The path around the lake is well mantained. We went all the way around by bike in the 2020/2021 winter and it was great although the wind made it very hard. I think there are 14 miles in total. We also drove to point 10 and 11 but those spots were less clean than the marina and the park close to them, but the sunset in gorgeous from that side of the lake

Early mornings are so peaceful and quiet. Sitting on the bank, listening to the fish jump out of the water and splash back down after catching their breakfast. The bright sun shining through the trees is very beautiful. The smell of the campfires around the lake reminds me of childhood trips with grandparents. Beautiful lake

Nice, local lake in S.E. Okc. Good lake for boating, skiing, jet skiing, and fishing. Swimming is not allowed but people do it anyway and I think we should be able to swim at our own risk.

I went fishing for 1 day with my sister and dad. We caught 1 good sized fish and 3 baby fishes we threw back in the water. Stayed there for 5 hours. It was fun.

Decent lake, nice boat ramps and docking area. Not a huge lake, but great for jet skiing, kayaking, and paddle boarding.

The cross timbers campground was a Pretty great place to camp with my kiddo. I prefer primitive camping, but we were undisturbed by camp hosts and people. Just a raccoon friend.Perfect.

Very underrated. There are nice trails, very accessible if a little hilly, great views, access to boating, nature and 11 miles of trails and horseback riding.

We love coming out to Draper. Last evening a guy shot a harmless water snake right by us. That wasnt harassing anyone. We left before we wanted to. Had our daughter and grandkids with us. Very disappointed.

The road construction is almost complete and the remarkable change is bringing more recreationalist to the area. Very nice access improvements with new paved parking, great bike trail completed around lake.

Got some really good photos and the people there were super nice and friendly. Easy and fun to fish/boat/relax as well.

Excellent multi-purpose paved trail suitable for bicycles, running or walking. Trail is approximately 14 miles with 750 feet of elevation change.

Easily accessible docks for jet skis, kayaks, and boat ramps. Great fishing on all sides of the lake with playgrounds so my kiddo can play.

I really like the new building. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. The people that work there are knowledgeable about the lake, campgrounds, and off road park (for ATVs and dirt bikes). The boat ramp is conveniently located near the trailer parking lot. They have alot of picnic tables with grills for cooking outside.

The city has really invested in Lake Stanley Draper. The bike paths and brains are great. There is a little concession/ shop here with nice clean restrooms.Anyone would enjoy this marina!

My advice to you is to go with people you actually like. People you trust to help you pop a squat in the parking lot cause that portapotty just want going to cut it.

It has been 25 years since my last visit and the improvement is tremendous. I havent rode my bike completely around yet, but Im looking forward to it.

Fishing tournament at the lake tonight got a boat permit.Then watched them take off.Great service nice young lady helped us.

I was there for the walking trail and it was nice. Has some side paths that take you more into nature

Bicycle/walking trail will be nice if they ever finish it. Contractors have milked the project and create hazards for traffic. Theyll have to redo the lake road by the time they are done. Motorcyclist beware of construction materials on the road where crews are working. Ive mentioned it to the city and MAPS coordinators but that did no good. Cops sit and watch them pretty much every day when they could be writing them tickets. Itll be nice once the contractors are done and gone.

The boat didnt sink so its a solid 4 :-) Really liked the boat ramps, I would have given a 5 star if there was enough boat docks to accommodate nightly or weekly rentals. There is just enough for yearly rentals and those are full up.

Sarah is super cool and was very helpful. They are going to try And have the Store open by next spring, with TOOB rentals again and skies possibly. Also will be serving up awesome burgers again for when your ready for that quick lunch before you get back on the water. And there even working on possible little 2 man fish boat rentals or maybe even SeaDoos. Can’t wait to see how they structure it. I went to that sense I was a little boy like 5 and now I’m 36exy lmao. Congrats on the new owners I hope they wow us. Similar to the restaurant on Lake thunderbird that also serves amazing foo, pull up boat slip walk in.

