing right now, go see them.

Was on vacation from Reno and the AC in my Ford F350 died in 100 degree weather. Called around and no one had time for me. Even Mick said he wasnt sure he could fix it. But he said to bring it in. I did and he found that the compressor was bad. He was leaving for a vacation to Las Vegas in the morning but he and his mech stayed after hours to get me back on the road in comfort. Micky has my utmost respect and he truly came through for my wife and I .

Paid for my gas tank to be fixed (200 bucks) the leak came back less then a week later. Told me his repair was not a good/ perfect repair and that is why it wouldnt hold but would give me a discount to send it back in and get the same problem fixed? In other words he doesnt stand behind his work.

The guys here do great work. Had them smoke a light for me and had it back quickly & painted perfectly! Will definitely be back!

My mother and I were on a roadtrip and had less then 4hrs until we made it to our final destination when our battery light came on. Long story short, Mick, had us back on the road with a new alternator in less then 2 hours. He was honest and straightforward about other concerns we had regarding our 2003 avalanche. Cant say enough nice things about the impromptu situation. Wish we had a shop like his in Arkansas. To Mick... an honest mechanic is hard to come by so we appreciate the opportunity to have met you. More parts werebroken when I picked it up then when I dropped it off. Parts they fixed broke a week later.

This place is great. My boyfriend took his car to this shop and we were warmly greeted and even got a tour of the facility. Mickey took us back into the shop and let us look underthe car and pointed out exactly what was going and what he was going to do to fix it.

This guy doesnt screw around. He tells you what needs to be fixed and does it at a great price. No bamboozles.