I went today 8/24/19 it was so much fun. When I got home I had a tick on my hand took it off and crushed it. I checked my husband he had one on his back feasting on him. He check me then I had two more on me. Please stay out of the grass. Enter a own risk. Other wise great please.

They are doing a lot of work to make this place nicer and more family friendly! We love the new paved trail that will soon make it around the lake and are very excited for it to be completed. (Its June 2019 and about half done)

Very cool place. The person that leases it is awesome, very nice guy. Great place to kick back and watch a football game, also serves beer and has Tvs everywhere in the seating area and a huge nice fireplace. Even has music(stereo)playing outside if you want to hang out there. Go visit this Mariana, youll love it !

Lake Draper has always been a great place for me, considering Ive gone there since I was a kid. About 20 years now. They have made major improvements the past couple of years and I definitely can see a difference in the general care for the environment surrounding the lake. Not alot of little anymore, great upkeeping of the trails (which you can ride horses on), and there is always someone able to help with a problem at the marina, including police officers who help keep everything under control.

I currently work here. The lake is currently FULL and is open for the general public to enjoy. Fishing, boating, hiking, biking, riding, etc all available here at the lake. Unfortunately no swimming is allowed (you can still tube, ski, or wakeboard). The marina is located a few miles from Tinker Air Force Base, and at all times in the day you can watch all kinds of jets and planes landing or taking off! Theyre so loud! Fishing is great. We sell the city and state permits at the marina. Theres a nice playground for kids just south of the marina. Marina hours M - F 8:30-5:30 Sat - Sun 8-5:30.Theres also horse riding stables, and off road trails around the lake too! If you havent checked it out, you should! Take a nice drive around and enjoy the outdoors a bit!

Big and beautiful for those who have a boat but there is no swimming allowed. There definitely needs to be more signs saying it because we were swimming in contaminated water. I dont understand how it can be fished in but not swam in for people like me who enjoy actually eating the fish we catch.

Great for boaters but not for swimming. You can find a place to jump in but not really with little kids. There are no designated swim areas. Staff was friendly. 😊

We sure were glad the Marina is here and was open. On a hot day, biking around Draper can make you run low on water. They were friendly and let us fill our water bottles for free. They carry fishing/boating/camping essentials, and even ice cold beer. Stop in and see them... Good folks.

Its beautiful but dont plan on actual camping here. There arent sites with fire rings so Im not sure how they qualify if you cant make smores or sit by a fire.Waste of $8

This is a convenient shop right by the lake. They have a small selection of tackle and boat accesories. They opened a cafe inside that I havent tried yet, but it looked nice. The bathrooms are usually clean.

Was a weekday so got in and out quick. Bought a day pad for ATV park, the get was very helpful and gave us a couple maps of the trails

4 lane boat ramp with mooring docks between them to load and unload passengers in your boat. Large new playground for the younger kids. About 20-30 rental boat slips .In a sheltered cove. Gas pump on the rental dock. Small store that sells different type of lake permits for boating, fishing, motocycle/atv trails, bike trails, Clean and well lighted with good lake petrol presents.

Good local Lake to take the boat out. Havent had much luck fishing it. Kids like the playgrounds. Still weary being out there during dark. Not much to concession at the marina.

The city is making Massive improvements around the lake and my husband and I are very pleased!

This place needs an overhaul. The beaches are full of broken glass the trails are all blocked off to where you cant drive-on and if youre walking on foot theyre so overgrown with stickers its impossible to take your dogs on the trails. Unless your in a boat if fishing from the dock you will be dissapointed!!! Such a waste of what could be a beautiful short getaway

Ive live in the OKC area all my life an this was my 1st time I. A boat on Draper lake I sure didnt know it is as big as it is. We fished it on memorial day 2017 an tore them up. We caught over 20 bass that day. The biggest was 6 pounds 5 oz. All catch an release. Ill take my bass boat on Draper again. The lake is about 20 minutes west of my house.

There is a marina that is heavily used. theres a playground with lots of fun climbing toys for children, picnic area; but the bait shop/snack bar could use some updating.

Theyre very helpful. And have everything you need, for your Lake activity, fun and Adventure. Beautiful place.
